entrusted the use of Cool Air Services for the removal and installation of a new home air conditioning/heating unit. This service typically takes ~5 hours, so I cleared my itinerary to accommodate their services.\r
\r
On the date of the installation, I called the company after they did not make their 9am to 12 noon timeline. The customer service agent advised me that they instead had a Tuesday installation for me, not a Saturday. This is after I made it clear with the salesperson that I am only available on the weekend because of my work schedule and also heard him confirming the specified weekend date.\r
\r
To not lose my business (after i requested refund of the 1/2 cost of $1800 for the service) the sales person contacted my with a slew of apologies and additional services that could be offered. I confirmed.\r
\r
The workers that showed up (one mature and customer oriented, the other hot headed and rude) installed the AC. During their conversations, I overheard them stating the 'heat' portion of my unit was not on the schedule, so it's not their fault. I confronted them on the message I overheard and suggest that they 'go' and 'attain' the heating mechanism for the unit and not disappoint me. They complied.\r
\r
They were supposed to also clean the vents (a service they offered in order to not lose my business the first time) but their system did not work and they in turn had to book the cleaning of my vents the following weekend. They also left a rollup of old equipment and tools, which i discarded on their behalf.\r
\r
The weekend is here, I again cleared by appointments and they are late. I called in to ensure they were on their way and was confident seeing that they confirmed my appointment the previous day.\r
\r
I was met with a rude customer service agent who proceeded to speak over me at every chance, and also stating an inaccurate timeframe: instead of a 9-12 noon, a 1-4pm timeframe. I obviously got upset as this was not the previously agreed-upon and my work schedule will again be affected. I obviously got upset and had to remind the customer service agent of her function, my function, and how to subdue high tension situations.\r
\r
This company or it's employees are extremely unprofessional and disregard the value of a customer's time. I will NEVER utilize them again. If you find a company that you are happy with, please stick with them or seek referrals from a friend.\r
