Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

We have a very old house in an historic district. In the past, about every year and a half, we have issues with the pipes that leave the house and go out to the main service drain. Predominately roots getting into the drain and stopping the natural flow. And every year and a half we have back up problems. We have called Roto Rooter and they have come out immediately and taken care of everything. This year we decided to be pro-active so we wouldn't face the same problem in the dead of winter.Our service tech Sean #1680 and Jim couldn't have been more professional, or more helpful. Gave us a few tips as to what we can do to help prevent a 'yearly check-up', and so very friendly. Many thanks to both of you. You are excellent representatives for your company. more

Called Roto Rooter due to a clog in the bathroom. Was going to set the appointment up the next day. Customer Service suggested that they would have someone come out tonight. Brian #1427 came fixed the clog gave us some suggestions since we are going to remodel the bathrooms soon. He was very friendly and took his time. Thank you Brian! :) more

Came home from work and found the main drain line plugged up overflowing into the garage. Called Roto-Rooter and they said around 3 hours before they can have someone to get there. They showed up within a half hour after calling. Fixed problem and were very professional and courteous. Nick the Service Tech that fixed the problem even gave suggestions for preventing the problem from comming back. Thanks for a great and speedy repair. more

We had a leak out of the back of the toilet, tried to fix it ourselves at night and it didn't work. We called Roto-Router at 8:15 to find out about them, we assumed they would be more expensive for 24-7 service but they don't charge any additional fees. They said they could have someone out the next morning between 8 and 10. At 7:15 the dispatch called to let me know they were on their way and a little before 8:00 they were here! They quickly evaluated the situation, told me what needed to be fixed and fixed it in less than an hour! I found a $40 off coupon on their site and I payed less than I was expecting. Great service, competent people and I'm glad to have a plumber number on hand for the future! more

When Roto Rooter showed up Paul, the technician and a trainee (not sure of his name) who was with him were very polite, asked what the situation was and I explained it to him and then they figured out exactly what needed to be done. Paul gave me a list of options that I had for the different packages they offered and I chose one and they went to work right away! Once they started cleaning out the main line they ran into a few trouble spots due to the actual drain itself but they were able to get the main line working properly and things moving freely. The next thing I know the supervisor is here at our house and they looked at our main drain with the camera hose, at no extra charge to us, for us to find out that we have been having these issues for that last few years because of our outside main drain needs to be replaced. The supervisor came in and sat down with us explained to us exactly why our main drain needed to be replaced and what type of work would be involved and how much it would cost us as well. He was very friendly! I have been using Roto Rooter for the last few years and every time they've had to come out its always been a positive end result and we couldnt be more happy! more

we had to wait 6 hours for the service man who was swamped with another call.but when he came , he was pleasant and got our drain cleaned out and the water ran out faster than it had in 15 years. the clog was gone!!!!!!! donald e. hoyt more

Living in an old house has both advantages and disadvantages. Fix one thing and something else goes wrong. Steve did a great job! His calmness and confidence was reasurring as my simple job became more complicated. I am very pleased with the job he did on my bathroom sink. more

Paul the plumber who came out from cincinnati was very professional. He reviewed my problem and his offer for a solution with me. When I had questions he covered the information in terms that I could understand. He also kept me posted on the progress of the work which took several hours to complete. When the work was completed, Paul made sure the area was cleaned up before leaving. Agan, a very polite and professional service was expected and was provied. We recently re-located to the Cincinnati area and our main line backed up due to a root clog. We needed to have it scoped to evaluate the line and the severity of the root damage. The plumber Greg, was courteous and professional. He was very thoughtful, putting on and removing shoe covers, each of the 6 times he entered and exited the house. I felt he was honest as he offered several repair options from patching to line replacement and offering his opinion on what needed to be done. more

I came in from walking the dog and noticed a bad odor from the garage. I opened the door and saw a pool of dirty water around the drain. I called Roto-rooter and they said that a technician was close by. Sean showed up at the door in less than an hour! He cleaned out roots from the pipe which fixed the problem. I appreciated his promptness and clear explanation of the problem. I will definitely call Roto-rooter again if I have future plumbing problems. more

Our gas water-heater began to leak and fail on a weekend...of course!!! I called Roto Rooter on a Saturday night because I was really worried!! This is the first home we have had with a gas water heater, so I had concerns about what could happen to it. Kevin came out to the house Saturday evening and let me know what to expect over night---then he came out on Sunday and we had a new unit installed. He answered all of our questions, told us all about the new unit which was an improvement over what we had when we built the house, and he gave us a very fair price for the installation and new water heater. We are very pleased and would recommend Roto Rooter to all of our neighbors. more
