Cool Air USA

Been dealing with the crap A/C for a long time and finally I decided to ask someone for the repairs. Then I heard that the Cool Air USA can do a good repair, so I call on to their office and ask if they can repair my A/C. They asked how the A/C broke and after a few minutes of discussio, they said they could fix it. Lucky me, so we began the scheduling of the repair and proceed to the payment. The payment was very reasonable, I'm not saying its cheap. Im saying its worth the repair of A/C if they could repair it.\r \r And the day has come for the repair, some men came into my house from Cool Air USA. They started the repair immediately and they finished it early. The repair was great, my A/C was in a good shape. I am proud to say that I AM SATISFIED OF THEIR WORK! RECOMMENDED! more

Cool Air USA was one of the companies that you would always remember when it comes to fixing/installing A/C. My mother was impress when they're fixing the A/C on my mother's house. My father too said that Cool Air USA is a good company that you can rely on when it comes to A/C. Well, that's what my parents said, I'm just their messenger. But ofcourse, I'm also one of those lucky people that experienced their good service. RECOMMENDED! more

I gave-up on hoping that my old A/C could be fixed, and then my brother Mark suggested asking Cool Air USA for help. I didn't really believe somebody or someone could fix that because it was too old and I think it is time to buy a new one. But my brother insisted and said that he's very confident that Cool Air USA could fix it. So I gave Cool Air USA a chance, they came over to my house and then checked the A/C. They said it has minor problems, and believe me or not. From the way the look of my A/C, it’s not just minor a problem. I leave them so that they coul do they job and then came back a few hours. I'm amazed that the A/C was fixed, they're beyond good in fixing A/C. RECOMMENDED! more

Talked to these guys over the phone and they were very much responsive. Gave me a detailed quote and information. They came in the next day to clean my air conditioning system and did a wonderful job. The end result was a clean and well-working air conditioning unit. Glad that I found them. more

I just called these guys a week ago to fix my mother’s broken air conditioning unit. It was so easy to set up an appointment. They arrive on time. My mother said that the technicians were courteous and friendly to her. She also reported to me that they didn’t take advantage of her. I like their honesty. more

This company is a total ripoff,i needed my ac to be fix ,and we request their service ,they send me a couple of """""""""""""" technicians"""""""" if they can be called like that ,one of them name ""neir"" an israeli guy ,that for shure knows nothing about air conditioning neither about duct systems ,try to tells me that my ac have to be replace because if was ""old"",very funny ,because my ac is only 3 years old and it was still under manufacturer warranty !!!!!!!!,are you guys idiots???????,thisguys was a fuc......ng salesman that didnt have any clue about the ac bussiness,then i follow his game and i acted as an idiot and i ask him for prices,what a surprise when he offered me for a 3 ton rheem unit 16 seers a very special price of $5600.00 after the fpl rebate!!!!!!!.people;i start laughing in front of his stupid face and i ask them to fuckoff from my house ,please !!!!!!!!!!!!,dont call this company ,they ripoff customers all the time ,i have read a lot of bad reviews from them all over the web,they are not even subscribes on bbb and they have bad reviews over there too!!!!!!,so run away from these company where ever you finds them ,good look to every body !!!!!!!! more

This place is a total ripoff. They will charge you 10 to 15 times the actual price of parts and you will have to call them back several times to fix the same issue.\r \r I challenge anyone who has written positive reviews for this company to look at the part number of the part they installed and look up online who much it actually costs.\r \r That $250 contactor they installed, found anywhere for $15.\r That $300 capacitor they installed, $20 at Grainger.\r The $760 motor they put in for you, $60 on Amazon.\r \r That $1000 repair you just paid, with parts and labor any reputable company in the city would have charged you $350 to $400.\r \r My experience with Cool Air USA, take their quoted price for repairs, divide by 2 and you get the actual price you should be paying, in some cases you might have to divide by 3.\r \r Take their quote and get a second one from any reputable AC company in the city, and I guarantee you it will be for half of what they quote you, every time!\r more

My family had a worst scenario for the summer...a broken down AC unit in July. When we called out for estimates to different AC companies, we found Cool Air USA, and they became our choice to fix the unit.\r \r We were pleased that the company came out the same day and fixed the unit which included the warranty on the replaced compressor from the manufacturer, and stayed under the budgeted amount proposed in our quote. \r \r I found the manager David to be both personal-able and professional in dealing with our issues, and made sure that the service technicians were at our site on time, and the job done correct the first time. \r \r Give them a call as they saved us from our major problem and the AC unit is working better than before.\r \r John G\r more

WORST COMPANY U HAVE A WARRANTY U ARE GOOD.. Have my parents staying with two little kids .. 6 days later the ac broke down ..they came and wanted to charge me more money .. was crying my heart out to help me nothing... more

I had an ac issue and called this company. The lady promised me that the service call to diagonize the issue will cost $29.00. They sent an agent who came over viewed my ac unit and slammed me with a $69 invoice. I paid them and will never have had any issue with the invoice had they been upfront, open and honest. I will never recommend them to anybody. Dont take advantage of people when you assume they might be in a desperate situation. more

RUN LIKE HELL FROM THIS COMPANY!!!\r \r This company is pure fraud. My ac died, they came out that night, said it needed a new coil and they would repair it in the morning. AC has not worked properly since. Was freezing cold prior to breaking down, now its merely comfortable. They said the part was replaced but yet invoice says ""repaired"" and now he says he knows nothing about a new part, despite the fact he told me he had to drive from Miami to Pompano Beach to pick it up, thus his reason for being 4 hours late for the installation. They play on words. $936 to repair or replace and fix. Leo, the owner says its my problem for signing and not reading the invoice. \r \r Its obvious they are a ripoff!! They removed freon on the repair visit, then a week later had to put it back in. AC now runs for hours without shutting off and regardless of what temp the thermostat is set at, it never gets there and will not shut on and off properly. He now says well perhaps it has other issues and that he has no proof it worked as well as I said it did prior to the initial breakdown.\r \r Also, last night their first suggestion was to replace it and they had no idea how old it is. I called Climate Master Corporation and within a minute they told me the day the unit was built and the day it shipped out of their factory and to where it was shipped. The unit is actually 6 1/2 yrs old, well within the life span of an ac unit. The factory said one could easily expect it to last 10+ years.\r \r Cool Air USA is a rip off, takes advantage of customers and conducts fraudulent business activities. more

Horrible company - they have the sales tactic to force you into repairs that are not needed and up sell you into buying a whole new unit. They came to clean my system - barely did any work - then in order to take the Coil out - they had to drain all the freon out of the system. Apparently they were not able to ""recover"" the freon and blew it straight into the air - which from my understanding is a BIG problem via the EPA. They charged me an additional 325 dollars to re-fill the system that i already had freon for. Since they did the cleaning - my AC has not been working properly and now it has completely stopped. I have had 2 other reputable companies come and inspect the system - both companies said it was due to poor workmanship while re-installing the coil. They burnt the expansion valve and even left one of the valves slightly open so that the freon leaks out of the compressor. \r \r This company is A JOKE!!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM I am currently in a dispute and filed a report with BBB STAY AWAY FROM THEM STAY AWAY FROM THEM\r \r **They said if I removed my reviews they would give me a $1,000 CREDIT back on my card - and tried to get me to sign a form saying I would be liable if I put a review up - I tried to comply with them, they still have not given me a refund or even called to try and deal with the situation - so at this point im letting the credit card companies deal with it - and if I do not get my money back - at least I can help others to NOT get ripped off by this company. more

DO NOT USE THEM! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND LEAVE YOU WITH DAMAGE!\r \r After the first visit to clean the AC unit there was a leak that caused water damage in one door and the ceiling. They never addressed that damage.\r \r After trying to fix the leak for the 2nd time they caused a short-circuit and they had to take the coil out to fix it, and they did, but they left the thermostat non-functional. They never fixed it, but even asked $400 to get us a new one. We said no thanks!\r \r I paid over $900 for the cleaning of the system originally and they told me that they will come back a second time in the year for another cleaning. When they did, they said that the cleaning was not included, just the visual check up and draining.\r more

I never wrote a company review before but promised the owner i will do so, when frank showed up in my house i was amazed from the quick response and price, after the ac installed i know that cool air stand behind their prices and customer service, got a great deal on new air conditioner and i think everybody should take a price from cool air before buying a unit more

we own a summer condo in miami , and spend 2 month every year down in south florida, when we came last nighr our ac was broken, and no air was coming our from the vents, we called cool air and within 30 min we had a tech in our home, he replace a part , didn't charge us for travel time and gave us 1 year warranty, i will recommend cool air usa to my friends !!! more

Totally a bad place to deal with wanted 485.00 to fix an under warranty part that was not even bad. Technician stood on the roof of the van and just by the sound and description knew that the unit needed a new motor . 1 hour later a GOOD technician saw that a set screw was loose and charged 60.00. Playing phone tag with what was supposed to be management was also a joke . do yourself a favor call ANY body else. more

My wife was very happy with the service system of COOL AIR USA they sent service technician to our home on just a single service call of her the technician arrived on time, fixed and serviced our Air conditioner in a very timely manner.
