Compressor would not turn on. 1st visit Tech said new compressor Called for 2nd Opinion 6/13/2011

Chris came out on the 2nd opinion call and actually trouble shooted the problem. Ended up being a faulty start up kit. He replaced it and is working great. Chris is a great asset to your company and should be acknowledge for his abilities in troubleshooting problems and fixing them. more

Jason Rabel came out to inspect and fix the unit at my house. He did a great job and did a really good job with informing me of my options after attempting to fix the unit. He installed a start capacitor and a relay but didn't wire the switch correctly to actually use the start capacitor and relay that he just put in. I don't think it was his fault or done intentionally but I did analyze the unit after he came and I figured out that the wiring wasn't configured correctly. Everything works great now and he did a fine job. I will still recommend you guys to anyone needing assistance. more

Worst AC Repair Company in San Antonio 6/3/2011

Brand new customer that requested a yearly maintenance on A/C unit. First, company gives you a FOUR HOUR WINDOW to wait around for them. Then, they call you with 15 minutes to spare to say their technician has 'run into a snag' and that they don't know when they'll finish, but 'you're the next customer!'. I re-scheduled for two days later, and believe or not, had the EXACT SAME THING HAPPEN AGAIN. I will never, EVER use Jon Wayne for AC repair and I hope this message will rightfully inform other customers about what to expect. more

Poor and dishonest service 5/27/2011

We had an appt for between 4 and 8. At 4:37 we received a call from Teido saying the technician was on the way. At 4:41 we missed a call and they left a message saying they were calling to confirm our Appt. At 5:30, no one is here. We call back in. They now say we don't have an Appt because we didn't confirm the Appt. WHAT?!?!! U had an Appt at 4, And u WAIT until 4:41 to confirm?? We already talked to Teido, WHY would we have to confirm AGAIN??!?! Now Teido (who's name I could never guess at UNLESS HE GAVE IT TO ME!!!) and he says he "doesn't recall talking to us". Now says they dont know if they can get anyone out here tonite. CAlled back and talked to Megan, and she says she doesn't know who the manager is, who the owner is, who her boss is, and says she's not allowed to give that information out. Said I can only talk to Teido, who has already proved himself a liar to us, yea that's who I want to talk to..... We were looking to have our unit repaired and purchase a warranty. Not sure I want locked in to a warranty if they can't be honest about simple things like call logs.... more

Having a service contract with them has saved us a lot of money and that is very important to everyone, but especially older people on a fixed income. I am very comfortable with the fact that should our cooling unit break down during one of our long hot summers we will get prompt and excellent service from Jon Wayne. more
