Way too over-priced. $375.00 to put in a 4 inch pipe to repair a leak on a water line is ridiculous. 8/7/2015

i felt like I was gouged. It was a simple leak in a straight water line. He placed a 4 inch pipe on the line to patch it up. the charge was $375.00. I thought he was joking at first. I had an earlier repair job in Mar for a frozen pipe. He replaced the shut-off valve and repaired the pipe for $365.00 so I thought this repair would have been reasonable. Once he gave me the estimate I was already out $80.00, so at that point I felt I had to go along with it. I'm pretty sure I will not call on Mr. Plumber again. It was pretty insulting that the repairman after quoting this ridiculous estimate said, "and that is with the discount." more

MyPlumber came through for me again 8/7/2015

This is the second time in less than one year that MyPlumber came through for me to handle promptly a plumbing emergency. This time, I called at 6:00 a.m. to report that my bath tub faucet had broken down so badly that I could not slow down, much less shut off the water except through the main valve for the entire house from the boiler room. All MyPlumber employees from the operator who took my call, to the one who scheduled the appointment and followed up with a call to let me know that the plumber was on his way, to the plumber who quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem--they all did a great job. more

Bad experience 8/7/2015

The tech was not helpful in fixing the simple problem. In stead, he was trying to sale a new unit of more than $3000. It just needed a starter to help jump the compressor, costing less than $100. more

More interested in selling than repairing 8/7/2015

I called for a repair and the service person came to sell me a new unit. Overpriced, ended up having the work done by another company which I was very pleased with. more

Service call for condensation 8/7/2015

Service call was prompt, thanks. My feeling about serv.ice price was over charge $253.00 just for a very short time. Technican remove furnace door & did not put back properly, their by cause the A/C not to come on. I had to call air condition company to come , thus had to pay $89.00. Should I expect any compensation. Like to hear from you on this matter. Thank you more

As it were...a plumber was in my neighborhood finishing up another job. Hence, he was at my home within 15 mins. of my service call. Now, that is response! He repaired my disposal quickly and was on his way. Good experience! more

The representative came about well pressure unit - replaced but was able to establish that there was a problem with the well pump. They were able to correct all the problems on the same day with great expertise! I was extremely pleased! more

The work done was very good. The plumbers seemed very knowledgable and polite. My only complaint is that the initial visit was ONLY for estimating purposes even tho' I had stressed in my initial phone call that I needed the work done ASAP and told the person on the phone about the equipment that would be needed. more

The customer service was really great, but that is where the positive experience ended. The technician didn't really even check out the equipment and was offering to replace equipment that wasn't even broken. We found someone through a friend and it was a completely different problem the technician was going to fix than what was really going on. more

Got the job done 8/6/2015

I had a problem with a gas leak in my basement- the gas line had some issues and a connector to my dryer had a leak. I called 3 other plumbers and only one other company even returned my call. The operator waived the initial fee for the visit since I was a new customer and a technician arrived within an hour of my first call. There were 3 areas that needed to be addressed and he was knowledgable, efficient, and gave me a simplistic summary of what was required. I won't lie-- it was pricey... But the estimate was almost exactly the same as the other plumbing company's offer. The job was completed in 2 1/2 hours (as opposed to the 5 hours that the other company suggested) and the technician was professional throughout the visit. more

Good, but left with another problem 8/6/2015

The company replaced the faucet cartridge in our bathroom sink. Now the raised handle will not hold a water stream, rather it closes off prematurely. The technician said this would work itself out but after 2-3 weeks the faucet still "shuts off" automatically without moving the handle. Wonder when it will ever "work itself out"? more

Told they would be there a week before they "could" be and the price they charged me was a lot more than what they quoted me over the phone. When I called they "blamed" the phone service. Their phone service right? Seemed like they had a price to charge me and no matter what discounts I had the base price increased to match my discounts. No problem with the service. If money is no object for you then use them. They do a good job. more

Buyer Beware. 8/6/2015

The technician was very late. I missed Wednesday night Bible Study because the time I was told he would arrive (daylight) was not the time that he arrived (night). As a woman who was at home alone, I do not receive unexpected and unknown individuals to my home especially at night, so I called a friend to be present until the technician left. When I initially contacted the company, I was giving a price of less than $200.00, based on a special that they were advertising which was the reason why I contacted the company, only to have the technician have no idea of such a price so that he had to call the company on his cell phone in the midst of the service after 9:00 pm in the evening. The person on the phone explains that the special price was associated with something else, and of course at this point the technician has a concern look on his face because he is in the midst of service that does not cost less than $200.00. Now almost 10 pm at night when the service is complete, I pay not less than $200.00 but over $600.00. more
