I have been going to Melissa for 2 years now. She always know exactly what to do with my hair and hairstyle. She remembers how I like to part my hair and she is always willing to try something new on my hair. Melissa is willing to try colors and highlights that dont always sound normal, but she tries it and makes it work for me and my electic tastes. Melissa is an amazing woman who is open, funny, bright and caring. And an amazing hairdresser to boot! I wont go to anyone else now, and I recommend her to all my friends. Melissa is also doing my wedding and my hair for my bridal shots. I know I can put my faith in Melissa to help me have a wonderful day. I have seen Tiffany before and had her do some pretty extensive things to my hair. I was there most of the day. NOT only did she do an awesome job, but she made me very comfortable. She really knows what she's doing and makes sure she does what it is you are wanting. No guess work! I would and do recommend to everyone I know to go to Salon Ciao Bella. First of all I am not a high maintance, salon going girl. I go to the salon about once every three months for a trim. I sat in Melissa's chair, she was reccommended to me by a co worker. I told her i wanted to change my hair, that i was in a rut. She asked how often i would return, and how i styled out my hair everyday. Ask me what I do for a living, and totally created georgeous hair for me that will only have an every three month up keep. i love my hair...ALOT. Which is kinda weird for me...cause usually I really don't get into stuff like that. I loved Melissa, she was very down to earth....and super friendly. I will be back. The atmoshere is very relaxing as well, I loved the decor. Pros: A fantastic experience Cons: I booked my next appointment, and they reccommended I book the next few. I saw Diana on saturday, and she is Awesome. I just fell in love with her. She was wearing a cute little hat...and she totally matched the whole french feel of the salon. The owners were extremely friendly too. One was alittle strange...singing and dancing, but she was funny. :) I will never go anywhere else. My sister in law had been searching for a salon in round rock,we were kind of scared as everyone else to try some one new since we just moved from California.well, ladies let me tell you that i loved mt freaking hair and so did my sister in law!!! My whole family has been going to see Melissa for our hair for years. Even before Salon Ciao Bella. She is great with my husband and I, and with our children. We could never go anywhere else. The salon is beautiful. She not only does our hair fabulous, but she teaches the girls. How much to use, and about damage that flat irons can do if not properly protected. Everyone is great and friendly there. You have to check them out for yourself. Don't let the few bad reviews fool you. You can not please everyone 100% of the time, but this salon is almost perfect. I liked my stylist, but when I called back she wasn't there anymore; nor would anyone give me her number. I was talked into going with another stylist who did a good job, but when I called back she was no longer there either. I am frustrated! I don't want to have to have a new stylist every time I go, or talk to a snooty person on the phone, just because I want my old stylist back! Pros: Beautiful salon Cons: They keep firing my stylist and are rude about when I want to get back in with them! Plus they're expensive! more

Beware of the enzymes treatment - it will ruin your hair. It has taken months for my hair to grow back. Staff is nice but I would not recommend the hair treatments. more

Salon Cia Bella has been the best "hair experience" of my life. I thought the only choices for my fine hair were drying it out with highlights, or letting it go "natural" (which in my case is going naturally silver). Enter Salon Cia Bella, which used a product that naturally lightened my hair while keeping it healthier than ever. Also, they worked with the natural curl in my hair and designed and cut that has gotten my many compliments......and it is so easy to style! I'll drive to Round Rock any day for this kind style. The "enzymes" they offer are found in very few Austin Salons. I've heard the process is fairly new and comes from California. more

I have been going to Melissa even before she was at Salon Ciao Bella and she is terrific. My hair always looks and feels great when I leave there. I will not go to another Salon. Everyone at this salon is so nice and professional. Thanks Melissa!! YOU ROCK!!!!! more

Last word I would ever use to describe this place is classy. They over processed my color, literally melted my hair, then hid it by curling it before I left. This place is a real joke. Not recommended to anyone, unless you want need a bad experience to add to your list. more

Well, I am that girl who wants to change her hair color twice a year...red, blonde, brunette, black and the occasional off the wall color or highlights. I did my own hair for many years until I had bleached it so blonde it was platinum, I then for some dumb reason dyed it black. I hated it after the first two weeks. I went to a long time stylist and she made my hair look even worse. So I called Tiffany. Not only did she begin to fix the condition of my hair but she got it from black to blonde in less than a year without frying one strand. She was absolutely amazing in all the work she put in to make my hair the way I wanted it. She always had wonderful advice and tips for me. Not to mention when I specify how long I want my hair to be that is how long it will be after the cut and when it dries... not like any other stylists I've had before. I adore Salon Ciao Bella. The atmosphere and decor, the service and the staff! Kayla up front is too sweet and extremely helpful all the time! Others ask me to go to other salons and hair-cutting places and I just refuse to let anyone but Tiffany do it! The other girls at the Salon are all super nice and knowledgeable, I know Melissa's chair is next to Tiff's and the client on Saturday when I was there almost cried when she saw her hair she was so happy! They offer a wide and wonderful array of pampering services and it is definitely worth the trip to Round Rock!! Make your appointment in advance, they book up quickly, because they are just THAT good!!! Pros: Great Staff, atmosphere, decor. Excellent results and satisfaction! I can not begin to say what a wonderful place Salon Ciao Bella is!!! Melissa is great! This past weekend I got highlights and these are the BEST highlights I've ever had! She knows exactly what she's doing and does it best! I would highly recommend Salon Ciao Bella to everyone! No matter what part of town you live in, it's well worth the drive!!! Thanks Melissa!! i have been to ciao bella half a dozen times now to see regina, my nail tech and hair stylist. i get so many compliments on my nails and hair!! i love the way regina focuses on beautifying me while we chat and share life experiences. i have been her customer for a couple of years and followed her to this salon. the salon itself is amazing! the decor is tantalizing--so much to see and feel; from purses, jewelry and clothes to one of a kind lamps and wall decor. there is a quiet and serene part of the salon where facials, massages and body wraps are done. melissa( an owner) has created a stylish and chic salon where i feel spoiled and pampered. once when i was getting my hair cut and colored, there were 5 or so other clients in the same room and the conversation flowed between us and the staff. there was an easy commraderie between all of us. from the sweetest gal who answers the phone to my personal favorites, regina and melissa--if you come to his remarkable establishment i hope you feel as blessed as i do to be a part of this family of beautifiers. I called a week ago, to get in with Melissa but her scheldule was full for a few weeks, so i opted to go with a different person. My hair was done by a girl named Diane. She was very sweet and I do love my hair. I am extremely pleased with this salon. It was very clean, and organized. The owner made sure to talk to me, and she made me feel very comfortable. I became a new client of Melissa's about a year ago. I called the salon and said I need a haircut and highlights. I wasn't sure who they were going to send me to, but feel very lucky that Melissa was the one. She always cuts and highlights my hair exactly how I want it. She gives suggestions when I ask, and they are always great ones!! I have never been unhappy with her and enjoy the time I get to spend in the salon. The head/neck massage that she gives when washing hair is worth the double the price of the whole service. I walk out of the salon relaxed and feeling pretty. I wouldn't go anywhere else! I went there for the first time about a week ago. I read ALL of Melissa's reviews and was EXTREMELY excited to see her! I am not from here and have been longing for a salon that I could call my own!! She rushed through my foils like she was being timed. I was turned backwards where I couldn't see ANYTHING she was doing. I was not so happy when I left but now that I'm home and have washed it a couple times I HATE IT! It's almost like it was NEVER done. My roots are already showing and my bangs are fried!!!! Don't let the fake smiles and the enviornment fool you, she is not worth her prices! Pros: good idea BUT Cons: Not at all what it's cracked up to be! more

Okay, so I was feeling old and droopy. Needed something new. I read the reviews on here, and waited 4 weeks to get an appointment with Melissa. I sat in her chair today, and told her to just do her thing, and I gave her full authority to perk me up, and make me feel better. I had been wearing my hair the same way for 25 years. She did not let me look in the mirror. She did a color, highlight, and a shorter, flippy cut on me. After just two hours, she was done, and she turned me around to let me see what she had done. It was the most amazing, modern cut and color. But it was still age appropriate. I just love my new hair. My husband flipped for it. Even my teenage daughter smiled and said, "omg MOM, don't ever go to anyone else, you look so good." Now that is a miracle. They pamper you with an amazing head massage as well. I have been searching for 7 years. I am from Oregon, and I had the same stylist for 16 years. I have been hoping around from one salon to another, on a search for someone who could get my color right. I read the reviews on here to all the salons. I live in Round Rock, and thought, well, I have been to all the Austin salons, why not try. I booked an appointment, had to wait 4 weeks. Got in to see Melissa. I must say, I truely cried when I saw the final outcome of my hair. After all these years, I have found a salon, and a stylist that listens, and truely takes care of their clients. From the minute I walked in, to the minute I walked out....i felt nothing but sincere caring. I loved everyone.
