Our fan on outside AC unit was not working. JWA met with my wife then next day because I was on a plane on business. The replaced 3 parts; a capacitor for $310 ($60 part on Internet); a contractor for $310. ($33 part); and a super booster they said should have been installed originally 7 years ago for $400 ($76 part). So $1,020 in 1 hr. I checked with another service firm and they said this was a $400 project for all 3 parts including labor parts and taxes. I called tech and he said all their pricing was from a price list. I spoke to Tieto the mgr and he basically said they charge same rates as others and we didn't have authorize work. I also learned from other contractor that the super booster for $400 was not required so Tech misled my wife. I am confident capacitor was faulty as the old part was swelled up. This is my 2nd post, the first time i rec'd a note from this site to consider withdrawing my comment as JW was open to review my other quote, which i agreed to ---then JW went silent. That makes me question the legitimacy and independence of this CustomerLobby site. Not sure about the Contactor as it didn't looked burned or damaged. Bottom line JWA ripped us off. more

I've been using Jon Wayne Heating and A/C for many years now. I was referred by a friend originally, after having a nightmare situation with another company in the past. From the start Jon Wayne's service impressed me from the first call to the serviceman that appeared at my door, right on time! Servicemen introduce themselves, wear labeled workshirts and covers for their shoes. They get right to work, work thoroughly and quickly, and when they leave you never know they were there because they clean up after themselves so well, and everything is working great! Every serviceman that has come to my home has been very knowledgeable, professional and very courteous. After they explain what was wrong and what they did, they make recommendations for care in-between service visits, and they ask if I have any questions. I love that! This last gentleman that visited my home was named Rudy. A quiet gentleman, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful. He'd be welcome in my home anytime I needed help again! I have only the best to say about the Jon Wayne company, as a local business professional and as the A/C and heating service that I will use and refer to family and friends. Simply the best! more
