No status updates! 12/20/2013

We were initially told it would take 2 days. Then we were told the parts had to be ordered, so it would be 3-4 days. Then we were told that the wrong part/parts were delivered so it would be another day. Then we were told the part didn't come next day as supposedly shipped. All this time, I had to rent and pay for a rental car, taking it back once only to have to rent another a day or 2 later. The ONLY time we were informed of status was WHEN WE CALLED. Nobody ever called us to let us know it would be longer than originally estimated, hence having returned a rental car too soon. more

Friendly and Honest staff 12/20/2013

Took the "Road Warrior" for service before another 1800 miles trip. Pete was very helpful in advising what was needed to be done before hitting the highway. The work was done in a timely manner with recommendations on what services should be done in the future. more

The staff is incredibly friendly. However, when I went to pick up my car, the diagnostic charge was listed at$198 when I had been quoted $150. Also, I still have a check engine light on and it still runs rough. For a single girl and full time student, this is incredibly inconvenient to be without a car for four days, spending a large amount of money and the problem still not fixed. more

Aspen Auto Clinic on Tutt are true professionals. Everyone who answered the phone knew about my car and who was handling it (office assistant and tech). They kept me informed every step and made every accommodation for my schedule. All work was done quickly and some even early than expected! They also provide the best warranty for a remanufactured transmission (3yr/100K). They have a good AAA discount and even let us combine it with a $20 gift card they had sent. Honestly, they couldn't have done better. Supremely impressed with them. This sounds like a fake review or one I would normally blow off as it's praise is too high but I'm a real human that had a large car issue (radiator and transmission swap) and they really did provide great work and service. The only possible negative I can think of is that I could probably have saved on labor by going with a small shop. But my experience has been that they can take too long to fix your vehicle and not make your car a top priority if you need it to be. In a dual income house with kids I'll pay extra for a guaranteed time table. more

I had a "Check Engine" light on. Aspen Auto Clinic quickly diagnosed the issue with my car, the recommended further action, and resolved the problem in only a couple hours. They also gave me a ride home, and back to the shop. Excellent job. more
