We had a clogged bathroom sink drain that only got worse when I tried to unclog it myself. I called Roto Rooter. The plumber, Jesse, arrived in less than 1 hour. He gave me a free estimate on the spot. I agreed to the job and he honored my internet coupon ($40 off). He started immediately. It was a bad clog and it took over an hour for him to snake it out. He took his time and did a great job (didn't rush or take shortcuts). He was courteous and explained everything he was doing and didn't mind answering my questions. He also made some helpful suggestions on how to prevent problems in the future. When he was done he took the time to clean up. I'm very satisfied. more

Hey, Tremont is a great historic neighborhood in Cleveland, Ohio. However, my home, like many others, is OLD (about 100). No surprise that I began to have toilet drainage problems! Couldn't contact Ghost Busters, so I got on the phone and called Roto-Rooter. Al and Johnathon came out, assessed the problem, discussed the details with me, and went right to work. It was a dirty job, but somebody had to do it, and believe me, they did! Afterwards, they did a terrific clean-up job (and with a smile, no less!). If you want excellent service, call Roto-Rooter. To say that I was less than pleased was an understatement, especially since I had just had the disposal replaced two years earlier. I was afraid that with the holiday and the short notice, that I was going to have a nightmare of a time both setting up the appointment and paying the bill. The next morning, Roto Rooter confirmed my appointment and sent John to the house. He was friendly, professional and took the time to explain to me what he was doing. He showed me where the previous plumber had been negligent, and broke down the process of both repairing/replacing/or replumbing the sink. Panic set in after my attempt to relocate the kitchen drain turned into a much bigger job. What should have been a simple cut into the existing 2 inch galvanized drain pipe to add pvc pipe with a fernco went awry after the metal pipe easily pulled out of the basement floor exposing a 5 inch ceramic opening. Of course this was Saturday evening. After googling several DIY sites for a solution I flipped through the yellow pages and found a plumber that was available on Sundays and at no extra charge. Dennis, employee #3725, arrived promptly after phoning ahead. He offered a solution that was inline with my prior research and after agreeing on the price began digging up the basement floor to expose the ceramic pipe and properly joined it to modern pvc. After back filling with pea gravel then covering with a new layer of concrete he cleaned up the area making it look new. Thankyou Dennis for fixing my problem and adding a bit of modernization to my 111 year old house. more

The plumber's name was Derrick. He was very professional. He called ahead to let me know what time he would be here and he was on time. He was able to figure out immediately what the problem was once I informed him of what was happening (and what wasn't happening) in my kitchen. He explained to me thoroughly what was needed, how long it would take and how much it would cost. He fixed the problem very thoroughly and cleaned up the mess immediately thereafter. We had our roof done and no sooner than that was finished did we notice our upstairs toilets behaving in a very strange fashion. They both backed up and could not be plunged, although the water drained after a while. The water level in the toilets was very low and much air seemed to be involved. We asked the roofer to take a look to see if something had fallen in the stack. He said no. I told my husband to call the plumber. We called Roto-rooter plumbers in Cleveland OH. They were out and assessed the situation within a couple of hours. It required them cutting access to the stack and cleaning it out. They had to work in tight conditions because our ""68 Caddy is parked in the garage and the stack was in front of it. I believe that John 2723 and Mike 229 fixed the problem and were very kind. They dealt with our three dogs and were so nice and caring with them. Our invoice number is 16489290. They were running behind this night, but called to let me know this information. When John arrived, he quickly assessed the situation and let us know that our main sewer line was backed up. On a very rainy evening following a very rainy day, I went down into our basement only to discover 5 inches of water on the ground. It was 8:00 in the evening, past regular business hours, so I called Roto-Rooter right away! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because it took them until midnight to arrive, by which time the water had risen even higher. They did, however, give me a call to let me know they were running behind that night, which was great. John arrived and was a lifesaver! He informed us our main sewer line was backed up and then cleared it out for us. He was able to give us suggestions for other services we could invest in in the future to prevent this from happening again. I would recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone! They were especially great since they arrived after midnight and were there until about 2 am. Thank you!!! more
