Best

I enjoyed my experience visiting this AAA. The staff were very helpful, honest and serviced my car quick and thoroughly. I will be returning back!

I called on Friday to make an appointment for Saturday and was told that despite the fact that they are open for 8 hours on Saturdays, that they do not accept appointments. I was ...

Dirty, and Over-Priced!!! 8/18/2010

I've had my car maintenance and repairs done at the Morrisville AutoMark for sometime now...but no more! The facility has become absolutely filthy! Grease and dirt everywhere. (not talking about the shop area...I know that's going to get dirty). But the condition of the facility tells a person a lot about the staff...and this one tells me they don not care!!! I was overcharged by 200% on parts, my last two repairs (I checked prices with 2 other shops). I do not mind paying a little extra for getting good service, but the Service is no longer there! more

AAA Car Care Center @Kildaire farms is horrible!! 7/13/2010

AAA Car Care Center is Awful! They always try and find something to fix with the normal oil change and persuade to do it then to charge extra lot for it. Never get your tires changed here, discount tire or tire rack website gives sweet deal for exact same brand tires. AAA auto care seems very greedy. They advice to change some of the things which can be avoided for some more time. Cons: behind your money more

Review Directly Below is a FAKE !!!! 10/20/2009

The Reviews below by RJL1856 and 99hondagirl are were both posted from the same IP address and are obviously FAKE. This is a prime example of what WRAL will be reporting on tomorrow night. e.i. ....Fake Reviews to bloster or degrade businesses. The best thing to do... visit the shop and talk to the folks waiting on their vehicles. Tehy will be more than happy to tell you how satisfied they are. And as for the belligerent poster.... good luck with your life (you'll need it). Pros: RJL1856 is Very Transparent....as is His IP Address Cons: Too Stupid to Know Better more

Stay away from them 10/20/2009

My experience with this auto shop is a nightmare. My first business with this shop was a tune-up with a 98 Honda Accord. The salesperson then came out with a long list of recommendations. I felt none of them were necessary, but agreed to have my sparkplugs replaced. However, I did not realize at the time this would be the beginning of my nightmare. About three months later, the emission system failure light went on when I was driving on Interstate 95 near Richmond. I went back to the shop, and the salesperson told me that my car had the wrong type of sparkplugs, and that caused the failure of my catalytic converter. I must replace the converter and all the sensors, and that was estimated to be $2000. Then I told them the sparkplugs were replaced by them just a few months ago. The salesperson then turned to his manager, and then the manager said the sparkplugs were compatible, the catalytic converter failed because it was old. Is that true? I don’t believe them, my Honda Accord only had 120000 miles, and the original converter is supposed to last the life span of the car. Anyway, I spent over $1800 to replace the converter and sensors. Yesterday, I took the same car to this shop to do a winter ready service and state inspection. They suggested the flush the radiator and I agreed. Several hours later, the salesperson called me saying my radiator hoses are leaking, and they suggested replacing the hose and thermostat, which cost over $500. I went to the shop and found some stains of coolant on the engine block, but the hose looked OK, no a single microcrack can be found on the surface. I decided to let them to replace the hose, but not the thermostat since the latter works fine. 15 minutes later, the salesperson called my again, saying the radiator hose connector had a crack and needs to be replaced, and there will be an extra charge of over $450. I did not trust them any more and rejected. When I went to the shop, they showed me a piece of falling hose connector. The fracture surface looks new, suggesting that the connector was newly damaged when they tried to remove the old hose or install the new one. They managed to attach the hose to the remainder of the radiator hose connector; I had to pay them over $300 for the service, and pay another $400 to replace the radiator elsewhere. Plan to do services in this shop? Think it again, if you stay there for a couple of years, you could end up with paying twice the cost of a new car and getting an old car with all parts replaced. Pros: Nothing Cons: Trying to bleed you more

Nothing but good experiences for me 10/20/2009

I'm just going to guess that the negative reviews posted below are from the competitors across the parking lot. I say this because their parking lot is practically empty every time I take one of our cars into service at AutoMark. We have used AAA AutoMark for about two years now and have never had cause to mistrust them. Quite the opposite indeed. The folks across the road need to understand that you cannot build your business by trying to belittle your competition. There is plenty of service work to be performed in Wake County... if you just provided quality service as does AutoMark, you would get your share of the pie! Pros: Friendly, reliable Cons: long waits at times due to being so busy. more

Don't go! 10/19/2009

Took my 99 honda to this establishment because it carried the AAA name and I thought it would be trustworthy and have good service. AAA should take their name off this establishment and that is where my next letter will go. went n complaining of my malfuntion light on, was told it was the EGR valve as well as needing a tune up. With my AAA discount the cost was over $1000. Yes you read that right....$1000. I went home and did some research. The valve is about $90 and labor anywhere from $75 to $100 /hour. Most people reported paying around $385 to $400!! So I called my grandpa and told him the story, he called the place he uses, the guy came to cary from kinston and towed my car to kinston and I am still going to save around $600. I think what upset me more than being overcharged however was when my grandpa went in the business to get my keys they handed him the keys and told him he would have to search the lot and find the car!! Now I am going to send a letter to the better business bureau and to AAA, It is one thing to try to rip people off but they were just plain rude and ugly. If I could give zero stars I would. 1 star is too many! I hope they go out of business. Pros: very prompt with overpricing Cons: overpriced, think women are idiots, rude to elderly more

Friendly and Solid Service 10/2/2009

After reading through most of the negative reviews, it has become obvious that they are made by disgruntled, previous (non-professional) employees and probably the staff of Meineke across the street. We have had our 3 cars serviced here for over a year and have always been very pleased with the results. Pros: Usually fast, always good Cons: Coffee stinks more

Great Deal for $99 10/2/2009

first have to comment about yellowbird69's review... the profile was set up on the same as the review, which means it's a fake review 99.9% of the time. Second, if this had really happened, why would you not be taking up the issue with the Company owners? Now, as for the $99 deal mentioned by gmanj .... I'm on my third $99 deal. I put a lot of miles on my car and have great use for the "deal". Where else are you going to get 4 Oil/Filter changes, 2 tire rotations, an air filter change and a windshield repair for $99 ????? I had two, good sized rock chips on my windshield and they could not repair it on site because they have no one trained for it yet. But they had an outside source do it for no charge...so I'm sure they lost money on the $99 "Deal". That's some good people! Pros: Godd Service, very nice and helpful staff Cons: No chipped glass repair on site more

keep your daughters and granddaughters away 10/1/2009

sernt my grandaughter to the kildaire farm location for an oil change. the manager made remarks to her that were very unprofessional and made her feel very uncomfortable. this is suppose to be a professional business, but the actions and words of the manager, showed that there was no professionalism at ALL. the manager needs to realize that we do have teenage drivers and they do try to take care of thier vehicles, but when going to a facility, they DO NOT need to be "hit on" nor do they want or need to be touched. What type of people does your business hire??? Pros: nothing Cons: manager more

Good deal, be careful 8/28/2009

Went in with an oil change coupon and they did me one better with an oil change plus tire rotation for $25. They tried to sell me a $99 annual deal first though - the guy handed me a card, which I put away only to realize he was staring at me apparently expecting me to buy it then and there. I waited for my car - very nice waiting room, free wifi, etc. Then he got me with the brakes and sway bar need $420 of work. Since I have my own mechanic in Apex for major repairs I'll get a 2nd opinion, but I'm skeptical because of two things - (1) I didn't ask for an inspection and I get leery when folks find big money repairs in areas I didn't even ask them to check; and (2) I noticed everybody else in the shop seemed to be in the same situation. So...good deals, nice place, people seem nice but you may want a 2nd opinion on those extras. Pros: Got excellent deal on oil change/tire rotation combo Cons: tried to sell me $420 of services on top of it. more

Much Better than the Other Guys ! 6/17/2009

Having all three of our cars serviced here now. The staff is great! Service is complete and relatively speedy...considering that they are always quite busy. We have used Colony Tire and Meineke in the past...they don't even come close! And you may notice that the competition has made futile attempts to bash these guys. Pros: Very Nice Team of Folks Here Cons: They don't sell Toyo tires (Toyo Versado LX) more

Stay Away 6/9/2009

I expected a good experience based on the good AAA name. I was about the 4th person in line for an 8am Saturday morning oil change. After an hour I decided to check on what was taking so long. I watched the "mechanic" check my battery, my charging system etc. etc., smoke a cigarette, eat his breakfast, use the bathroom, have a coffee...then another hour later report a list of problems. The car is fine, I just wanted an oil change. 3 months later...I check under the hood the oil cap was never put on! If the guy wasn't so concerned with padding an oil change bill maybe he would have done it right! Do yourself a favor STAY AWAY! Pros: clean bathroom Cons: poor service more

Worst service ever in my experience 1/17/2009

I did oil change last month and they did not even tighten my drain cap and gave me a list of things that my car is having problem and when I asked for the total charge that would take to fix it I was told something around 1000 dollars. Then I thought I will check with someone else because I suspected all the issues that they told me. I went to another service and asked them to inspect my car and they told everything is fine except a small welding to fix the problem which the AAA center told me would cost 1000 dollars. Only at this service center where they told me everything was fine, showed me that my previous oil change was not done properly as they did not even tighten the drain cap. I was angry & so upset as AAA did not do the oil change properly and also reported that my car had so many problem which never even exist. Then I went and talked to the manager and he said its human error and all humans do mistake. I told him its b*ll sh*t even if you cannot tighten the drain cap. If I havent seen this with the other service I might have end up one day in a accident or my engine might have burnt with no oil. He kept saying its human error and can do free oil change next time. I wish I could give zero stars but I dont have that provision. This center doesn't have any good mechanics and they dont do any service with their heart or service mind. They just try to make all sh*t money from every customer. Pls dont go there and k*ll yourself in the middle of the road as they even will do some b*ll sh*t to your car. worst center for any service. Pros: none Cons: all worst more

bad service and a little bit overcharge 11/8/2008

I got my car's inspection there and at last I found they gave the wrong sticker date for my car. And I got oil change, they didnot let me use coupon because I didnot show it before the work done. They pursued me to change the axle which charged me about $5oo. But at the end they made the ABS light on for 3 weeks. I keep calling them to ask for the speed sensor reinstalling. I must say that they are friendly, but never call me to tell me the part is ready or something. I will never recommend to do anything here. If not the worst in the world, it is not a good one. God bless them to continue their bussiness. Pros: friendly service Cons: donot have enough expertise on car repair more

camry02 10/20/2008

Service writers are imcompetent and don't care about customer satisfaction. Went in for a 4 wheel alignment. They said "everything checked out fine" and charged me. Did not give me the alignment printout. I had to ask for it only to see that they did NOT do a thing. Before and after specs where the same! Many specs where shown in red and out of range. When I asked the service writer, they did not bother to explain. When I went back, they tried to tell me that Toe was not adjustable blah blah! (wrong!). I got a refund. Then the service manager called me saying that their alignment equipment was not calibrated and there was mis-communication. (he was honest), but they shouldn't be doing alignments in such a case at all! Pros: none Cons: incompetent and scammers more

Worse Service 1/1/2008

I happen to have multiple bad experiance about AAA Car care chappel hill. I was to buy a car before buying I went for a 102 point car check, being a novice my decision of investing in car was 100% dependent on what they say. We gave car for check, the next day they gave me report I went through the report it was all ok but when I check the car details like VIN etc they were all wrong ,my trust was dependent on what they say, My confidence got shaken. When I asked them about it they simply asked me to come up with the report and get new report.. Moreover they gave me report saying that few things needs to be changed including timing belt & gave me an overall estimate of 800$ (approx)including evrything. I negotiated price wih the owner based on the report they gave me. I went ahead for geting all serivce and maintaince done. afterr two days they called me saying that my car needs some other part to be replaced ..and that will cost me another 300$ , I was nomore sure of what they do but I did not knew any other shop so I stick to them( even after my wife had asked me to explore other shops around.).Then I had to argue them and talked to their upline they were notr eady to go down I had no choice ,I had to go ahead but it was so bad experice , if any one ask me about where should I get my car repaired - I would say with 200% surety dont go there but any where else can be explored. more
