SCAMMERS, BUYERS BEWARE!! GO TO EASTBAY BMW INSTEAD!! 4/18/2007

I came to Weatherford BMW in Berkeley, CA on April 3rd, 2007 because I called Bruce Marks about a used vehicle, he said it was there. When I got there and went to look at the vehicle, it was not there. He lied to me to get me there. I then requested a 2007 328i, black automatic, with tan leather. Bruce said he would have to order it and it would take 10 weeks. I gave Bruce a check for 1000.00, and I went home. I thought about it and I felt uncomfortable with Bruce and I also could not wait ten weeks for a car. I called Bruce April 4th and I told him to cancel the order, he said it was fine, and I didn't need to worry about my refund. Bruce said he would look for another car for me, he was unable to find the car I requested so I found it myself at Eastbay BMW. I purchased the 328i from Jason Burger on 4/5/07. I have been calling and emailing ever since. I have emails from Bruce saying the business office cut the check. I also have a copy of the work sheet with a copy of my check on it. No where does it say anything about finding another car or not getting a refund. I made one last attempt and called Bruce on 4/17/07, I asked him about my check he said sorry he was out of town. He asked my what car I purchased? I said I found a 328i at another dealer that I wanted and it was cheaper. After that Bruce said it might be a problem getting my refund. He then hung up on me after I said the dealers are not related and I will take him to court. He hung up on me. I have left messages with the General Managers as well as the manager. This is the most unprofessional BMW EVER!! Cons: errogance, neglect more
