Bonney Plumbing, Heating, Air & Rooter Service

I keep going back to Bonney Plumbing because I don't have to worry about the work they do. I have been going to them for everything I need for about 4 or 5 years now. Generally speaking they are good enough to keep me coming back. When inspectors come, inspect the jobs, and realize that it was done by Bonney Plumbing, they always say it will be okay. That is a big deal because inspectors around here are very picky. They are the only contractor I have never had to call back as far as the inspections are concerned. They don't do as well on little jobs as they do on big jobs. If you got a big job I wouldn't go anywhere else, but my experience with smaller jobs hasn't been quite as good. more

The person who came out the last time from Bonney Plumbing was very helpful. His name was Igor. I will say that based upon my own opinion, Bonney Plumbing does excellent work, but they are expensive. Igor was very helpful. He communicated with me as far as what needed to be repaired and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Igor, and he will be the service person I ask for to repair any of my plumbing. He repaired my shower and the bathroom sink. more

I knew of Bonney Plumbing from hearing advertisements on the radio and TV and seeing their trucks in the neighborhood. I used them to replace a part in my air conditioner on the roof of my house. Everything turned out excellent. The fellow who came out got right to the job, told me exactly what was needed, and I gave him permission to do it. He was very efficient, very knowledgeable about what needed to be done, and didn't waste a lot of time with idle chatter. He didn't waste any of my time. The fellow was as nice as he could be and polite. I was just really impressed with him. He was a good representative of the company. In fact, after he left that day, I called Bonney Plumbing and told them I was really satisfied and that it was a good experience. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. more

They sent a technician out to fix two toilets that were leaking, and the plumber put in new flapper valves. Both toilets were leaking, but one was still leaking after he was done. So, I took a look at it and saw that a valve was put in upside down. I am glad I had two toilets because I was able to look at the other and see the problem. Also, when working on the air conditioning, they somehow dislodged some of the pipes in the front sprinkler system, which caused water to leak. When I called, they immediately assumed responsibility and they came back and fixed the problem. Despite a few problems, my experience with them was fine and they all knew what they were doing. more

I used Bonney Plumbing last month. It was really good. They were on time, called before they showed up, and did everything as they said they would do it. It was very expensive, but I know the industry and everyone is expensive. In terms of expense it doesn't matter who you call. This was my first time using them, though my mom and dad have used them. They have a good marketing campaign, so it was mostly name recognition. The young man, Danny, was great, and the whole thing worked out really well. He didn't have the specific part we needed, so we arranged to meet again the next day at the same time. I have two Australian Shepherds, and when I told him that I have dogs that would want to meet him he told me to bring them out. He loves dogs, and they followed him around the whole time he was there. When he left, one of my dogs was lying be the door waiting for him. I'm a dog guy, so that made the experience a lot easier. Danny was very interactive. He told me what he was doing the whole time. That type of employee is what you want as a company. I will probably always ask for Danny when I call Bonney Plumbing. more

Bonney Pluming, Heating & Air was recommend to us. They came out and loaned us a couple of air conditioners while we had the work done. It was quite hot, and they were very good about helping us during that time. The service, and everything else, was fantastic. They put in a new swamp cooler. It is working great. It was our first time using Bonney Plumbing. The people are very nice, they answered all our questions well, and the total service was very good. more

My air conditioner was out on a hot day and I would die without. Bonney came out right away. The technician who came to fix my unit was very good. He was thorough, courteous, and knowledgeable. He fixed the problem and showed me the defective parts. I am happy and I would use them again. more

Bonney Plumbing has done two jobs for me. When they came out to do a drain clean, and they came at the appointed time. The young man did a good job and cleaned up after himself. The copper water line that they did for me was done well also. It passed the inspection and is guaranteed for life. Bonney Plumbing acted promptly. They responded appropriately and quickly whenever I called. When they gave a promised time for service, someone was there. I even got a senior discount. The young man dealing with my sewer line came out on a Saturday morning and stayed for one hour. I got a 15% discount, and I tipped the young man. Of course he was very happy, but he deserved it. He completely cleaned up after himself, even bringing the dirty towels into the laundry room. I would recommend Bonney Plumbing. more

I found a leak behind the bar and found mildew and water stains. I discovered it while cleaning. The leak must have been going on for awhile. I called my brother, who told me to get in touch with my insurance. Bonney Plumbing were the first ones to come out. My house has the foundation, the plumbing, and then a slab of cement. It was quite a chore, really unbelievable. They had to use sound detectors to find a leak, and had to change and turn off the pump outside. When they went after the leak they used a jack hammer in order to get past the cement. It was definitely more than just a normal plumbing job. The guys from Bonney Plumbing were wonderful, so nice. They even bought me lunch one day. I offered to go buy them something for lunch, and they said, no, they wanted to buy me lunch. They worked their butts off, and the heat was terrible. They were polite and well-mannered. My situation really was terrible, and they apologized that they had to tear up the house. I hope I never have to go through this type of experience again. Because of the leak the linoleum was totally ruined, the cupboards were terrible, the kitchen, entry hall, and laundry room were all affected. The water damage went half way up the walls. I had all sorts of contractors working on my house. I didn't have water for two weeks while we waited for the claims adjuster. Everyone that worked on the house was great. We had a great group of men out. However, the plumbers of Bonney were the best. They even had little booties that they would wear inside the house in order to protect it. Other construction workers didn't do that. Bonney Plumbing was also very concerned about the state of my house. They even helped me out with extra things around the house, like putting in new light bulbs where I couldn't reach. A good job takes money, because the company wants to do it right and not have to come back. Bonney Plumbing was honest with me that it was going to cost a lot of money, and it did, but they did a wonderful job. more

After returning from a week of camping the utility sink to the laundry decided "no more!" and totally stopped draining when it was time to do laundry. The kitchen drain is its evil twin and the two alternate in slow draining mischief. It was the 4th of july weekend so I decided to wait until Monday to call Bonney per my bro's recommendation. It wasn't that big of an emergency though the laundromat was an experience... The guy who answered the phone Monday afternoon offered to be at the house immediately, the problem was I wasn't home so I scheduled for Tuesday. Lance showed up within the 3 hour window and after snaking the drain and the clean out successfully busted what was a very stubborn clog. As he worked we asked about the worst case scenarios if the clog wouldn't break up but Lance said not to be too alarmed yet, he didn't want us to worry. I think it took a better than an hour for the very reasonable price of $135.00 to exorcise the evil clog. He recommended having the main trap cleaned out periodically, 6-12 mo which we will do. The house is 27 years old, old iron pipes, we've been lucky up to this point that we haven't needed to call a plumber. I also had him look at the hot water heater as it is up in years but he said the old ones have greater longevity than the newer ones and as long as it was still kicking out hot water to let it be. He gave a quote for replacement of the water heater along with bringing the fixtures up to code and haul away of the old one and guarantee it for 6 years + a manufacturers warranty of 10 years. You can be sure that we'll be calling Bonney back for this and other plumbing services. Lance's professonalism and honesty is a credit to the company and to all tradespeople earning an honest living. Everything was great, and they cleaned up well when they were done. It was a very enjoyable experience. He gave the pros and cons of different options and involved me in the decision making process. It was great. They replaced a toilet and fixed a leak. It is an old system and needed stuff to be done. It was more work than I thought, however I think it was a good decision by me and a good recommendation by him. It was a positive experience. more

Bonney Plumbing, Heating, Air & Rooter Service is awesome, and true to their word. They called before they got to the house, and everyone that I met was very polite. I really can't say enough about them. Even the lady on the phone in the office was awesome. They installed a new air conditioning unit for me. I had used Bonney Plumbing a year ago to service my heating and air conditioning, and at the time they let me know that I would be lucky if the air conditioning lasted through the summer. It lasted through the summer, but on the second service we discovered it wasn't good anymore. I knew it was coming because the air conditioning unit was as old as the house. Everyone at Bonney Plumbing was great. They are reliable, dependable, and honest. I did not hear one foul word out of the technicians. Mark and Candice should be very proud of their employees. They came on time, they did what they came to do, and the plumber even wore booties over his shoes. He was to replace two bathroom sink drains, and while it was not a terribly big job, it was tough to get under the sink and work. He did a great job, and he was done in an hour. When I called Bonney Plumbing, Heating, Air & Rooter Service they told me what should be done and how much it was going to cost. They were very upfront. They showed me what the problem was and explained the fault of the system I had. They were also able to reconnect the air conditioning to the new furnace, which saved me the price of buying the second unit. Bonney Plumbing did what they said they would do in the time that they said. They were efficient and came on time. After they completed the job they completely cleaned up after themselves. When I called them to come recheck the unit for followup they immediately came out. They also did all the legal work required. I am a single, older woman with little knowledge of these units. They explained everything to me and were very patient with my questions. I am very pleased with the service. more

Everything with Bonney Plumbing was really par excellence. Our heater went out in January, and it was freezing. I went with Bonney Plumbing because of their 24 hour service. When the technician looked at it he told us that unfortunately we would need a new heater. He had everything arranged and the new heater was installed within 5 days. It was all done so quickly, really 1, 2, 3. The contractor and two men came out to do the work. I couldn't have been more pleased. They put in a full 8 hours and finished it up the following morning. There was absolutely no silliness or wasted time. The contractor oversaw everything, and it was really amazing to see the level of professionalism they used. I am crazy about their service. The workers were very polite and personable, but not silly. They really wasted no time. There were no loose ends and the followup was great. The whole process was amazing. It was a very big job and I am so pleased and happy about how it turned out. more

I used to have to go outside, but they turned it around so that I only have to go to the garage now. They also put in lines. Everything works well. more

I have used Bonney Plumbing, Heating, Air & Rooter Service twice. The first time they came and replaced a thermocouple and a water heater for me. The young man who came out did a great job. He was thorough, efficient and very personable. When we had them out for a second job, to replace an old water valve, we had a different technician, but it was an equally good experience. Because the house is pretty old, the water valve was quite a bear to get at. He did a really good job with it. We have not had a problem with either projects, and it all works as it is supposed to. I appreciate that Bonney Plumbing is upfront about the cost. I always know what the cost is before they start the project. In fact, they have a booklet that states prices for all different projects. That type of open disclosure really lets me know that they are honest and don't try to pad the bill at all. It is definitely a good value for the money. Stephen Hoover more
