Called Roto-Rooter in the evening due to water softener water backing up in our basement drain line. They arrived within the hour and had the clogged drain fixed in no time. Also used a camera to check on our septic system and make a recommendation about getting it cleaned out. Very professional, helpful. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers; 3/19/11: The technician arrived on time, explained the charges and what he would be doing to determine the problem. He went straight to work, determined the problem and cleared the toilet clog in about an hour. He showed me what the problem was and told me what may need to be done if the problem persisted.\r \r The charge for the service was fair and competitive. Tecnician was professional and courteous and explained things very well. more

Emergency weekend service 3/14/2011

Called them on a Sunday when I couldn't even reach anyone else. My late-night Saturday DIY water heater install had gone badly and we had no water service. They were here in less than 90 minutes and had our service restored in no time. The technician, Rob, was courteous and professional and gave us some helpful advice for maintenance. He was gracious enough to avoid any commentary on my dumb mistakes and even gave me some tips for avoiding the same problems again. Best advice- call Roto-Rooter first! Even with the extra charge for weekend call-out, the install cost just a little more than the "big box" store would have charged- if I wanted to go without water for a week! more

"Roto Rooter Plumbers 03/02/2011" came to our home because of a serious backup problem that caused major flooding throughout our entire home (both main floor and basement). Ed Sullivan, our service man, came out right away, quickly fixing our problem within a matter of minutes, not only informing us as to how the problem started but as to what kind of shape our plumbing was in (which was much better than we thought). Ed was incredibly knowledgeable, courteous, and quite professional - even coming in under what was initially quoted over the phone. If we ever find ourselves in need of a plumber again, we will call Roto Rooter Plumbing and ask for Ed to come out. I must add that we had contacted several plumbing companies around Fort Wayne before deciding on Roto Rooter because they were also "so" incredibly helpful, courteous, and professional (not to mention patient) amidst my frantic phone call about our leak! more

Great attitude when the Job stinks 2/13/2011

When my basement sewage pump failed, I knew it would be a horrible job to replace it. Roto-Rooter had a technician out within hours. He replaced my pump with no complaints (I seriously would volunteer for abdominal surgery before doing this job) and kept my finished basement clean. Oh, and he came in WAY under budget. AWESOME! more

Dax was very professional. I called and was told would have someone here between 10 and noon and was actually here early to start. He replaced my water heater and actual price was below estimate I was given. I would definitely use their service again. more

"Roto-Rooter Plumbers" 1/24/2011 1/25/2011

We called Roto-Rooter because our main was backing up and we had sewer water in our tub. When we called for service we were given an estimated time of between 1-6pm. However, after letting them know that we have only one bathroom and it is now unusable, we had a technician at our home before 2pm. It was a long job but our serviceman worked at it until he got us up and running again. Thank you. more

Invoice No. 121184 Service Technician: Dax Date: 1/22/11\r \r THis guy was very professional and very nice. He explained everything to my mother. Told her what needed to be done. This was not as expensive as was quoted to her my mother said. She is very happy and that makes me happy. I recommend Roto-Rooter because the job does get done that same day and within a short time frame. This is one satisfied customer. :) more

Very professional. Explained everything they were going to do before doing it including the costs. Explained what the issue was in a way that was easy to understand and explained what might issue may continue in the future and how to prevent/treat it. I would definitely recommed them. more

I was having a difficult problem with my sewer line. Roto-Rooter was there when they told me they would be and worked with my schedule. The work required an additional trip back to go beyond the reach of the normal 100 foot snake. They took care of all the problems and their tecnition was great at explaining everything and did a great job. I wouldn't call anyone else. more

Employee could have been more personable. He told me that we had never used their services before, yet I knew we had. He told me that the sewer line wrapped around the house and went through the back yard, yet I told him it went through the front yard to the street (ended up I was right). He was punctual. However, the price paid was WAY more than we have ever spent to have this service done. more

Great service from these folks. On time and according to estimate. Professional, knowledgeable, courteous workers got our sewer piping back in order so we could get on with our lives. And they did it all on such a chilly day with four inches of new snow on the ground. We're very happy with the work. more
