Great bussiness 3/24/2010

I recently purchased a brand new CRV from here. I was very pleased with the sales staff, I easily found the one i wanted and was helped very promptly and i even got a great deal! After driving it for a week or two i noticed that it vibrated on the highway, brakes shook, and seemed to pull to the right on certain roads. I brought it to the service department on a friday afternoon and spoke with cj. He said they were i little backed up but would get to me asap. After about a hour and half wait i got the car back, turns out that the tires needed to be balanced, the rotors were warped, and that the alignment was off. A little concerned since it was a brand new car! I soon found out that all my problems were fairly common and that they were all fixed! The technician even showed me the alignment print out and explained the adjustments. Me knowing nothing about cars my experience here made me feel i was well taken care of. I have not had anymore problems with my CRV and will for sure come the Auto Park Honda again! Pros: service department, sales department Cons: long waiting times in service department more

Great place to buy a car 3/7/2010

When my previous car died, I needed a reliable car, with a reasonable monthly payment. I was between a VW, Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. After a couple of days of talking with sales people over the phone and two in person, where we were treated in the usual car sales way. We went to Autopark Honda in Cary just after lunch on Saturday. We met Peter, a salesman just after we walked in, he asked us what we were interested in and pointed out the differences between the different models, then took us on a test drive. I loved the car, he gave us a good price within 5 minutes and made the whole process very pleasant. Within 3 hours of walking in, we were driving out in a new Honda which I'm loving. Pros: Sales people very helpful Cons: Busy on Sat pm more

Customer Service 1/4/2010

My husband has called once in regards to a service dept. question and Jeff was the one who took the call. Jeff was not helpful and pretty much didn't act like he wanted to assist us at all. I think you should find another job that isn't customer service oriented. Second time called back and once again spoke to someone rather disappointing. Unfortunately he didn't say who he was and that's fine, however the service dept. doesn't seem to truly listen to the customer needs nor do they have a positive attitude. I hope this wont continue because you will lose a lot of customers and in todays economy a business can't afford it! Pros: nothing yet Cons: Poor Customer Service/ Poor listening/ Poor Attitude more

I'm an Auto Park member for life! 11/15/2009

I recently had my car serviced at Auto Park Honda in Cary, and I was reminded, yet again, as to why I will never buy my Honda anywhere else, and most importantly, I will never have my Honda serviced anywhere else. They always greet me with a smile. I've never had to wait any longer than expected for my car. The service is quick and worth every penny. I live in Raleigh and don't mind the drive to Cary because I know I will always walk away satisfied. Pros: where everybody knows your name Cons: they won't do my yardwork :) more

Steer clear and give someone else your money 9/16/2009

We spent hours here on three different occasions. Our first sales rep, Charlie, was nice but when we went back for the third time, we were told he was not there (he was). The new sales rep, Rick, said he wasn't into paying the old car sales games, but that is exactly what he did. Our fourth visit was to buy the car at the agreed upon price, but when we showed up, he wanted another $50. I walked out and left my husband (who was the one purchasing the car) to deal with him. They did drop the price the other $50, but then they wanted to "steal" our trade-in. Mind you, we had received a letter from them saying they were looking for trade-ins such as ours and that it might be worth $4850 or more. They offered $2100 and wouldn't budge. Their reasoning was that it was only in fair condition because there were three different brands of tires on it. Hmm, who looks at that when buying an 8-year old car. The tires were the right size and had good tread on them. My husband came outside to get me and said they wouldn't give him his car keys back (this is an old game). I went back in and the sales rep and manager( Boris) were together and I demanded the keys back (in a loud enough voice that it got others attention). They still wanted us to buy their car but said we should sell our trade-in ourselves. I told them that they were misleading and using the same old sales tricks that we abhor. We left without purchasing. For a dealer who advertised end-of-year clearance prices, their initial price cut was only $700 off the MSRP. They finally agreed to $1700 off. These guys are DISHONEST. Pros: There are none Cons: Dishonest more

I was pleased 7/20/2009

They were extremely friendly. The thing that I liked the most was how predictable they were. I dropped the car off in the evening, they called me in about an hour saying that they had diagnosed the problem and that it would be ready the following afternoon and it would be $480. Sure enough, it was ready when they said and it was $480. I hate waiting in a waiting room for hours after they said it would be done, or being quoted a price that is not inclusive and then paying way more than you thought. I'm not a mechanic but I think the price may have been a little high. I took my honda to my regular mechanic to diagnose the check engine light. He said it was an O2 sensor and it would be $250, but a new O2 sensor didn't fix the problem and he thought it must be a bad computer and told me that I would need to take it to the dealer. The dealer said it was in fact the O2 sensor and that they were using a generic sensor which has trouble interfacing with the honda computer. They charged $480. I don't know where the price difference came from, i.e., the name-brand sensor or the labor. It was more expensive but I was happy. Pros: very friendly Cons: cost more

Great Service 7/14/2009

Everytime we bring our Pilot in they take great care of us. We had a situation were we had to go out of town for a family emergency, but needed service. With no hesitation they got us in and took care of us so we could go were we needed to on time. I could never think of going any place other than this dealership. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a great service experience time after time. I have also used Haddock Collision before with no regrets. Pros: Best service around Cons: They do not have more locations! more

I Agree...their Service Really Stinks! 7/4/2009

We bought a New 2007 Honda Odyssey from Auto Park Honda. A week later, my wife gets clobbered by some lady down in Fuquay-Varina. $8000 in damage. So, assuming that I can get good, qualified guidance from the Dealer, I call to see were we can get the Best Quality Body work, especially since the car was brand new! The service manage tells me to take it to Haddock's Collision Center in Cary (you can see our review of them as well). After weeks of headaches and return trips, we find out that the owner of Haddock's is a ""good friend"" of the Honda Service Manager...imagine that! Since then, we have had several service issues with the van. 99.9% of them cannot be found or resolved by their mechanics. The last trip was for the 3rd or 4th complaint of a vibration while driving. The service writer tells me that it ""must be the tires"". And the big plastic cover under the engine was hanging down, almost to the ground. He told me before in went in to get looked at that ""I Must have Damaged it"".... turns out, several of the push-pins that hold it up were missing. Imagine that. Now, I find out from another shop that the front brake rotors on the van are probably warped, since when I brake, the front-end shakes. (this is at 30,000 miles of use). Wonder how they will respond to this now? Turns out Pros: Nice Salesperson Cons: Very Poor, non-Responsive Service Department more

Terrible service 7/1/2009

I've had my Civic serviced at Autopark Honda a few times, mainly because of location. During my last service, the mechanics neglected to replace one of my lug nuts, which I noticed a couple weeks later. Upon my requesting a new lug nut, my service advisor, Jeff Corbett, argued with me and implied that someone could have stolen it (apparently there are thieves that think it is worth their time to unscrew a single $6 lug nut from a car and take nothing else), or that I could have somehow lost it. He eventually went to talk to his manager (which he should have done in the first place instead of hassling me), who of course gave him the go ahead to give me the part. To summarize: the service department at Autopark Honda Cary is awful. Service is incredibly expensive, the mechanics are apparently careless, and the service reps are completely belligerent and unfriendly. Cons: The service is expensive, service advisors are abrasive more
