Entered the store with an idea in mind of what I needed and it was in stock and delivered the next day. PERFECT! Chris delivered the unit, unwrapped and plugged in and told me the necessary info and down the road he went. Professional, Polite, and quick. Again, PERFECT!! more

Great Sales associate! 9/10/2014

Before we visited the Champaign store we had checked several appliance stores in our area which is 70 miles south of Champaign. Our plan was to "just look", but there was such a great selection of appliances on hand in the store and we found what we were looking for at appliance world. But what really sold us was our sales associate, Bob. He took the time to answer all our questions and to show us the many details about the refrigerator, duel fuel range and dishwasher that we decided to purchase. The delivery man was just as helpful and even though he had a two hour drive to Springfield to get home, he took his time to be sure things were right before he left. Kudos to both our sales associate and delivery man. I would definitely recommend Appliance World to my friends and family. more

Chris was awesome. 9/9/2014

Chris came over and installed our new dryer. He was even able to pry open my old dryer which I was 99.9% positive was empty and it definitely wasn't. I'm so glad he took the extra time for me and saved me a whole load of clothes! He also hooked up our steam function and cleaned our built up lint that could have been a nasty fire hazard at some point. Excellent service all around from this company and guy!!! :) more

Washer sale & installation 9/9/2014

Russ, who guided us through the buying of a new washer was outstanding. He assisted my wife and me through the different types of systems now available and that gave us the insight to pick what we needed. Very enjoyable experience which isn't always the case when buying an appliance. Shawn and Sean did a very good job with the installation. They were thorough and had the machine installed quickly and correctly. more

OMG, I'm so sorry. I just glanced at the stars and for some unknown reason was thinking of the left star being a five rating and on down. Obviously not what it is. My apologies to Chris. Delivery of new dryer 9/6/2014

We were called in the morning and given the window of time to expect the delivery of our dryer and was told the employee would call before arriving at our house. That is exactly what happened. Our delivery form had been filled out as a two-man job as it involved getting the dryer through a narrow back door, a slight jog to the left and down narrow basement steps. Of course, the old dryer had to come out the same way. Chris was the one employee who showed up and didn't bat an eye about doing the job alone With the back door removed he managed the whole job by himself. He was informative about the new dryer, did his job quickly and efficiently. Was very friendly and a great representative of the Dick Van Dyke business. Kudos to DVD for hiring such great people. more

stove repair/delivery 9/6/2014

We had an old stove that needed repairs, and Dick Van Dyke came right out to take a look at it. Once it was determined the repairs would be more than it was worth, we received a $25 coupon towards a purchase of a new stove. We found one we loved and it was delivered and installed within a week! Great service. more

Great Installation - Couldn't have gone smoother. 9/5/2014

Our Dishwasher died. We bought a new GE thru Dick Van Dyke and they scheduled our delivery for as soon as they could. The installers, James and Gino, were very professional, worked very quickly and installed our new dishwasher without a problem. I'd recommend them again any time. more
