I had to bring back my 1977 Porsche after the AC was completely refurbished, since it never worked in hot weather (Sacramento was overcast when I first picked it up; I live in the San Diego area were it is never too hot). On this second time around, you have replaced hoses, put in a new compressor, and recharged the system. The car's AC is definitely better, but it does not cool the car down as I remember it to do. In earlier years, I could take down my Targa top and still be cooled down by the AC, even in a hot day in the 90s. Considering that you have replaced virtually every part, replaced hoses, etc, I can't understand why the AC performance has degraded. As it is, the AC is just barely tolerable.
