My husband had decided it was time to get our Air Conditioning unit fixed once this warm weather started coming in. Cool Air USA was not the first company we called, but I wish they were. When we originally called on Friday morning they told my husband they could be at my house within a few hours. They showed up on time and my husband really appreciated the professionalism. After talking with other ac repair companies in South Florida, it was refreshing that Cool Air USA was straightforward on everything they told us. I was not at home for ac repair, but my husband called me with a smile on his face after they left, which is not easy to do. The AC Repair technician showed up with a clean cut crew and nice trucks. My husband kept using the word professional while describing their work and the way they treated our property. We called around and their pricing was the very good. Before CoolAirUSA came out we received one (1) quote from an AC Repair Technician that was cheaper, but they ended up taking our money and not fixing the unit correctly. My husband realized after, that if something is too good to be true, then it usually is. He wishes he called Cool Air USA the first time to repair our ac unit. I am happy to report that our ac is working like it is brand new again. No more hot restless nights without A/C! Thank You Cool Air USA, you have us as a client forever now. It was a very hot day and only cool air seemed to understand the importance of getting some one out to my house right away. They came out and hooked me up for a good price, fixed my ac in just one hour. more

As luck would have it my AC stopped working in my house last week. Thank goodness, my neighbor recommended the ac repair company who they always use. I gave CoolAirUSA a call Sunday afternoon, and they gave me the run down of what they thought the problem would be. They not only completed the job right away, but were well below in price other AC repair companies. All in all, this is a great company to go with if you ever need any kind of AC or heating service...you wont be disappointed. more

I scheduled a date and waited at my vacant condo for an hour and half and they cancelled on me. No problem - I understand - things happen. We rescheduled and they cancelled once again!!!! I should have stopped there. No - I took off work another day to be at the condo to wait for them and 11AM turned into 12p and then 1pm and then 2pm and by 3pm - I finally gave up. These people can't keep an appointment and if you can't do that then you should not be in the service business. more

Im a pretty pciky dude. I like things my way or the highway, and this company definatly got it right. They repaired my air conditioning very quickly and I seriously have no complaints. more

I called this company because I needed a new unit. Mine had finnaly broken down after a good long life. When I called them, I was a little leary because I've heard all of the horror stories. I was very pleasantly surprised that there wasnt any run around. They did what tehy said they were going to, and I felt like they dealt with me fairly. more

I've never thought too much about my AC. It was always there waiting for me. That is, until a few days ago. The freaking thing broke down and wouldn't cool my apartment. Long story short. I called Cool Air USA and they fixed it that day. I was very happy with the service I received and wanted you to know. more

I had a really great experience with these guys. They fixed my mess and did everything on my scheduel. I dont know what else they could have done to make it better. Maybe lower the price just a little bit :) You pay for quality, and it wasnt too much though. more

As the last poster said, their customer service cant be beat. They came out to my house, and were very profesional. They took care of my problem fairly quickly, and I havn't had any problems since. Id recommend them to anyone. more

UPDATE: After posting this review, a gentleman from Cool Air USA called me to talk about my experience. While he maintained that their prices were fair because of their warranty and experience, he did apologize for my bad experience and offer to refund me the $18 I paid them for their inspection. While I still believe a $400 difference is more that would be compensated by their extra warranties, I must say that I am impressed he took the time to phone me and ask me about my experience. So while I feel the pricing is still inaccurate, their customer service is good. Original post: Our A/C died a week ago and since we've never had a major A/C problem before, we didn't have a regular guy. I had received a Valpak coupon for Cool Air USA and the coupons on it seemed pretty fair so we called them out to take a look. After about 20 minutes of poking around, one of the guys (two showed up, one who actual was working on the unit and one who apparently is only there to convince people to spend hundreds of dollars) said I was looking at $300-400 of repair even though they didn't know what was wrong yet. 10 minutes later he comes in and tells me that there are multiple problems. One capacitor is broken, as well as the fan motor. Then since they'd have to replace the fan motor, they'd have to replace that capacitor as well. They brought me outside and showed me how hooking up the new capacitor worked and such so I don't doubt what they said. But the price quoted? $720!!!!!! Now I know nothing about A/C repair but that seemed awfully high. I made some excuse about calling my husband and called our regular handyman for a second opinion. He recommended his guy with R.L Kaylor, Inc. I told him everything Cool Air USA had told me...read it right off their estimate. After Kevin stopped laughing, he gave me their estimate. $340! ALMOST $400 LESS! I immediately told Cool Air USA that I wasn't interested. Kevin with R.L Kaylor was able to fit me in right away since they were in the area....and now I'm sitting cool and comfy with an extra $400 in pocket. more

I was having issues with my air conditioning the other day, and I called these guys. They came within an hour or two and had me back up and running not long after that. Ill use them any time I have an AC problem in the future. A+ more

I recently called these guys to come out and fix my heat pump. It was making a weird noise and not cooling my home. Anyways, I called them and they came out to fix it pretty quickly. Not much to really say other than it works now. They were friendly, but they got to work and stayed outa my hair. It was a pretty good price considering It was after normal business hours. I would give them a shout if you need air conditioning repairs any time soon. more

Well as good as it could be, seeing as how it was hot outside, and my AC was busted. They came to the house and fixed everything up pretty nice. I highly recommend them. more

These guys came out to my house a few days ago to fix my unit. It wasnt working properly and my home was quite uncomfortable. To start off, they showed up right when they said they would. The man was clean and polite. He treated my home with respect and got in and out very quickly. I liked using these guys so much i might just have them clean my air ducts next week. The guy had some very good points about dirty air ducts that have caused me to do some research. more

I used these guys years ago and they were pretty good, so thought I'd try them again. Won't be making that mistake anymore. I had a coupon for air duct + dryer vent cleaning for only $25 -- but when I saw how they were cleaning the vents, I wasn't convinced it was going to be thorough enough. They no longer remove each vent and suck out the dust. Now they just put this contraption over one vent and that's supposed to clean the whole house? I don't think so! But for an extra $35, they will go to each vent and use a small blower to help push the dust to the main hose. It was about as powerful as my hairdryer. If you have more than 7 vents, than that's another $9 a piece for each additional. Next, they will clean your dryer vent -- NOT! What this means is just wiping around the outside of your dryer hose. If you want the dust sucked out, that'll cost you another $89. Then they will check out your a/c and tell you that you have mold, need sanitizer, etc... all to the tune of about $750. Total scam and the sales pitch is so over the top. If they even feel you hesitate about the price, they do the "" let me call my manager to get you a better deal"" - it's complete BS. I don't feel like my ducts are any cleaner now than before. more

These guys were amazing. I ordered from the a Rheem 4 ton unit that was 16 seer and have never been happier. The new unit operates so much better then my old Trane unit. Cool Air USA came to my home in Hollywood to do the install and they were fast, courteous and really clean. They helped me out and too care of recycling the old unit as well getting rid of all the garbage. This is the worst company I ever contracted. I was charge $300 and the job was not complete. Called to ask about a service and what is included and they told me that the water pan or drain will be cleaned as part of the AC tune up. The technician will try to convince you to do additional job in your AC, without explaining the actual job to be done requested originally. My main concern was the drain line, where the water gets accumulated with dust and mildew. When asking the technician if that was included in the Tune up he completely agrees and confirm that will be cleaned as part of the job requested. They cleaned my ducts, the fan and they stated the A/C doesn't need Freon or 'gas'. And the end of the day I noticed that the a/c does not turn on, and it was because of the emergency switch that is connected to the drain line or water pan. The emergency switch avoids the overflow of water in the line, when it gets clogged because of dust and mildew. So I removed the front cover and noticed that the drain line is still clogged and dirty. Called the company again asking if the cleaning of that component was included on the a/c tune up package and they confirmed it does. The tech came home for a second time to 'fix' the problem, but it wasn't because apparently it was a lack of communication between the dispatcher, the tech, and the customer for what work it was requested, and what is included on each service. For a normal person that does not know about the exact a/c components they need to specify what the drain line is, drain pan or water pan and a/c coils. They actually consider that to clean the water drain is a complete separate job to be done, and estimated price is $350. None of the technician took the initiative to explain the exact part what included in the Tune up and which one doesn?t. I am very disappointed with this company because I thought they where professionals and honest at the moment to deal with the consumers and their needs. I do not recommend this company at all. more
