I think Toppers is all hype and no action. If you don't have a certain look they turn there noses up at you. I hadn't been there before and I surely won't be back. If you don't show up with a Fendi and a fur don't waste you time Pros: atmostphere Cons: snooty, stuck-up more

Pleasant Spa in the City 10/14/2002

I went to Toppers for a bikini wax and was very pleased with the atmosphere and the staff. I was able to get an appointment the same day I called and found the esthetician to be very professional. Top notch spa. more

poor customer service 10/14/2002

Topper Spa is one of the worse spas in the city. I cant imagine them even being in the rating, let alone to be rated one of the top ten. The have poor customer service, the rooms are horrible, the service providers are abrupt and they chew gum at the front desk while interacting with guests. Who did this survey? Have they ever been to the spa at Four Seasons? Pierre & Carlo deserves to be on this list, definitely NOT Toppers. more

Toppers hits bottom for me! 9/15/2002

Toppers does not always put the customer first. Their attitude and demeanor is unnecessarily haughty, especially when you *think* they would be focused entirely on the well-being of the customer in a pampering business. They rush through services, leaving you to know they're watching the clock and ready to move you onto the conveyor belt of services. Massage was adequate but nothing special. They were not particularly helpful when describing services, and did not speak to me or my spouse when we came into the reception area. There are too many wonderful spas to choose from in Philly to ever bother with Toppers again. Not ""tops"" in my book. more
