Horrible service, incompetent technicians 11/15/2011

I wish I've seen their reviews before going there. This is a horrible place and they will destroy your car - not fix it. They identified a problem with my car and charged me over $1000 to fix it. However, I could not drive a mile after I got it back and same problem came back. When I took it back to them, the original representative did not show up. Another representative agreed to look into it and fix for free of charge. They never contacted me saying that the work was done, however, when I called they said it was ready for pick up. After I picked up the car, it stopped on the road the same day - had to tow it. They will charge you more than any other place and their incompetent technicians will damage your car more than fixing any problem it may have. Avoid them by all means, otherwise you could be in for an expensive lesson. more

Price gouged 11/6/2011

I've been generally satisfied with AAA over the past few years, although their prices have gradually been increasing (faster than their competitors). But my last visit to simply get a new battery was ridiculous. It took them all day to simply install a standard battery. It also cost $173 for a lower-quality battery than I could've bought at AutoZone.com for $100 (including installation). AAA also did this "work" without asking if I was ok with the final price. I didn't feel like arguing with the cashier stooge afterward, but will certainly be taking my business elsewhere. more

Friendly employees and quick service. 11/6/2011

New customer - got an oil change in an hour. Would have been faster had my info already been entered in computer. Got $15 off as a AAA customer. I saw that they have a shuttle to transport customers home or to a shopping area if their car repairs will take a long time. Highly recommend. more

Long wait 11/3/2011

Got there 8 am ask how long it would take to do a tire rotation and oil change. Told 1 hr to 1 hr 20 mins. Took 2 hrs 10 mins. I understand they do all the checks and that's fine, but 2 hrs 10 mins is too long for any oil change tire rotation. The actual work done was good. more

Radiator Repair 11/1/2011

I took my Volvo in on a Saturday afternoon to have it checked for a coolant leak. The problem was diagnosed within 30-minutes and repaired (new radiator) within a couple hours. The staff is courteous and prefessional. However, I picked up my car at 4:00 PM, just at closing time and drove down the street a couple miles and made a stop at the local Lowes. When I returned to the car, the low coolant light was on. Apparently they replaced the radiator and did not add coolant. I added coolant the car is running okay. I called the shop and left a message but no one called me back the following Monday. Disappointed with the $600 spent for the repair. more

State Inspection 10/26/2011

I called AAA around mid morning as was able to get an appointment the same day for a state inspection. I arrived for my appt 30 mins early. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by all the service reps with such courtesy. I was taken right away and the turn around was quick. I was very impressed with this location and the services provided to me. Thank you! more

Cheating AAA 10/19/2011

I will never go to AAA for getting my car serviced. You guys are Cheats. I prefer to trash my car than getting it serviced my AAA. AAA robs its customers in broad day light. It happened to me at AAA located at 9519 Chapel Hill Rd, Morrisville NC 27560. more

Great service - took my car in on time and it was ready when promised Recommended other things to be aware of such as timing belt needs to be changed very soon. Close to home and very convenient. 10% discount for AAA members is big help. more
