Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Dax, our technician was awesome. He showed up immediately and was friendly and offered suggestions on how to save many and on making sure that we contacted our insurance company. He was very helpful and completed the task as quickly as possible. I would definitely use this service again if needed. more

I called them around 10AM and said I needed them there as soon as possible, they told me 12-2PM, and I thought, "Awesome, that's quick!", and then they called and said they could come even earlier if I was ok with that and I was ecstatic! My main drain was clogged and I had minimal water drainage and he let me know how he had to do to possibly fix my problem. He ended up having to go through my toilet drain, and I thought, "Oh great, my bathroom is going to be so dirty." Not the case!! He came in, asked me about the problems I've been having and I felt like he really was listening to me with genuine concern. He left my bathroom just as clean as he'd found it (which was very clean considering I had cleaned it the night before!) He told me my options and how much it could cost. He tried multiple things to attempt to fix my problem (which wasn't solved) and he told me some options I had to deal with the problem in the meantime, until we can have the problem resolved. Out water heater went out in the middle of the night. Called Roto-Rooter and the on-call tech walked us through what to do so there was not a big water mess and problems with natural gas. He also gave us a ball park figure for a new replacement of our water heater. Arranged with the office staff for service and installation. The girls were very friendly and they told us that they would call to let us know when the plumber was on his way. It was great to have a two hour window (noon-2pm and not all day) for the expectation of replacement. The girls called us before noon to let us know that the plumber was available right then and was on his way (early). Dax (the plumber) was very courteous and competent. Even with accumulating snow outside, Dax was early and had the job done quickly. No mess for us to clean up and we are extremely happy to only be without hot water for less than a day. We had a blocked up drain on our Kitchen sink and couldn't break the blockage loose. I called up Roto Rooter, and there were able to service on a Saturday without having to charge a premium. The service technican was very professional, serviced the issue in less than 30 minutes,and left the area clean. I would highly recommend their service. Great job! more

It was 3am this freezing, snowy, Saturday morning when my hot water pipe broke. The connector burst with a hiss and a pop. Before long I had the water main turned off and had calmed down enough to call Roto-Rooter. The technician on duty at that hour gave me a quote for the work (without looking at it) for coming out at that hour. I opted to wait till 8 o'clock so I could schedule a service call later in the day. Before I had a chance to call the office they phoned me back saying the technician told them about my problem. I scheduled the service call and the plumber came out while I was gone. My husband asked him to wait till I returned (a few minutes after he arrived) so I could make the decision to fix it. I knew it was not going to be an easy job. The water heater and furnace are in the same small closet and the pipes are ancient. The plumber was very kind and explained that the connector was not readily available due to it being Saturday. He took the old pipe back to the shop to so more
