Thorough cleaning, but crew arrived with insufficient instructions 2/1/2015

I had to haggle over price because, despite telling the order taker I was ordering this work for the hallways of a condominium (a residence), the crew treated it as a commercial job. The crew arrived surprised they were doing external hallways and not my unit hallways. more

Sales person described the polishing our counter tops but that was not the process used. 1/31/2015

To rxpensive 1/31/2015

Although we had a lot of carpet to clean they are very over priced. I've used people in the past and the carpet stays clean for a very long time, spots have reserfeced in a months time. Don't get me wrong the people that lived here were dirty and it was a big job but very over priced. The two guys that did the cleaning were wonderful! more

Good job on cleaning my air ducts 1/31/2015

All in all did good job cleaning air ducts but your people need to be more careful. They knocked a picture Collage off the wall and broke it. Also did not bother covering their shoes when they came in the house. more

Disappointed 1/29/2015

Whomever came out to give us the estimate reported that the carpet should clean up well. I am disappointed. There is an area in my son's room that looks worse than before they came. The den ( high traffic area) the upstairs hall did not look much better at all. I wish I had the over 200$ I spent to put toward something else. Additional charges 1/28/2015

I always use your services for rug, drapery, and vent cleaning. You do a great job, and I want to support local businesses. I moved back to Louisville in 2007 and have used and been very satisfied with Coit. One thing bothers me: I can never figure out how the total is arrived at. For instance, in my last transaction, the associate added in a scotch guard treatment without even mentioning the option to me. I feel like their job is to bring in as many add-on charges as possible, instead of listening to the client and making them happy. One more thing--I often get coupons a day or two before they expire, which is probably a postal issue--but still annoying. more

Great result, but pricey 1/28/2015

The people were fantastic. One complaint is that they broke the door closer on our front glass storm door. But the service was nice, polite, quick and efficient. Very happy with the results. I just really feel like the price is too high. Maybe it's my naitivity, but you see Groupons for air duct cleaning at a fraction of the price. yes, COIT is a name brand, but is it that much better? I don't know, that's where my inexperience came into play. All I can say is that the results were fantastic. more

Cleaning bloody carpet 1/28/2015

Coit personnel were great, thorough, & accomplished. However, the blood stain from my dog was too difficult to remove. I should've called Coit immediately when I noticed the stain before I tried to clean it myself. I'll know next time... more

would not use again 1/28/2015

I have used Coit for many years, both for in home cleaning and for rugs that need to be taken to your location. The last three times I have sent rugs out, I have been very dissatisfied. An area rug was returned with large orange spots that were not on there when the rug was picked up. You took it back and the rug was returned clean, but it was annoying. Then I sent an antique oriental. The salesperson assured me that you had an expert who did a great job. The rug was returned with the fringe on one end badly damaged. It was sent out with the fringe in excellent condition and returned in such bad shape that it is now at Fran Jasper's being repaired. I did not report this as I did not unroll the rug for several months after it was delivered and did not want to argue about it. Just last month an area rug was returned with streaks and your delivery men argued with me about it and stated that it was wear. The rug is less than two years old, is wool on wool, and is walked on by one person! After calling customer service you did take the rug back and returned it without the streaks, but that was the last straw for me. I will NOT be using you again, and will NOT recommend you to anyone asking for a good carpet cleaner. And you should really tell your delivery people that arguing with the customer is not your best interests. more

Cleaned La-Z-Boy Chair 1/27/2015

They did a good job cleaning this chair that was stained with some old food stains. I was especially impressed with the agent, Marvin. He was very courteous and did a very good job. more

Very dissatisfied 1/27/2015

First of all, my name is Cindy, not Leona (which is what was in my email). I paid A LOT of money to have my shower/tile cleaned and sealed and my carpets cleaned. The first time the cleaning was done, I called and complained because my shower was absolutely not cleaned and the one stain I had in my carpet looked no different. I took pictures of the film over the tile that I could rinse off with water. It was a waist of my money and my time right before Christmas. The tile left a white film on my bathroom floor that I had to pay someone else to come and remove. The nice cleaning guy came back and rushed through the process again with no different results in my tile or the stain in my carpet. I used to be a faithful COIT customer, but I will be taking my business somewhere else from now on. more

Excellent Company!!! 1/27/2015

COIT in Louisville is a very customer-oriented service company. The young woman who called to offer me cleaning services (as a repeat customer) was nothing short of delightful. The gentleman who came to complete my estimate had also been with the company many years. He explained the new products since COIT's last visit to address our (awful) pet stains. The young men who completed the cleaning (also with longevity with COIT) were courteous, careful, thorough and efficient. The pet stains were greatly improved. It's apparent the new products are indeed better...best remedy for the pet stains/odors short of new carpet! more
