Good Dealer, Great Cars, Could Be Better Price 11/5/2007

Have now bought our third honda from Auto Park Honda. Love the vehicles and the dealership is pretty good. Like not having to wait for the "man behind the Mirror" to answer our questions. Wanted an 07 Pilot when Mr. opportunity visited but had sold out by the time we arrived. We did get a nice 08 Pilot but felt that we did not get the best price. Being a repeat customer we felt we deserved a good (or better) deal but did not recieve that. We had an online talk with Southpoint honda and the day we purchased our vehicle they came back with a first offer equal to what we paid. Still love the vehicle and the 2 previous cars wish we got a better deal. Sales man seemed like deal was done after test drive, even though we wanted time to decide. Did get our first oil change free from our sales man! Would return but would take more time to get a better deal or compete with Southpoint! Pros: Great Vehicles, Nice Delaership, Quick service Cons: Pushy Slaes people, little room for negotiation more

Great Honda Dealership Around 9/25/2007

I drove 950 miles one way to buy my car from Auto Park Honda. I may have originally been biased due to a friend working there, but I know now bias has nothing to do with how great this Honda Dealership is. The people are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy that work there. They give excellent service and help, not just when you purchase a vehicle, but throughout the life of your vehicle. I purchased my Honda Accord in 1999 and even though I do not live in the Raleigh area now, I can still call them for advice or assistance on anything regarding my Honda. Great place and highly recommended!!! Pros: Everything About Them Cons: Too far from where I live now to trade when I want a new Honda more

Great Honda Dealership Around 9/25/2007

Buyer Beware 8/20/2007

Be caeful when car shopping here. Every time you turn around, they say ""One more thing..."". I recently bought a 2008 Honda Pilot through them. Although, if it were my decision, we would have walked away from the deal, but my wife had her heart set on that car.\r \r First off, let me mention that my employer has a deal, which gets me a set price on the car, so their was no negotiating involved. That said, the set price is a pretty good deal. Anyway, what Autopark Honda then did was try to make back the money they lost on the deal through financing. They originally told me they could match any interest rate I got from a bank. So I asked them to give me their best rate. There best rate was very high, so I told them that I could get a much cheaper loan through E-Loan. They said fine, and that I should go through E-Loan. I did just that. E-loan by the way has been great through this whole experience. I received the check from E-Loan and went in to pick up our new car. Then then told me I could get the car that day if I let them finance me at the higher rate. I was able to get E-Loan on the phone to talk to the general manager, and the general manager would not talk to the people at E-Loan.\r \r Also, numerous times, their finance guy has told me he would be workling today, only for me to find out when I called today that he has the day off.\r \r Basically what has happened here, is I got a great deal on the car through my employer. Autopark Honda did everything in their power to recoupe the cost of the car through high financing, and when I tried to pay for it throgh anothe bank, they refused only to offer me a much higher interest rate.\r \r The issue I have, is they knew 5 days in advance that we were coming in with the E-Loan check. If there was a problem they should have told us then.\r \r Beware, this dealer is the typical car salesman and they will do everythign in their power to screw you. Pros: Good Quality Automobiles Cons: They Do not care about Customer Satisfaction. It's all about how much money they can get out of you more

We recently bought a car from here. The dealer, Bill Hapgood, was extremely helpful and always prompt at returning our calls. We never felt haggled, only at ease. He really worked with us and helped us to drive home in our new (used) car! We had also been helped by another gentleman named Byron who was equally helpful and non-pressuring. I believe car-shopping shouldn't be such a headache (as it often is) and a shopper should be allowed to do just that...and shoppers often need to browse. I truly felt we were given that privilege by these two gentleman and our experience was free of stress! Kudos! Pros: Friendly service Cons: took a long time for financing more

I really wanted to buy a Odyssey from Autopark Honda a couple of months ago. My wife and I stopped by several times. There were 3 times that I stopped over because the salesperson was able to locate a used one or a fully-loaded model. The one time that they did have a model, they sold it between the time that we were called by the salesperson and by the time we could look at the vehicle. We could put in a higher offer... There were other dealerships in Charlotte that had multiple vehicles on the lot. I just wish that I could have found a local dealer with class. more
