Plumber service in Cincinnati - I scheduled service for basement drain Sunday night for Monday between 9-11AM. Serviceman Dominique showed up at 9:30AM. Drain was cleared in less than 30 minutes. Serviceman was professional, friendly, answered all my questions and cleaned up after himself. \r Roto-Rooter charges a bit too much for this service however, they guarantee their work and it is done in a professional manner. It is my opinion that having the job done right the first time, with a guarantee, is worth the extra cost, given the extra time and frustration of having someone come back to "redo" what should have been done on the first visit. Roto-Rooter also re-lined my mom's main drain a few months ago and did a terrific job there as well.\r I would not hesitate to recommend Roto-Rooter's service to any of my friends or family. The plumber was a little late getting to our house compared to the time they told us, but at least they were able to make a same-day appointment. The fact they were able to get here the day we called them really helped. The plumber, Nick, was professional and courteous, and worked quickly. Absolutely no customer service issues. The prices seemed a little high. $250 to unclog a drain, but again, the fact they had a flexible availability really helped. I think they are one of the premier plumbing companies in the Cincinnati area. more

Im in the cincinnati area and i had a backup the sewage was coming up into my bathtub! i need a plumber so i called Roto-Rooter and they had brad out within an hour ( at 8pm!) he spent 3 hours snaking the outside to get it fixed for us! unfortunately we need more work done so he got us set up with a camera to come out today first thing and check it out further. We needed an emergency plumber in Cincinnati/West Chester to clear a bathtub clog. I called on Sunday afternoon and they had someone to me by 5 pm. I even received 2 phone calls from their home office letting me know when he was done at the previous job and when I should expect him. Andy was fantastic - personable, explanatory, and quite competent. The charge for service also was much lower than I was expecting! We were desperate-our garage was flooding due to a blocked drain. They sent Chris out within 1/2 hour after our call. He went to work immediately. Roots from a Maple tree had wrapped around a pipe and broken the pipe. He was so professional and friendly and eased our minds as soon as he arrived. I called roto-rooter needing a plumber that evening. I was very pleased to find out they would send someone right away. Andy showed up right on time and was very friendly, professional and helpful. Our drain was unclogged and he talked to us about ways we could keep this from happening in the future. Our kitchen sink was clogged and we could not get it unclogged. After working on it a couple days we called Roto-Rooter and they sent Andy to our home within a couple hours. He was friendly, professional and very helpful. He unclogged our drain and talked to us about how we can keep this from happening in the future. I had a clog somewhere that was causing water to back up into my utility sink. I tried Drano, I even went out and bought a cheap pipe snake and tried snaking it myself, but I couldn't clear the clog. I was able to schedule same-day service with Roto-Rooter for a non-emergency at no additional cost. Cost was a little pricey in my opinion for a relatively simple job (all they did was snake the line), but it got the job done and they guaranteed the work for 6 months. He also gave me tips on how to prevent future clogs. Great job to this Cincinnati-based plumber. more

We needed a Tub drain cleaned, and Andy did a very professional job at cleaning out our drain we had been fighting with liquid plumber for months. He was flexible with his fees which I found to be interesting, I didnt know the charges could be negotiated but they were. So I remember their commercial and Roto-Rooter song from back when I was a kid and didn't have to think about using them. My parents took care of the adult stuff.\r \r Times have changed. . . now I have my own house to worry about. . . and unlike when I was a kid, I now know what Roto-Rooter is all about.\r \r The symptom was a backed up drain in my basement. The cause was tree roots invading my sewer pipe. \r \r Phone service is professional - everyone arrived on time so the rooting could begin. I was provided a diagnosis and cost upfront so I could agree or not agree before the service is performed.\r \r I'm happy to say the problem was resolved in under two hours. Additional diagnosis (cost free) was to determine if there were additional issues. Using a camera deployed down the drain, we found that there were some draing issues lurking under my lawn. Two proposals and costs regarding long term resolution were provided. \r \r The immediate problem was resolved and future problems diagnosed. All this with no sales pressure. What more can you ask for. I would use them again if / when needed. I would also be comfortable with my own mother using them : ) more
