A serviceman named Lyle installed my new washer and dryer. He was quick, efficient, and friendly and hauled my old machines away with no problem. This service is part of why I have shopped at Dick Van Dyke in the past and will continue to so so in the future. more

Excellent service 8/27/2014

I bought a new dryer after mine broke over the weekend and they had it delivered by 10 the next morning. It was delivered promptly and the delivery guy, Chris, was very friendly and efficient. I was impressed with how quickly he had it hooked up and the old one removed. I will definitely shop at Dick Van Dyke in the future!! more

I have used Dick Van Dyke Appliance World many times over the last 15 years and have been very pleased with the service and product quality. This time there was an issue with the refrigerator. It was damaged and could not be delivered. Although frustrating for me, the staff was able to provide an upgraded model one day later. The DVD delivery crews were outstanding. They took their time to explain how to work the appliances and were very professional. And each delivery crew arrived on time. Matt and Rich delivered the washer/dryer and Brandon and Dwayne delivered the refrigerator. Great crews! more

Checked prices other places but they couldn't beat Dick Van Dyke verses warranty 8/25/2014

Chris was very aware of his surroundings, taking care not to damage anything. He was also fast at what he did. He called 2 times to let us know he was on his way and the location he was at. He also explained things to us more

Sales & delivery was out standing 8/25/2014

My experience was the best I received out of the 4 total business I checked on the same unit , the other stores were poor and I am rating them also , my sales contact Matt Doman was interested in making sure he met my needs and not just trying to make a sale. My delivery associate was great . He made sure everything was to my expectations before he left , Next time I need to purchase an appliance I won't bother looking around I will just make purchase with DVD. I work in customer service as a supervisor in a large global mfg company and these 2 gentleman would meet my standards any day. more

Very happy with everything 8/25/2014

Sean & Mark came to deliver and install a refrigerator, deep freeze and dryer on Saturday 8-23-14. We were very impressed with not only their proficiency, but how polite and cheerful they were, despite the rainy weather and having to maneuver around tight corners & our 4 big dogs. The appliances are all working very well, too. I would have absolutely no qualms recommending these two employees, as well as the rest of your store to family and friends! more

Our delivery person Chris, was very friendly and personable, took extra care when bring the old appliances out and the new ones in, ensured they both were positioned correct, and level. And then took the time to explain how some of the features worked on both, he also offered some handy tips on how to keep the stainless steel clean and fingerprint free. We're going to ask for him again. more

Last time dealing with this company 8/22/2014

Took them 4 days to even come to the house. No call back until we called them and told them we weren't feeling the love. Then they absolutely lied and said they tried to call and leave a message. Nothing on either of the phones, so smh. more

5 star service 8/22/2014

Purchased a dishwasher from the Decatur store. Delivered three days later. (yea!). The deliverer/installer Chris could NOT have been any nicer. Took me step by step through the installation. Very professional and was in and out in less than 45 min. Will definitely call the "Customer Lobby Team" to pass on "kudos" about Chris. more

extremely good service and went out of the way to please 8/22/2014

First of all, Brandon [I4] the person who delivered this fridg did so with great concern for not damaging my house. He professionally moved the old fridge out and the new one in and assembled the ice maker and got it user ready and did so with a smile and great conversation. Great job! The buying experience for this refridgerator was interesting. I bought an 18 ft3 fridge and it was too small according to my wife. So being the husband I am for the last 30 some years I called DVD appliance world and told them what I had done and that "I really need a22 ft3 fridg; can you help me out with this mistake that I made. DVD, being the retailer they are was able to switch out the small fridge for a bigger one with a minimum up charge. Greg, handled this in the Springfield store and was extremely understanding and accommodating. Thanks Dick Van Dyke! You got me out of a jam! more

excellent service 8/22/2014

Yesterday my freezer went out. It was FULL of meat!! I called the store, gave them the make and model #. The salesman looked it up and said they had one. Well, ONE HOUR LATER my new freezer was delivered and running!!! Mark and Sean helped move the old one out of the way and set the new one up. Great job. The most important thing, I called at 4:00!!! You now have a customer for life. Thank You-Thank You-Thank-you. more
