We live in Cincinnati Ohio and used Roto Rooter many years ago. Had a Plumbing issue come up and remembered the good service I recieved years ago so I called them. Dave the plumber was very knowledgeable and helpfull, I would receommend him and Roto rooter to anyone needing plumbing work more

To begin with the consultation over the estimate & evaluation was thorough and clearly explained. My highlight was when it was decided that my unsightly rose of sharon bush/tree would have to be removed in order for the crew to fit the equipment going to the back yard. My husbands highlight was the reasonable cost to repair the sewer/drain pipe. Most importantly the time it will take to repair and the comfort we felt of roto rooter knowing their business well and do their business pleasantly. more

Last Saturday morning the main drain from our home to the street backed up into our basement. I immediately called roto-rooter and they said they would send out a technician within two hours. After about 1 hour and 45 minutes later no one had arrived and I was about to call back when I received a call from roto rooter indicating that the technician was still at another job but would arrive within 30 minutes. I appreciated that call, and that type of service would not be provided by every plumbing service. Once Mike arrived he quickly determined where the problem was and presented the options available. Within in an hour the clog was cleared in the main drain and the awful smell in my basement began to disappear. Mike even offered to send another roto rooter employee out to my home during the upcoming week with a camera so I could see the condition inside the drain pipe. I am so relieved that I called Roto-Rooter. The plumbers that I had previously used could not give me an appointment for 10 days and I was unable to do laundry due to a clogged drain in my Laundry room. John and Curtis worked very hard to clear it. At first the snake would not even pass through the pipe. But Curtis didn't give up. He ended up clearing the drain by going into another one nearby. Anyway, I have had so much trouble in the past with that drain I thought they would have to do something major and that it would cost a lot of money. But they fixed it for the initial cost, and gave me a 6 month guarantee. The best part is that the day after I called them I am able to do laundry again. We had used RR previously and were very sastisfied with the work. This last time was for my mother. Mom had a few issues: There was a blockage in her bathroom where the trap had to be cleared--water was not draining from her sink. My husband had tried to clear the blockage before calling. In doing so, he realized the pipes were pretty corroded and those had to be removed. We also noticed that her faucet pop-up drain was not working. I called Roto-Rooter Friday morning and they were able to send someone that afternoon. Sean Townsend was our Service Technician. From the minute he came through the door he was friendly, courteous, and very professional. Sean provided us with an estimate upfront. He explained and itemized each step for labor and parts with us. Once we signed the agreement, he started to work and did not stop until the job was completed. I called for a Plumber from Roto-Rooter's Cincinnati Office on a Sunday morning because the main sanitary line from our home was backed up, and the raw sewage was coming up into our garage through a floor drain. Roto-Rooter responded within three hours and the Technician had the blockage cleared within an hour. He was very knowledgeable and worked diligently to get the problem resolved. He also made suggestions to alleviate the problem in the future and also pointed out some products from Roto-Rooter that might help avoid future back-ups of the Sanitary Line. more

Mike did an excellent job of cleaning my drains and fixing a toilet. He furnished me a complete cost quote upfront and was sure I knew just what he would do and that I understood the cost. They greeted us with a handshake and immediately began investigating our situation at our home by asking us where our problems began. Sean and Heath were very professional and listened to our concerns as homeowners. Upon looking at every aspect of our flooded basement from outside issues to the sump-pump, Sean gave us the recommendations for our home. After preparing to install a new sump-pump, magically the old pump began to flow. Sean was so honest as to tell us what was happening and that he could not say as to whether or not we should replace the old pump because it had started working again. He left the decision up to us. We so appreciated his honesty because we are not sure if many other service providers would have told the truth instead of taking the money over being honest. Dave was here for more than 2 hours cleaning my drains. He cleaned up the leaves around the drains, cleaned up after himself and left everything neat and tidy. The Technician that came to our home was very professional. He brought the tools needed for the job. Also he was able to use his camera scope to show us the problem.. Those tree roots are not a good thing. Keven was able to fix the problem for a short term but we will be needing them to come back out to get rid of the tree roots so this doesn't happen again. more
