Was forced to use this company when my brand new Air Conditioner was having trouble. I didn't mind waiting a week for service, what I did mind is that they guy stuffs foam in the A/C, tells me the machine is crap, and that should do it, sign here. A couple of weeks later the unit is worse. I call to make another appointment, wait another week. Day of I miss their morning call by complete accident. Call right back and am told my appointment is cancelled. The woman who answers the phone is quick to be mean. The gentleman she transferred me to is sarcastic. None of which resolved the situation. I was treated so horribly for missing a phone call. They won't tell you when they will call to confirm an appointment, nor will they give you a window of time they might come. Perhaps I'm the only one with a job, but this is really hard for a customer. No matter how much I tried to convey that I had taken the day off, I was given quips about getting a landline or sit by the phone next time. Why engage customers in this manner. I would never speak to people the way they spoke to me, nor feel happy my customer missed an appointment they waited a week for. Even the best Doctors in New York will have some compassion and try to fit you in. Canceling an appointment after your customer takes a day of is unfair. Their response is that the driver had already left with the paperwork. Okay, let's say that is true, I pleaded if some thing changed and a technician was in my area to please call me. They said no. They seem to feel righteous about the ability to give and take away appointments. If you have to use this company because of a warranty agreement make sure the product is really fixed as best you can, they don't like having to come back and would prefer to do big refrigerator repairs instead. It might seem like no big deal reading a paragraph of some one who missed a call and took the day off... but what if you took an entire day off, and then nothing. I get to spend my day now writing negative reviews. Next time, they should think of their customer first, and their rules second. It's an air conditioner, not a walk in freezer.
