Being a mom my dryer is very important to me. I was having some problems with it though... :( and so i called Cool Air USA. They came, fixed it and i payed almost nothing! I was so happy. They said that the dryer wasn't heating up at all, and that it was the heating coil. so they fixed it and Now I Am a Happy Mom1 more

Cool Air USA has done a couple of jobs for my church, but recently we had to have our a/c unit repaired. Because we are such value customer's they new right away who was calling, they gave us a quote that was unbeatable as usual. They worked quickly to have the job done right, before our next service, and thank the lord they were able to do such a wonderful job because that next service we were very comfortable, with our new A/C unit cooling the church all service. more

I called on a couple A/C repair companies, i needed quotes to get a job done. My a/c unit went bad a week before my family reunion. I called them and their competitive prices beat all the rest i had gotten that day. I set up and appointment and they got their within the hour time expanse I was given. I was hoping that it wouldn't take long sense i had about 35 people staying at my house for a week, and it didn't , the entire job was done before any of my family got to the house! Not only was I a VERY HAPPY camper but also I wasn't Spending a ton of money! I would definitely recommend Cool Air USA Again to my friends and to all the family currently staying with me. more

Horrible Service - Unprofessional - Will Overcharge You! 2/19/2012

I contacted Cool Air USA because my AC was not working properly. Basically, it was not cooling. Two technicians arrived at my home. After 10 minutes, one of the technicians tells me that the system needed to be flushed. I asked how much is was going to cost? He sits down and writes 4 things on a piece of paper. He tells me that the cost to flush the line is $584, new thermostat, new humidistat and replace a contact (whatever that means) would be $1,198.\r Needless to say, I was shocked! When I told him that I needed a second opinion and would need to contact another company, the Cool Air USA Technician told me \r ""Well, you really don't need these 3 things I've listed here. And if you give me lots of referrals I would be willing to do it for $400"".\r How do we go from $1,198 to $400? He said, ""Well, I am just telling you that these things will eventually need to be done"". I didn't understand. Eventually? I told him that he just told me that it would cost me $1,198 to fix my AC and that It wasn't until I told him I was contacting another company for a second opinion that he then was willing to lower the price. \r I obviously told him to leave. I called TASCO Plumbing & AC and they came within the hour and charged me $150 to flush the line. Yes $150! \r Without a doubt, Cool Air USA was taking advantage of me. When I contacted the company to complain. Their response was "" Really, this is one of our best guys. We're not saying your wrong"". \r This was my first and last experience with them and I would never refer this company to anyone. They are in business to take advantage of people. I have taken the time to write this review so others can avoid experiencing what I did.\r more

a month ago my tenant took it upon herself to call coolairusa for an advertised price of $18 for checking on exhaust fan.\r colairusa found mold in the vents and Tony the a/c guy decided to charge her $305 for cleaning and removing the mold and that i should installed a UV light for $450 plus labor. they also told her it would be under warranty for 1 year.\r 3 weeks later tenant complained of mold coming out of the vents..i called rey, the receptionist who informed me that a supervisor would call me back,,,as of today 10 days later no phone calls back..after reading the reviews from that company i decided to swallow the cost and moving on.\r i finally called a company that i knew and trusted who cam e over and were discusted to see and showed me what terrible job that coolairusa did..there was dust and mold in the a/c unit and in the vents...like nothing was ever done before.\r i had the UV light instaledl by those new guys for $320 plus another $100 for recleaning the vents and the unit //vents..\r DO NOT USE COOLAIRUSA that company also had 39 complaints at the better Business Bureau..\r please do your home work , don't trust them or the so call good reviews\r \r more

Adam Mason and Sidney Biscola are great! 1/15/2012

Although I usually do not write a review, however because of the wonderful customer service I received on 1/13/12 from both Adam Mason and Sidney Biscola I felt it was important to do this. If it was not for these 2 people, I would have nothing that great to say. It started when the initial visit which I was quoted $75.00 turned into $150.00 when they were halfway through with my dryer duct cleaning. 2 men worked on it, one on the roof, the other in the attic. When they were done, the guy closed up the attic for me and left. I figured everything was fine up there, although I was a little upset about being charged double the quote. I went in to the attic a few days later and as soon as I opened the attic door I saw light coming in from the hole where the dryer vent was, I called the company immediately and explained my frustration. I told them I NEVER saw light coming in and now I do, so there must be a problem. I was told that someone would be out on the following Sunday between 9:00 and 12:00. I received a phone call at 9:45 ish saying that they were NOT coming because that is the way the building is made. I stated that I would like them to come here and explain it to me face to face in the attic and show me why I could see light. They said they were not coming. I called on Monday morning and spoke to Adam, who apologized for the guys not coming and we set up another appointment for 4:00 Wednesday afternoon. I left work early and was waiting for them. They never came and I never even got a phone call. I was livid and on Thursday I went and picked up the papers at the courthouse on how to take a company to small claims court. On Friday I made one last phone call and asked to speak to Adam. He seemed shocked when I told him about Wednesday and how no one showed up. He put me on hold and said he would have someone here by 1:30. I said OK and I met Sidney Biscola. He was extremely nice and informative and took the time to explain every reason of why I could see the light. I was definitely happy with the service he provided. If it was not for the great customer service provided by Adam Mason and Sidney Biscola this issue would have been handled in small claims court. Kudos to these two guys! more

Cool Air Does the Job 1/4/2012

Its been cold the past few days and my AC heater did not work. I called Cool Air USA and right away they sent someone over. Frank and AJ came in on time , were very pleasant and professional and figured out the problem in under one minute. Wow! I could not ask for moer. Great customer service!!\r \r more

They stand behind their work 12/27/2011

I have had three service calls from Cool Air USA; each time the servicemen called 20 - 30 minutes before arrival, and they have showed up within the two hour window I was given when the appointment was scheduled. I must state that I was not satisfied with some aspects the work done during the first visit, but my phone call to Adam, the manager, resulted in a pleasant, supportive exchange. The crew that arrived today was well prepared, professional and knowledgeable. They took extra time with my duct cleaning and made several suggestions that will help me keep the air in my home cleaner. As a former business owner, I know that slip ups can happen. The test is how a company responds to customer concerns. In my experience, Cool Air USA is concerned with customer satisfaction and will work with you to provide top notch service. more

WORST COSTUMER SERVICE/WORK 12/18/2011

update!!!! \r THEY DID IT AGAIN.. MY BOSS CALL THEM AND THEY TOOK 650$ FROM HIM AND THEN I TOLD HIM MY STORY AND LIKE 1 HOUR LATER THE AIR BROKE AGAIN. THIS PEOPLE KEEP POSTING FAKE REVIEWS TO PUSH MY COMMENT DOWN. DO NOTTTTT CALLLLL THEMMM!!! READ MY FULL REVIEW BELOW.\r \r \r THIS PEOPLE ARE THE WORSE SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPIRIENCED.... SO BAD I TOOK THE TIME TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT HERE SO I CAN LEAVE THIS COMMENT.. I REQUESTED AC DUCT CLEANING, THEY WANTED TO DO SOMETHING ELSE FOR 5 TIMES MORE MONEY, AND IT DIDNT WORK, THEN I MADE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT AND WHEN I CALL TO CONFIRM THE APPOINTMENT THEY TOLD ME THEY HAD CANCELLED IT BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO BUSY. THEN, THEY SHOWED UP 4 DAYS LATER TO TRY AND SELL ME SOMETHING ELSE AGAIN.... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Redeemed Themselves 12/14/2011

Initially, I had a negative experience with this company. However, David contacted me first thing this morning and was extremely pleasant to speak with. He sent Jose to my business premises to take a look and see what was going on with the AC that they installed in July 2011. After researching, they found that it was the coil. It was frustrating that a coil that was less than 6 months old already needed to be cleaned, when they were supposed to ""seal"" the unit so that minimal amounts of dirt and hair could reach the coil. Because of my frustration, they offered a coil cleaning at a discount and provided me with a warranty for 1 year. After my experience today, I feel as though they were able to compromise and ultimately satisfy me, the customer. I have faith that the future experience with this company will be pleasant... more
