WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! 3/17/2008

OMG If I could do NEGATIVE 5 it would definatly be there. So I went to this place to look at a 7 Series BMW, and never found any ruder Sales people. One person who I was working with, Grace, Started out nice, but became a typical sales lying idiot. So, I was in a major car accident 2 weeks before coming here. My car was totalled. I went to this dealership, and after doing all the paperwork, They told me the deal was approved and she was EVEN able to workout 4.9% interest. They only needed me to have proof the car was totalled. OK, DONE! Got them the paper, Grace told me to come back right away and I could get the car. I arrive, she tells me she needs time to see if she can get the deal approved. UMMMMM HELLLO!!!! WTF did you just say???\r \r WELL, about an hour later, she is helping out another customer, she sees me staring and walks away. She comes back about 10 min. later, hands me a paper for my insurance that I gave her and says, well, they wont respond, so maybe another time. ARE YOU Fing kidding me? After all that driving, tolls and everything else? I thought that was extremely cheesy and a waste of my time. WHAT A JOKE!!! Then she turns around and starts helping other people again. The sales manager looks at me and rolls his eyes. \r \r F them and their Stupidi Dealership. Bought a new Range Rover HSE Anyways and love it!!! Pros: Not one Cons: Liars and Extremely rude more

Weatherford is the Best 1/28/2008

I had read a lot about this place and was weary to go here after reading the reveiws below. I was looking to get a CPO 330 in stick. I emailed about a car I saw on their website and got in touch with Weatherford's Internet Director, Jenn Bishop. She was great, helpful, energetic and had a great selection of cars. \r \r I couldn't be happier with my new 330. \r \r Thanks Jenn! more

BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! 8/27/2007

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THOSE OTHER REVIEWS ARE TALKING ABOUT! MY FAMILY HAVE BEEN DEDICATED CUSTOMERS FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE YET! I ALWAYS RECOMMEND THEM TO FRIENDS, CO-WORKERS... REALLY EVERYONE! THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY INFORMATIVE AND HAVE HELPED ME OUT WITH PROBLEMS EVEN MONTHS AFTER MY PURCHASE. THEY ALSO HAVE THE BEST SELECTION OF BEEMERS IN THE BAY AREA! GREAT SERVICE ALL THE WAY AROUND! THE FINANCE DEPT. WAS VERY HELPFUL AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING SOOOO WELL! I'LL FOR SURE GO TO THEM AGAIN WHEN I'M IN THE MARKET FOR ANOTHER BMW! Pros: GREAT SELECTION! more

SCAMMERS, BUYERS BEWARE!! GO TO EASTBAY BMW INSTEAD!! 4/18/2007

I came to Weatherford BMW in Berkeley, CA on April 3rd, 2007 because I called Bruce Marks about a used vehicle, he said it was there. When I got there and went to look at the vehicle, it was not there. He lied to me to get me there. I then requested a 2007 328i, black automatic, with tan leather. Bruce said he would have to order it and it would take 10 weeks. I gave Bruce a check for 1000.00, and I went home. I thought about it and I felt uncomfortable with Bruce and I also could not wait ten weeks for a car. I called Bruce April 4th and I told him to cancel the order, he said it was fine, and I didn't need to worry about my refund. Bruce said he would look for another car for me, he was unable to find the car I requested so I found it myself at Eastbay BMW. I purchased the 328i from Jason Burger on 4/5/07. I have been calling and emailing ever since. I have emails from Bruce saying the business office cut the check. I also have a copy of the work sheet with a copy of my check on it. No where does it say anything about finding another car or not getting a refund. I made one last attempt and called Bruce on 4/17/07, I asked him about my check he said sorry he was out of town. He asked my what car I purchased? I said I found a 328i at another dealer that I wanted and it was cheaper. After that Bruce said it might be a problem getting my refund. He then hung up on me after I said the dealers are not related and I will take him to court. He hung up on me. I have left messages with the General Managers as well as the manager. This is the most unprofessional BMW EVER!! Cons: errogance, neglect more

Weatherford BMW is a bottomless pit of incompetence, arrogance and borderline criminal negligence. 3/29/2007

From the day I bought my X5 six years ago, to just this very morning, I have had nothing but frustrating, time wasting, money draining experiences with their sales, service and parts departments. \r \r When I was negotiating the purchase of my car the salesman, Ali, agreed on a price over the phone. When I got to the dealership about 2 hours later he told me that the price was no longer available. I walked out. He called back two days later and offered me the same price again. I ended up buying the car simply because in 2001 there were not that many available. Ali told me he?d ?throw in? the floor mats. Great. Until I realized that he had added them to the amount of the car that I was financing. Not only not free, but I would have had to pay finance charges on them. \r \r About a week before my temporary registration tag expired I called the dealership to find out when I could expect my license plates. I ended up leaving messages with Ali, the sales department manager and eventually the GM of the dealership David Callahan. Not a returned phone call from any of them. I eventually got my plates a month after my temporary tag had expired, meaning that I had to drive unregistered for that time or not drive at all. Turns out Weatherford had forgotten to file the correct paperwork with the DMV. I left a very succinct and courteous message on David Callahan?s voice mail once I had figured out what happened, explaining the poor service that I had received. Still no return phone call. I have to assume that David Callahan receives such a large volume of complaints about his dealership that he does not have the time or the inclination to respond to them. Clearly the systemic problems with this dealership start at the top.\r \r For more detail go to YELP. more

Worst car dealer ever...i know it's hard to believe...but it's true 2/14/2007

Worst purchase experience ever. I bought a brand new 2007 328i from them and after the sale was made was treated like a 2nd class citizen.\r \r Also, as part of my purchase I traded in my old car and made an agreement with the salesperson that I could take my aftermarket stereo out of the car since it was expensive. This was part of my sales contract/agreement. They gave me 3 weeks to sell the car on my own and took possession of the car because they said it was legally necessary. I went back 1.5 weeks later to remove the stereo from the car only to find that someone else on their lot had removed it, much to my surprise and dismay. Anyhow, i called the salesperson and they said that they would look into it and try to get it back to me. I never heard back, called again and the salesperson said that it was missing and they could not locate it. Still, no follow up phone call. Well, after 1.5 months of trying to deal with the salesperson (Josh) i went in and asked to speak to a manager. The sales manager named Byron Horter approached me and was almost immediately rude. He tried to blame me for leaving the stereo in the car and said that I was negligent. HA! What a joke. We had made an explicit agreement that I could take the stereo out of the car. They then took possession AND responsibility for my car and its contents. He proceeded to continue to be rude and disrespectful until i got fed up and left.\r \r The service department was also rude to me when i took my car in for its first service appointment. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY MORE BUSINESS. We need to start standing up to companies that treat their customers like this. Cons: rude sales and service staff, absolutely no ethics or accountability more

Worst dealer in the world!!!! Even you have a solid deal, they can back it out and sell the car to someone else 9/16/2006

Don't buy from this dealer. Those sales rep does not know anything about the car. The put the car to sale before the car is ready. Their attitude is bad too. Here is my story:\r \r In my first approach, I walked away from the deal because they didn't want to lower the price and they even claim they can find another customer willing to pay for the full price. OK fine!\r \r The manager called me the next day and finally they lower the price. Then I went back but the car was not even detailed. Still dirty!!! Still unpolished. I said on the phone, please clean up the car before I take it home. The Sales Rep said OK, we will clean by tomorrow.\r \r However, when I did my final test drive. The car was still unfinished. I was very unhappy with them, because it is my 3rd trip to the dealer. They lie to me again. Ok fine. The sales rep apologized and said it will ready tomorrow, the sales rep promised to call me and let me know when it is ready.\r \r Ok. Finally the sales guy did not call me. BECAUSE HE IS OFF THE NEXT DAY.....I called him because I was expecting his call and need to arrange time to pick up the car. I left a message to him in his VM.\r \r Finally a few days later, the sales guy back from day off and called me the car is ready. OK I was mad but still I know this the my last time. I went to pick the car. He told me to wait inside the warehouse. HOWEVER, HE COULD NOT LOCATE THE CAR!!!!. He called his manager and finally find out the CAR WAS SOLD!!!!!!!!!! ISN'T IT RIDICULOUS???!!!!!!! Pros: Nothing Cons: Bad attitude!!! Back off the deal!!! Not TRUST WORTHY!!!! more

Worst BMW dealer in the Bay Area 7/30/2006

Weatherford BWM is worst than your typical used car sales lot. I made a offer on a certified car and the sales manager countered. When we finally agreed on a price and I signed the sheet that I agreed to a price they came back saying the offer was off because they had a couple of people looking at the car. I cannot believe they were more interested in making a couple of extra bucks vs customer satisfaction and the integrity of their dealership. I already own a BMW and will probably be loyal to the BMW car forever however, I will never set my foot in the Weatherford BMW or give them any business in the future. more
