The old Ford Ranger has not run this good for years! At last I have found a repair shop where I feel like I am getting the straight scoop and not being taken advantage of. The folks at Polar Bear take the time to explain the problem and the fix...and let you can wait on things until the next service. You are the best! more

Great experience 10/24/2011

I took my Honda CRV in for a diagnostic and a Transmission Fluid exchange. I found the staff to be friendly and efficient and the cost of repair was very reasonable. I really liked that they provided me a list of suggested upkeep/repairs that need to be done during the next year but were not pushy. They explained evrything in terms that I could understand. I will definitely take my car to Polar Bear again. more

Dodge Stratus A/C Repair 9/26/2011

I am very impressed with the service I received. Kevin was upfront and honest and kept me informed throughout the repair process. He even went above by fixing a rattle that was driving me nuts!!! Anger Issues / Vindictive 8/25/2011

I gave Polar Bear Auto Care a 3 star review on an oil change because of the time it took. I reported it took over an hour, and they called me to let me know the time stamps indicated it only took 1 hour. Then the guy griped to me about how he is tired of these Group On people "slamming him on reviews for slow oil change times." Needless to say the call was not productive, he just wanted me to be the dog he kicked to make himself feel better. His message to me "We are not an oil change place like Jiffy Lube." I am sorry I bought the "come on in" offer. more

A Great Honest Shop 7/31/2011

I am a regular Polar Bear customer for 10 years since moving to Sacramento. The remote location and sometimes long waits makes it hard to leave my car there all day. Even with the great service and work done by Polar Bear, I decided to try a shop closer to my home. I was shocked by this shop saying I needed eight hundred dollars worth of work done. I did know I needed a brake job that Kevin at Polar Bear quoted as a hundred dollars cheaper. In fact all the other work the other shop said I needed, Kevin said I didn't need any of that work done. I will be a Polar Bear customer for life. more
