Okay let me start by saying this place is totally chic. Round Rock has been needing a hip, trendy, funky place like this for years. I love MY COLOR. Melissa Rocks. But at the same time I saw all the other stylists doing awesome stuff too. Everyone was super friendly and offering drinks, and smiles, and laughs. If I could just live there I would. They gave me a tour of the spa area, and I can NOT wait to have a facial, and massage. Totally urban funky, I just love this place. I won't go anywhere else. :) Thank you to everyone at Salon Ciao Bella. Pros: a fabulous new hang out in round rock. Go make some new friends! Cons: Getting in with Melissa is hard, pre book, or try the other stylists, like i said, they do great things too. :) more

First let me say, I called and did not ask prices. I am a single mom, and i figured I deserved to treat myself every once in a while. When I walked in Salon Ciao Bella, I became alittle worried. I thought I would totally have to take money out of my kids college funds. I sat down in Melissa's Chair, and she did my color. It turned out amazing, I just love it. Lisa did my cut, and style out., and I can honestly say its the best cut I have ever had in my life. When I went to check out, I held my breathe because I was so nervous. But believe it or not, it was CHEAPER then the horrible places I ususally go too. This was not just a color and a cut, it was an experience. I loved everyone there, and you can truely tell all the girls love their job. The price was perfect for me, so now I am hooked. Thank you Ciao Bella. Your a lighthouse for women. I have been Melissa's client now for about 3 years. SHE TOTALLY ROCKS with Color. My hair has never been so FABULOUS. NOW they have expanded and I went to the massage Theripst on saturday. Her name is Theresa. OMG, I will never leave now. Not only do I get the most fabulous head massage when I get my hair done, the place is beautiful. I swear its like a salon in New York , or LA. Melissa called Theresa Magic, and she is. I literally felt every ounce of tension and stress drain out of my body. My whole self felt like i was walking on clouds when she was done. You have to check this place out. IT is amazing. If this salon were a man, he would be perfect, and I would be in love forever. They treat you like your a queen from the minute you walk in, to the minute you walk out. Go no where else. This is the ultimate. Pros: The most beautiful upscale salon and spa I have ever seen. Cons: It's very hard to get an appointment with Melissa. But the other girls are good too. :) more

I have been to salons in New York, and L.A, this salon by far beats ALL of them hands down. Melissa did my color and cut, and I have never ever been happier with my hair. She is sweet, and loveable, there is nothing snobby or uptight about her. I have gotten compliements everywhere I go. The girls that work there have added some much needed class to Round Rock. I am so impressed, I am telling everyone. They are expanding as well, adding massage, and facials, and pedicures. I am so going to be living there. If you do ONE THING for YOU, go try them....you won't be sorry. IT IS JUST ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!!!! Pros: not one person was rude, everyone was just adorable, and friendly. Cons: It took four weeks to get in with Melissa, but well worth the wait. more

I have been in this area for a long time now and have not been able to find a salon and stylist that I like, until i went to Salon Ciao Bella. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I walked in the door and was acknowledged by the receptionist and offered a drink. then as soon as i sat down Lisa was ready for my highlights and cut. Then when it was time to rinse i got the best head message ever! When i was finished with that and went back to Lisa's chair i got a great haircut that i didn't have to work to hard to style it and make it look good, It looked good on its own. I was just in shocked that the color was exectaly what i asked for and more!!! Because of the great service and her busy schedule i went ahead and booked out my holiday appointment and some for the start of the new year so that i know i will be able to get in to see her!! I would recommed this salon to anyone and everyone!! Salon Ciao Bella, and Lisa, are AMAZING so call and book with her now i promise you will love her too!! It is so nice to have such a fabulous salon in Round Rock!! I have been going to Melissa for over two years now, and I would follow her to the ends of the earth for her to do my hair. She is BY FAR the best colorist I have ever been to and I always have people compliment my "natural" hair color...ha ha!! more

The girls at Salon Ciao Bella really know how to make you feel good. I was feeling kinda depressed, my hair was flat, and it would not do anything. You know how your mood kinda reflects your hair?? My hair looked dumpy if that tells you anything about how I was feeling. I made an appointment. I got in and was schelduled with Melissa. God totally put me in her chair. My hair has never looked better, and oh my goodness, she was so sweet and amazing. Everyone there was great. It reminded me of going to the beauty shop with my grandma when I was little. Everyone talked to each other, even clients engaged in conversations. I loved it, and I have found my new salon home. Thank you everyone at Salon Ciao Bella. God is going to bless you girls!!!!! They're AWESOME. I've never felt this satisfied about my hair. I had haircut and relaxing with Tiffany, a haircut with Shelly and they both are awesome!!!! I've tried so many different hair salons in different states, even the most expensive i've paid didnt give me satisfaction. Ciao Bella is definitely worth your money! more

Melissa has been doing my hair for about two years now. She is an expert at color. You sit in her chair, she pretty much tells you what would look spectacular on you. If you let her do it, like I did. I swear you will get more compliments then you have ever had. I don't go anywhere without getting positive comments on my hair, and how it makes me look younger. All the girls at this Salon Rock. They are hip, and fun, but most of all friendly. Once you try them, you will never go anywhere else. Pros: Beautiful clean atmosphere. They mix the color right in front of you. Its amazing. Cons: Melissa is really booked, you have to call in advance. more

I have been Melissa's client for over two years now, my name is also Melissa. I have to say when she decided to make the move to Salon Ciao Bella, I was worried, ..I am not a creature that adapts well to change. BUT, and this is a huge BUT, when I walked into the salon today....I had to take a deep breath, the salon is FABULOUS. Absolutely amazing. Round Rock has nothing like it....to be honest...I don't even think Austin has anything close. This salon is way above any expectations I had. She told me about it....tried to get me excited, but nothing could have compared...to actually seeing it. NOW,... not only do I get the best stylist in all of TEXAS....I get to be in the best salon in TEXAS. From the friendly receptionist greeting me at the front....to the shampoo girl , giving me the best head massge i have ever received , I was AMAZED. I am just so excited about it.....I think its the best decision ever made on her part. Now my hair results match the atmosphere.....it deserves 10 stars...but it will only let me give it 5!!!!!!!!! I can not say enough great things about Salon Ciao Bella!!! I have never had people compliment me on my hair until I started having Melissa do my cuts and color. Not only are the stylists professional and are experts in color matching and hair care, but they actually listen to you! Melissa and Tiffany (the owners) make sure that each client talks about their ideas or desires for their hair. Then they combine their expert knowledge and skill and together the best result is achieved!! I absolutely love this salon! I feel relaxed after being pampered and confident with my new hair each time I leave. What a combination! I highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants fabulous hair. more

I love Salon Ciao Bella. For someone as picky as I am they met all of my standards!!! In fact I have never gone to any other salon more than once. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, you are nothing but pampered. Great receptionists, Awesome stylists and a really relaxing atmosphere. I usually hate going to the salon because usually the stylists have 10 colors in their hair, big heavy jewelry and overdone make-up. At this Salon they really listen to your needs and give you exactly what you want. If you want a stylist that is real come to Salon Ciao Bella!!!!!!!!!!!! Dazzled is the only word to describe my experience at Ciao Bella! From the moment I walked through the front door of this posh but comfortable salon I knew I would be in for a treat and wasn't disappointed. The stylists were friendly and professional but not at all stuffy. Tiffany and Melissa (the two owners) have somehow managed to merge the atmosphere of a high end Dallas salon with the down to earth funkiness that makes all of us love Austin. Oh, and did I mention my new hair cut and color? OMG - I have never had so many compliments! They use only the lastest Paul Mitchell haircolor and Melissa seems to just have a vision of what will make even the most hair challenged of us look fabulous. My cut is classic with a funky edge and the color - Wow! I've had people say it makes me look ten years younger. The salon stays busy, but Kayla - the sweet and ultra professional receptionist - went out of her way to make sure I got an appointment time to fit my schedule. I can't believe I found this place! Well worth the drive from Austin! I'll never go anywhere else! more

I have never wrote a review before, but I had to come online and tell everyone how awesome this salon is. I had the best experience ever here. My hair turned out fabulous, and I will never go anywhere else. Melissa is Fabulous, and she even gave me a 4 week supply of shampoo and conditioner to try before I spent money on the product she reccommended. YOU will love it, you have to go and try them out. We just moved here from California. One of my concerns was finding an excellent new salon. This salon is very modern and the staff was very friendly and professional. I was able to get into see Melissa, and my fiance saw Shelly. We both left the salon feeling like movie stars. It was by far the best haircuts we have ever received. I also had my hair colored. It is the most beautiful rich color. I have really bad psoriasis on my scalp. Melissa was able to use a specific type of product that completely made my scalp 200% better. My fiance and I absolutely loved this salon and the people inside it. We would highly recommend this salon to everyone. Pros: Great Salon, Wonderful Friendly Staff Cons: NONE!!!!!!!!!! more

Tiffany and the girls are so good. It's like being in a posh downtown salon, but with reasonable prices. The service is a great and the atmoshere is awesome. I highly recommend it, even worth the drive from Austin. more

This gal has a gift! I have been do different salons all around Round Rock looking for someone to tame my half wavy, half poofy hair. Until today no one had quiet done that. I read the reviews here and thought I would give it a shot. I am so glad I did. Shelly did a GREAT job on my hair. I will be returning again! If Salon Ciao Bella was striving for good first impressions, they achieved their goal! When I checked for Salons in Round Rock, there were no comments for this salon on City Search yet, but I was intrigued by Tiffany's introduction saying she was proud to invite people to her new salon. This pride in ownership is evident the minute you walk in. The salon is has a great feel, tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. Tiffany gave me a warm welcome, a relaxing shampoo with an unexpected neck massage, and a fantastic affordable cut , plus she answered all my questions about hair products with confidence, but without pressure. Having my brows waxed was like a little mini-spa experience with a nice private room to lay back and relax to the softly playing music. She was so gentle I never felt any discomfort! I'd been going to my former salon for years. Although I was nervous about making a switch, I was tired of the rushed back to back appointments, spritzing the head with some water and ignoring the customers while talking with co-workers. What a different experience this was. I even received a thank you card for my business! I'm so glad I found Tiffany and Salon Ciao Bella, I'm recommending her salon to everyone I know!
