Apparently, I maxed out our garbage disposal while preparing Thanksgiving dinner. We ended up with a clogged sink and PILES of dirty dishes. Early the next morning, I called Roto-Rooter and was very thankful when Angie told me that she could have a technician at our house between 8-10am. She called me back about 30 minutes and let me know that Dax was on his way. When he arrived, he gave me a quote and went to work. He was friendly and professional and had the drain opened up in about 15 minutes. I have called Roto-Rooter in the past and would definitely recommend them! Pros: null Cons: null more

Ed was the plumber. Basement drain was back flowing. Had to come back the next day with different equipment. Fixed the problem as much as he could. Still have a problem with part of the floor drain but nothing he could fix, not from a lack of trying. He tried everything. But my water is now draining. Lots of tree roots and sludge. Kitchen sinks clogged and there's a stack of dirty dishes! 11/7/2011

Kitchen sinks clogged. What a mess! I called after 6:00 p.m. on a Wednesday night and got a call back in 10 minutes. Matt was at my house working on the problem in under 30 minutes from the time of the original call. Not only did he fix the clog, but in the course of fixing the initial problem, found the source of a slow leak we had. Though the fix of the leaky pipe required additional parts to what he would typically have available, he got the sink cleared and functioning for me until he could return and fix the leak. Needed a Fort Wayne plumber 11/7/2011

Of course it was a Sunday evening when we discovered the toilets wouldn't flush -- roots were blocking the sewer drains again. We needed a plumber ASAP. A call to Roto-Rooter, For Wayne was returned within 1/2 hour and the tech, Rob, arrived when he said he would. The problem couldn't be fixed that evening but Rob returned on Monday and had life back to normal in a very short time. He was very kind and informative. Mike was the plumber. First time I have had to call a plumber as I have lived in an apartment all my life. The company and plumber in Fort Wayne responded in about an hour and spent 15 minutes in home. Was told the price up front before the work was done and that is what I paid. No hidden fees. The plumber who responded to our call was very courteous and friendly when he arrived. We were having tree route problems that affected our sewer line and would back up into our toilet and bathtub. Not only did he help service the line to fix the problem, the technician who I spoke to on the phone initially helped give us a temporary solution until their arrival. My husband woke up early Thursday morning to a cold shower. He went to the basement and found water spewing from the top of our water heater. Called Fort Wayne Roto-Rooter right away and a plumber arrived before noon just like they said they would. The plumber Dax was knowledgeable and honest about our options. We called Roto-Rooter Plumbers in Fort Wayne, because we had a clog in our outside drain. Our plumber, Dax, arrived right on time. He tried for several hours to unclog our drain but the tree root would not move. He said he would have to use a jetter, but he would have to go back to the office to get it. He returned in a very short time and got the drain cleaned out. He said the drain also had a block in the city line and he would notify the city they would need to come out and clean out their drain. Dax worked thru his lunch hour and was very helpful. I would not hesitate to call Roto-Rooter again if I needed help with our plumbing. Thank you Roto-Rooter. Pros: null Cons: null more

Help Roto-Rooter Plumbers the toilet is ALIVE!!!! 10/9/2011

Not really having the money to call a plumber I tried many alternatives. In the end I called Roto-Rooter in Fort Wayne because they always get the job done, I have used them in the past, and I trust that they will not overcharge me. Here is my story. PS it is not a pretty one. : / more

SATISFIED CUSTOMER! 10/7/2011

After 9 days, 2 visits and alot of wasted time with another plumbing company, my washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen sink, garage sink and garage floor drain were still backing up and/or overflowing. The plumber was unprofessional and rude. He walked off the job, leaving me with the original problem unresolved. more

From the moment that I called with my crisis to the service we received at the home, it was fantastic! I haven't had this type of customer service from any business in years. They were prompt and percise on the phone, they followed up when they were on the way, they delivered exactly what they said they would. When the gentlemen was servicing the call, he went WAY out of his way to show and explain things, it was amazing! I am a hard person to please and I was astounded that such a large company provided such a great service at a decent cost. Thank you more

I am not at my house...I'm staying with my sister's kids while they are out of town. I needed a plumber and it was late. Roto-Rooter in Fort Wayne is about all you get. Her house is located in Leo, so I was told I would pay 75.00 for them to come to her house and 20.00 for gas...whatever, i guess I understand. MJ came and was there for maybe 20 minutes and I ended up paying 246.95. 135.00 for labor...WOW! I was in a bind and it had to be done but I really don't feel that 20 minutes of time spent fixing the problem was worth the cost. more

Saved the Day 9/17/2011

When my Mom's drains stopped up from tree roots she needed a Plumber close by in Fort Wayne. We called and got scheduled right away. Liz told us on the phone what to expect when Dax arrived. And what we were told would happen is exactly what happened. Quickly and efficiently. The problem was solved within an hour of his arrival. The price was reasonable and the service professional. I live in a old wooded neighborhood which means LOTS of roots!! We love having Roto-Rooter (Fort Wayne) come out because they are so informative, courteous, and respectful! There were numerous backups in the house and our Plumber was very patient to make sure that everything was okay. The plumber was at my house within 25 minutes from the call (he actually beat me)!!! more

Last winter when the roads were icy, I was on I-69 when another car cut me off in traffic and caused my car to go into slide and off into a ditch. A plumber from Roto Rooter of Fort Wayne was behind me, and he stopped and helped me get my car back on the road. I called them today to work on my hot water heater. I had a horrible problem with waste water coming back into my house. Roto-rooter came out within 2 hours and diagnosed the problem right away. The technician was very polite and nice. By that evening I had running water and was able to clean everything up. They came to my rescue several years ago too. I would definitely call them again. more

Roto-remarkable! 9/4/2011

I was scheduled for a replacement of part of the sewer pipe. They arrived promptly to do the job. It didn't rain while they worked and they worked hard. There were very large roots to be removed. They did a wonderful job and cleaned up very nicely. They were polite, didn't waste time, and did an excellent job. I will recommend them to everyone. more

I called Roto-Rooter plumbers of Fort Wayne to snake our main sewage line. The service tech was polite, knowledgeable, and professional. The line ended up being plugged with tree roots. Roto-Rooter's prices are great, and I would highly recommend them. more
