Outstanding service from the crew that installed our new unit. 10/19/2010

The crew that provided the installation of our new air/heating unit at 7031 Hidden Hills North was probably the most professional crew that has ever done any work for me during the over 23+ years here in San Antonio. They were not only very friendly, personable, and cooperative, but very professionaly and carried our the image that John Wayne woud like all employees to emulate. Everyone was great and I commend them all! more

Great Service with a Smile 10/19/2010

I just wanted to say that I used Jon Wayne for air conditioner repair last year. I also used them for air conditioner replacement this year. They have always been outstanding in the customer service department. The techs are very good at what they do. I was able to get a new system and the process was painless. I also got the HVAC tax credit. The financing program was very good and the finance people are very friendly also. I have lived in North San Antonio in Elm Creek for 12 years, have had several San Antonio air conditioning repair companies out to my home. Jon Wayne is the Best I have seen. I recommend them highly. more

You are a company that does not forget it's most important thing, the customer. If the customer is satisfied, they will keep coming back but when you start getting sloppy, your company will go away. The most important person the customer will go somewhere else. Hang in there. Southwest airline is becoming or already is the number one airline. They don't forget who got them there, the customer. This month I hope we start cleaning out our present government. They don't listin to us anymore so the people are upset and they are going to change it. I hope that is the way they feel. It is the way I feel. I want to throw up every time I see them on TV and I turn them off. Have a great day and support and pray for our soldiers and there families. more

Dishonest- will take your money 10/18/2010

My ac went out about a year ago and my wife called Jon Wayne. They came out and told me my blower wheel was damaged. They installed a new one and signed my wife up to a 14.95 a month fee for warranty and check ups!!! Never came for check ups and when the ac wheel failed again and in less than a year they said it was the motor!!! I called 2 other ac companies and both told me the wheel was installed improperly, one asked if I installed it myself!!!Called Jon Wayne back and told them. There response was to refund my 14.95 a month charge.... They did nothing to earn that money in the first place, no service inspections and no warranty!!! Then they refused to fix the problem that they caused!!! Would not and will not use this horrible company again!!!! more

Dishonest- will take your money 10/18/2010

My ac went out about a year ago and my wife called Jon Wayne. They came out and told me my blower wheel was damaged. They installed a new one and signed my wife up to a 14.95 a month fee for warranty and check ups!!! Still waiting 10/16/2010

When we first bought our system we were very pleased with the service we experienced. So much so that we purchased an extended service plan. Since then we have been put off and ignored. The plan included scheduled maintenance that we have yet to receive. When we schedule something we have been put off and made to be rescheduled. We were assured that we were the first appointment of the day only to be told that they got busy and would see us later in the week after missing their scheduled appointment. I was told that I would be contacted by the owner only to be ignored. I would not recommend their service to my worst enemy. more

UNSATISFACTORY 9/4/2010

My 5 year old AC unit went out in JUne 2010 and I called John Wayne to for help. The technician did not rush out to my house and I spent over 4hours in 90degree temperatures. The technician was very dishonest and told me that I would need to spend over $3,000 to get it up and running and after he found out that I would not be paying such an outrageous amount he mentioned he could get it up and running for $300.00. A month and a half went by and my unit went out again, this time the I called first thing in the morning and expressed my disappointment with my unit going down again in less than two months. I was told that they would arrive sometime before 2pm the arrived about 2:50pm. They made me wait over 6 hours in a 90 degree home; not only that, they could not explain why the AC had stopped working so soon after a $300.00 repair. ONce again I received the same ole we will fix it for 3-5k speech. I am ver disappointed about the dishonest displayed by the John Wayne technicians. I am out of $600.00 with no explanation as to what is wrong. All I received was we can basically put in a brand new system for X number of dollars. You can bet I WILL be reporting this company to the Better BUsiness Bureau with a complete listing of times,dates names and the complete situation. The public needs to be aware of unprofessional technicians and dishonest companies. more

He assisted me in finding the best system for my money. The installers were the same professional courteous from beginning to end. I felt safe and secure the whole time they were there. Jon Wayne heating and A/c deserves all the credit for the way they train and hire the best of the best. I am truly happy and overwhelmed with this great system. FIVE STARS IS NOT enough! they deserve ten!! more

i have been without AC for days, and i have been waiting for another company to come out. still waiting by the way. called Jon Wayne and they were here today and got it working today. they gave me several options and i might still need a new unit, but no pressure. will use and sign up for their service. excellent customer service Pros: fast and courteous more
