new to tucson 3/22/2010

I recently had a job transfer to Tucson and needed to find a home to rent, fast. I contacted several rental companies and told them what I was looking for. Pretty, clean, close to work and a POOL! I saw a few homes but the ones I liked best were the ones from Rathbun Realty. They had alot to choose from and of course I got my pool! So far everything is great, and I am very happy with them. They have helped make my ""Tucson"" experience a terrific one more

I have Rathbun Realty manage my home. They do a wonderful job, and I am very thankful for what they do. I do now worry about my home at all, because I know that they do what they do very well, which is good, because I have no clue how to manage a rental. more

We rented from Rathbun two years ago. We needed a house quickly because we were transferred to Tucson with practically no notice. My husband found them on line, we called, saw three houses, fell in love with one, signed the lease and moved in two days later. We have rented with them ever since, now we are looking for a house to buy and you can bet we will have them find us one. Friendly people, great service 3/15/2010

I am going to be moving back to the east coast for a job and was desperate because I can't afford my house in Tucson to be vacant for long. I saw the commercial for Rathbun and called them. An agent came to my house that day! I signed the paperwork and a sign was out up the next day. I expected it to sit for a while but got a call a week later that they had it rented! A nice military family is going to move in-and I don't have to stress about it anymore. I would recommend this company to everyone I know! i was a renter, now owner 3/4/2010

I have rented for many years, and Rathbun Realty was the best. They took care of issues when they needed to be done, and help me with my concerns. They made my life as a renter so much easier. I ended up buying a house a few years later, and when I left Tucson I had Rathbun Realty manage my home. They did a great job there as well. Either being a renter or an owner, I would always recommend Rathbun Realty. more

I love this company. I was looking for months to rent a house and was running out of time. I than found one that they were managing and they made it so simple. I filled out the application and knew the same day that I was approved, they even let me pick up keys the very next day. They are the best in Tucson. \r Pros: Everything Cons: Very busy more

Helped me keep my home! 2/22/2010

I almost lost my property becasue it was vacant for so long-I saw their commercial (cute puppy!) and called them right away. I signed up-they found a good tenant for me within 2 weeks! I have been very happy with how professional and friendly they are and I am VERY happy that I don't need to worry anymore! Pros: Found good tenants quickly Cons: Fees are a little high more

Unprofessional 2/19/2010

If you see the Rathbun realty add on TV, it says it all. After all, who else would pay for air time and feature an ugly dog with a wretched bark as part of an opening ad? They think it's cute, however it comes across as grossly unprofessional. Because of their poor taste in advertising, I would never consider allowing them to manage my rental property. Cons: Not sure what service you'll receive more

I would be very cautious about dealing with these people. My mother in - law rented a home from them. They stole her entire deposite of $1095.00. We left the house in move in condiion. They are probably pocketing over $300,000 yr from the renters, and trust me its not going in the owners pockets. They lied to us for just about everything including changing the locks after a new tenant moves in. I would look into checking the BBB before dealing with them and by the way: They Aren't Members??????? Pros: No PROS Cons: VERY DECEPTIVE PEOPLE more

Rathbun asked me to write a review on my experience with them-and I am gladly doing so. I almost lost my property to foreclosure last year. I had it on the market for sale and it was not getting anywhere. I saw their ad on TV and called them. They met me at my property and I signed up with them that day. They were able to rent my property within a couple of weeks for enough rent that I could almost completely cover my mortgage payment. Their fees are reasonable and they have kept my expenses to a minimum. I have a good tenant in the property and the house looks great. I am very satisfied with their service. Pros: Rented my home quickly Cons: none that I have experienced more

Amazed. Thats all I can say. I had bought a home in Tucson, AZ in 1991. I soon after moved out of Tucson, but did not want to sell my property, so I hired Rathbun Realty as my property manager. They are amazing. They handle everything. All I have to do is collect the money from my account. Really its that easy. They were a life saver, I had no idea how to run a rental, and to be honest I probrobly would have messed it up, but Rathbun Realty came to my rescue. They took all my stress away, and I get paid every month with the rent, who wouldn't want that. I would recommend Rathbun to everyone. Pros: everything Cons: nothing... have not had a problem more

They helped us 1/20/2010

I own two homes in Tucson, AZ and have had Rathbun Realty manage them for over 3 years now. I had always managed my homes myself but it just became to much to handle, since I work full time and my family did want to see me now and then. Anyway my wife and I are so pleased with them. My houses are always rented and they, (Rathbun) keep close tabs on them too. I can count on my rent coming in on time and they even inspect my houses to make sure the tenants are being responsible. Cannot recomend this company 1/12/2010

I find it odd so many five star ratings came up about this company within a couple of months....interesting and usually means the company is behind that. We own our home and rathbun helped us rent it. They did rent it fairly quickly. The communication with them pretty much stopped at that point. It was really difficult and their lack of organization was impossible to get around. Repairs were slopy and never done in time. we ended up just selling the house after the lease was up but i would really reconsider if you are using them. realize organization and professionalism are not their strong points and they will not be easy to deal with. I signed up with Rathbun a few months ago to manage my property in Tucson. I almost went with someone else because they charge the same commission as most but also a $15.00 admin fee on top of that. But I stuck with them because their vacancy rate is so low. The extra $15.00 ended up being well worth it! They got my house rented to nice people within 2 weeks of it going on the market! My expenses were low, and they saved my credit because without tenants I was going to lose that property. I am very impressed with this company and highly recommend them.
