I had a repairman come in to service an issue I was having on my Philips Lcd tv. I explained the problems I was having and the repairman took a look. Seems as if my tv decided to be a little shy, because the issues seemed to be gone. I asked the repairman to just give it a few minutes. He was dismissive, rude, unfriendly and had absolutely no personality. He couldn't leave my house faster. He couldn't find the problem and told me that he couldn't fix what he can't see, which is understandable. He was inching towards the stairs as I attempted to try to make the tv show its symptoms again. He left. I turned my tv off, 10 minutes later I turn it on and have picture but no audio-something I told the man that the tv was prone to do.
I called Aid and was met with a rather unfriendly, rude, unprofessional woman named Debbie. I explained my issue to her and asked if she could possibly get the repairman back, considering he had only left less than 15 minutes ago. I told her about his demeanor and how was he was trying to leave. She put me on hold in mid sentence,came back, and told me that she just spoke to the tech and I'd have to call back in the morning.
I couldn't understand why I'd have to wait another day due to someones unsatisfactory performance. This woman became increasingly rude and agitated. I said that this was ridiculous and she scoffed ""Ridiculous, that's a nice word"". I asked her why she was being so rude and she went off, telling me that I was the rude one and went on and on. I told her, I'm not cursing at you, defaming you in any way, yelling at you, or even blaming you...so how am I being rude? She continued with her disgusting attitude, I commented on her lack of customer service skills. Conveniently, a manger won't be able to speak to me until the morning because 'they're on the road""
What a disgusting excuse for a business. If I conducted myself in that manner at my place of employment, I would not have a job. I can't believe that this place has been allowed to continually treat people with such utter disregard. I missed a day of work and all I got was the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I am still shocked.
