I have been renting from Rathbun for 7 years. I had the choice to go to another company to rent a home, but I had heard a lot of good things about Rathbun, so I choose them. I have never been happier in my life! Every time I have called with questions, or have been in need of repairs, the staff has always been more than helpful. Recently, I had some personal family issues come up that have played havoc with my life. On top of that, my air conditioning went out in my house. When I called to have it fixed, let's just say that I was not so pleasant with the person who answered the phones. Even through my sarcasm, the gentleman who answered the phones was very polite and understanding. After explaining the situation, things started moving fast. My air condition was fixed within 24 hours, and I was having to deal with one less thing in my life. I want to truly thank everyone at Rathbun for all of their hard work, and understanding during a very stressful time! I had no intentions of leaving my home any time soon, but I definitely won't do so now! Keep up the great work! more

I rented for a 6 month period because I just moved into the area and wanted to get acclimated and to look for my own home to purchase...All I have to say is Slum Lords would be a nice way to talk about this dishonest company of crooks!!!!!!! They are out and out crooks in my experience. I moved into a property with holes in the walls, never painted and ready for this the PRIOR TENANT used her key to come into the house...she wanted to check to see if Rathbun changed the locks because they charged her...Well guess what they didn't!!! Have fun trying to get what is due to you on securrity deposit, they tried to charge me for things that I had on the walk in that they never fixed and are you ready for this they charged the owner for the repairs that they never did!!!!!!!! They also charged the owners and me the cleaning fee, inspection fee, re-keying fee, etc... Watch out for these guys, I've already turned them into the Attorney General and will be turning them into the Licensing division! RENT WITH EXTREME CAUTION!! more

In almost 4 years of business, Rathbun Realty did one thing for me; cashed checks. While they did find a renter for me that paid on time, they CONSTANTLY would take liberties with my property and make decisions without consulting me. One month they offered the renters a 50% discount on rent and didn't even tell me about it until I noticed I received half the money. They also never held the renter liable for anything; always putting the blame on me or my property. They did inspections every 6 months (and charged me for it), but when the renters left, my property was a total disaster. The renters stole things like my gas grill and propane tank and Craftsman yard tools, and Rathbun Realty told me to file a claim with Small Claims Court. They didn't do anything. All in all, I paid over $110 per month for nothing. I will never even use any property management company again. That's how disgusted I am. Also beware of their sister company, which is a painting company. Oddly enough, almost every single ""repair"" that my property needed was related to painting; which is probably a conflict of interest or some kind of fraud. more

You need to watch these guys, they will try to charge you for things. Examples, they had no mailbox key for the rental, I had to pay 40 bucks for a mailbox key...they tried to charge me 36 dollars for a water bill that they failed to pay. They take money out of your deposit to change the locks when you leave and clean the carpets. When we moved in the locks were old and the wife vacuumed the carpet 10 times to get it somewhat clean...watch these guys. more

This company is made up by a bunch of scammers. I hired this company to manage my house in Tucson, when i moved out of state. they were fairly quick in finding tenants, but they rented the house for 200 dollars less than what they told me thry would. They spent the following 6 months keeping almost 100% of the rent they owned me, pretending to repair several things in the house. I later found out that most of the repair never happened and were never even requested by the tenants. If you are an homeowner and you are looking for a management company, look somewhere else. There are plenty of better businesses in town. This company will make you sign a 20 year contract (what???) and that will forbid you to get in touch with your own tenants, so that they can charge you all the phony repairs that they want. If you are a tenant looking for a house advertised by Rathbun, save your self some headaches and search for a new house to rent. I fired them after about 7-8 months, and had to fight hard to get my deposits back. Fortunately, I had kept a record of all the communications and phone calls i had with them, and I was ready to sue the hell out of them. I had plenty of evidence to show that they repeatedly lied to us about repairs and depositing our moneys (I was charged twice for many many repairs). I started questioning repairs about a couple of months of not receiving rent. After a couple of months, they pretty much stopped answering my email and returning my phone calls. Every time I called, I could never get an hold of someone beside the receptionist. Rathbun Bette has her hands on the Tucson Realty Association,where she is even an instructor, so you will have an hard time looking for compensations there. Don't be fool, this is the typical company that has its own employees write fake positive reviews on websites such this, to make their ratings high. Go ahead, keep reading those beautiful reviews, they are all fake. If you indeed choose to hire them, or have already hired them, make sure to question every single repair that they provide. I bet most of the money this company makes comes from repairs that their sister company makes, or pretends to make. And for God's sake, don't expect them to return any of your phone calls or email. more

Rathbun is possibly the worst company I've ever rented from. Day one with the walkthrough there were many problems noted and submitted for repair. We are now sitting 90 days passed, with numerous requests and ""reminders"" to repair the damages (which were there before move in and include HOLES in walls). They did not even attempt to come to our location until a lawyer was threatened. SLUM LORDS!!!! more

My family and I are moved back east for work last April and knew we could'nt sell our house for what we wanted. So I called Rathbun Realty and a couple of other property managers, my wife and I liked them best. Their contract was very straightforward, fair and their rep was very honest, so we chose them. We are real happy with Rathbun and are recommending them to our friends. more

I am a student at the UofA and was in need housing ASAP… I saw a house really close to the campus that had their sign in front of it. I called, set the appt to see it and within days was moving it. They made the process so easy. Now I live close to the school, and it’s so easy for me. I wish school was that easy. more

Wonderful Service!!\r \r Recently I had to switch jobs and move my family across the country. I did not want to sell my house in Arizona so I decided to use Rathbun as my property management. Since I knew nothing about property management I was concerned going into the process. Rathbun was great during the whole thing and walked me through it step by step. I know my property is in great hands with Rathbun and they have given me a sense of security knowing I am in great hands with their company!! more

I was a renter with Rathbun Realty. My husband is military and we had been ordered to Tucson in May of 2010. We rented a house through Rathbun Realty and we loved it. Then in July, we were ordered to another base and were to report by August 2010. We were so disappointed to be leaving the house, but Rathbun helped us through-out the process again. They were so helpful and understanding. When we received our deposit back it was less than we expected, but we understood the charges for cleaning and repairs since we had left the house in such a hurry. more

My lease expires at the end of September & I have recently been looking at new places to rent. While researching rentals online, I came across Rathbun’s website. I went to see a few of the homes that were vacant & one of the property managers met me at a few of the other homes that were occupied. I thought that was really nice because they could have just told me to wait until it was vacant. But I ended up finding the perfect home for me & my family! I just wanted to say how nice this company is & I can’t wait to pick up keys & move in!! more

A friend of mine has rented from Rathbun for several years and recommended them to me when I was transferring to Tucson. I was able to do everything long distance, through e-mail and faxing. When I arrived in town on a Sunday, I had a home to go to right away. They made it so easy for me. more

I SAW RATHBUN'S COMMERCIAL, GAVE THEM A CALL, THEY HELPED ME THROUGH MY PROBLEM ISSUES WITH AN UNDESIRABLE TENANT, HELPED RE-BUILD MY HOME AND NOW ALL IS WELL. THEY WERE MY ""SUPER CHOICE"" FOR GETTING MY RENTAL BACK ON TRACK AND TAKING CARE OF IT FOR ME. more

We rent from Rathbun Realty, and are currently looking to buy a home. At first, we were a little skeptical with the economy, but having Rathbun along the way has helped a lot. Having them as our manager was great, but now as well our agent, I wouldn’t be able to ask for anything better than this. more

Rathbun use to manage my property several years ago. They were great managers, and I ended up having them list my home for sale as well. They did everything that they were supposed to do, when they were suppose to do it. I really appreciated them for everything they did. more

About 30 years ago, my husband and I rented from Rathbun Realty. They were amazing landlords. They helped us through everything. When we had any issues, concerning rent or maintenance, they were always very helpful. After a couple years, we bought a home through Rathbun Realty and again same experience. Now, my husband and I are retired and have trusted Rathbun Realty to manage our home. I do not worry about our home, and we know that our home is in great hands. We have had nothing but great service with Rathbun! more
