They are so corrupt that I'm sure most of these positive reviews are fake. The owners are criminals. If you ever see the names, George W. Glover and Cassandra Leigh Arnold, Katherine Snodgrass, and anyone who worked for them, run away as fast as you can. \r The staff doesn't even answer the phone most of the time. The poor renters like Debra L (below) are going to discover that none of their rent money was received and the owners filed bankruptcy. \r According to the Daily Star, Sept 5, 2012, They were shut down by the Arizona Department of Real Estate. \r \r ""The Arizona Department of Real Estate issued a cease-and-desist order Tuesday to Tucson's Rathbun Realty Inc., doing business as Rathbun Property Management.\r \r The company, which manages 800 rental homes in Tucson, and its designated brokers, George W. Beware! A complete nightmare! 9/15/2012

Are there really any SATISFIED OWNERS or are they all fabricated. IIf you're satisfied why don't you leave your name? I've been telling everyone who will listen that Rathbun is a HORRIBLE company.\r \r They collect rent on the 1st but hold your money for at least 3 weeks. They don't return emails or respond to letters which seems they don't want anything in writing. They charge outrageous fees for cleaning and maintenance. I had the carpets cleaned and they insisted I have them done again with their company. They charged me $13 to tighten a screw on a toilet paper holder! It's now been 4 weeks since they collected the rent on my house and I still don't have a deposit into my account. more

Consistenly late paying the rents to landlords 9/15/2012

AREN'T ALL OF YOU WHO SAID WONDERFUL THINGS ABOUT RATHBUN REALTY EMBARRASSED? \r \r On a regular basis I am forced to contact the company asking why my rent check hasn't been submitted. They told me the renter pays on time, so apparently they're holding my money. The last 2 months they have been more than a month late. In January they had received 2 months of rent, but had not paid me a dime. For the third month in a row I've had to ask where my money is, but they have refused to respond. They blamed the late payment in December on the bank saying the bank's computers were down for 2 business days then the bank was closed for the weekend and the Monday following for the holiday. I find it impossible that an entire bank's computer system was down for 2 whole days. I tell them not to complete repairs and maintenance because they add money on top of the repairs for added income for themselves. I tell them I will hire an outside company, but they go ahead and complete the repairs anyway. This whole ""property management"" thing and dealing with this company has been a NIGHTMARE. more

I recently moved to Tucson for Grad school and I had been looking online for places to rent. I ran across a listing from Rathbun so I figured I would give it a shot. It turns out the property was not the correct fit for me but the lady took my information down and said if anything comes up she would give me a call and let me know. I figured I would be put on a huge list and never hear from her again. Two days later I received a phone call from her with the perfect house for me. We did the whole application process over the web and it was such a smooth process. The house was perfect and ready to go when I got to Tucson and I could not thank Rathbun Realty enough for their kindness with helping me relocate. I will definitely be recommending them to everyone I know moving to Tucson!!!! more

I have been very happy with Rathbun. They started managing my house a few months ago. Their maintenance got it cleaned up and it was rented within weeks. I have reached the age where I just cannot handle it by myself anymore and I feel very lucky to have these great people looking after it now. more

Rathbun has been a very positive experience for me. I rented with them for years and then had to move away to help my Mother. Times had been tough for me, and having to move back to town was very stressful. Rathbun helped make that transition very smooth. Now I'm back renting with them, and I'm so happy. They always took care of me, and I have every confidence that they will do so again. more

I have owned a rental home in Tucson for the past 4 years. The first year I took care of it myself, a lot more work than I expected. I called different companies but chose Rathbun Realty and hired them to take over for me. What a relief!! I am now ""headache"" free. I have great tenants and their crew takes care of anything that comes up, repairs, problems, ETC. They really are the best! Happy Guy! more

I am a new tenant to Rathbun Realty. I was currently renting a home that was managed by another company for 5 years. When the owner of the property switched management companies I was very hesitant and did not know if I would renew my lease with the current change. I loved the house I was in, however I did not adjust well to change. Rathbun quickly made all my fears disappear and they were so helpful with the change. They called me to introduce themselves to me, sent me all the information I needed, and made sure I felt a little more comfortable. They answered all of my questions/concerns and made me feel like they truly cared for their tenants. I have now signed a new lease with Rathbun and I cannot express how grateful I am that they were so courteous. I love the house that I am in and I have truly made it a home for me and my family. Thank you to everyone over there at Rathbun!!! more

The tenants have been in my house less than 2 years and Rathbun just surprised me with a $204 charge to have the carpets cleaned. Isn't keeping the interior clean the tenants' responsibility? Next I expect they'll be charging me for maid service. more

I own several homes and had been managing them myself. When one of my parents got sick and I needed to find a management company I checked around and decided on Rathbun. They sent an agent to meet me at the unoccupied house and she showed me what she thought they could rent the house for. She also explained how they would handle the already occupied homes, repairs and how they handled rents. They have always handled my concerns, explained any questions I have had about billing, and taken care of getting maintenance and repairs done after getting my approval for the major items. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have their house managed. Thanks Rathbun, and keep it up! more
