Please don't discredit this for your own good! I've disregarded negative reviews when the majority is positive, that's generally what I do. But PLEASE! If you are looking at getting a used car from these people, HEED MY WARNING! So initially we looked at a 2005 Ford Focus which was shown in inventory. We were told the car was shipped from South Carolina that day and would be on the dealership lot. When we arrived, they had a Blue Focus out there for us to see...but it was a 2010 used car, with broken interior parts, and they wanted $17000 for it! Not a good start... After getting it straightened out that the car was in fact STILL in South Carolina, we decided we could get it brought up to the Concord store...for a fee. Problem is, it requires a deposit, and a promise of sale. If you sign that, you can't get out of the deal unless THEIR technicians see a fault with the car and can't repair it. See a problem with this? They wanted us to put in writing a seal that we would buy this car no matter what, without ANY pictures even up on the website and not even seeing the car? Are they crazy?! It didn't end there. The sales manager, David Neumann, then came out to interject his bit of knowledge. He then tried to pass off other cars on the lot for us to buy instead. A Mitsubishi, a VW, a derelict Toyota; tell me how these are a Focus? As an experiment, he suggested a VW Toureg. It was priced at $12000; he offered it for $7100. We took a look. One of the LCD displays was messed up on the dash, and other than that looked fine...until I took off the oil cap. SLUDGED INTO A BROWNIE! I seriously don't think the oil had EVER been changed in 125k miles. I voiced this as a concern, and David then tried to pass it off on me for $6500. ARE YOU TRYING TO INSULT ME?! I asked if the Focus arrived, and was sludged that bad, if they would consider that a issue, and they said NO! Even though I am a mechanic, it doesn't take one to know you HAVE to change the bloody oil! They said ANY car with that mileage will look like that. Um, NO! I have three Foci, all with over 100k miles on them, with oil changed every 7500 miles with regular Walmart oil, and they are SPARKLING CLEAN! They assume everyone is an idiot and exploit that fact. When attempting to clear up questions of the 30 day warranty, David arrogantly told our salesman to forget about ordering the car, as if to say we were too much trouble to bother with and weren't worth it, simply because we asked questions. To conclude the experiment, I told him since we couldn't see the car, there were no pictures, and the condition was unknown, the price on the Focus would have to come down a bit. He blatantly wrote us off without a forethought and showed us the door. First off, I want to say that our salesman, Perry, was PHENOMENAL! He answered all of our questions, and was very polite and understanding. The problems started when he brought out his arrogant manager David. I don't know how they sell ANY cars under this guy! First you try to dupe me into buying a garbage car, discount it by nearly 50%, but you won't budge $500 on the car I REALLY WANT? A word of warning: They will try to sell you a discounted car at an unbelievably good price to lure you in, think you're getting an amazing deal, and clear it off the lot. I guarantee you it will blow up on you within a year. I, MY FAMILY, MY FRIENDS, AND MY ASSOCIATES WILL NEVER BUY A CAR HERE! I hope Honda Cars of Concord doesn't have David on the clock too much...otherwise, anyone with any investigative and cautious nature will avoid this place like the plague! They've already lost eight grand from us for their (David's) bad attitude. more

So, crazy story... I was on my way to the dealership for a standard oil change and tire rotation. A few minutes before my appointment I received a phone call from Mike. Mike informed me that they had some really awesome deals going on and he could run some numbers for me while I was at the dealership. Truthfully, I thought "yeah right, I am NOT buying a new car"! ...Especially since I just bought one from from them 2.5 years ago (also a very pleasant experience). Well, I ended up eating my words because they made me an offer I could NOT turn down!! The customer service was phenomenal-from the phone call to the handshake before I drove away. They were professional and patient and extremely helpful!!! I am one to be really annoyed by pushy and arrogant people and this Honda dealership is the EXACT opposite of that! I ended up driving off in a brand new Accord (right off the show room floor!!!) and with a smile on my face! If there were a 10 on the satisfaction and rating scale THAT is the score they would receive... Henry even took my old car to the back to have my residential parking decal removed so that it could be placed on my new car! Mike took my cd's out of the disc changer and placed them in my new one... I am a stickler for the little things and this Honda team impressed me all around!! It doesn't get any better than that! more

Mr. John Pleasants was helpful in showing me the many car options at the dealership, as well as the special features they each had to offer in accordance to what best suited my needs. Great Dealership 4/2/2012

We just purchase our # 2 Honda yesterday. Service is GREAT there. Soon as we drive up and get out of the car,they are willing to help. One of the sales ladies,Kristin, had been calling us for our 07 Honda to trade in.We just happened to go at the right time,she was there and was very knowlegable. They had a good selection of the vans that we wanted. And we was not there all night! Even after we were finished with everything,Kristin even took her time to help us with the setting up some of the new things like the radio and blue tooth. We live in Matthews.But the drive is worth it to go to Concord . We very strongly recommend this dealership!!! Thank-you Kristin for all your help!!! more

I purchased my second vehicle from Honda of Concord yesterday and was pleased with the process again. They have a great selection of new cars, the sales people are always prompt and helpful and love the service department that I have used on my first vehicle. We have owned Honda's for years due to the excellent cars/vehicles that they are. Honda of Concord goes above and beyond to meet all expectations. John Pleasants was our Sales Associate, he was informative and was able to get all of our questions answered. They were able to locate a Honda that met what we were looking for. Tony Montana at Honda of Concord provided the best customer service in helping me to find just the right car. I wanted to trade in my Pilot for an Accord and was going to settle for a used vehicle. However, after Tony carefully listened to my needs, he knew exactly which car would be perfect! I think that listening to the customer's needs/wants is most important when selecting the right vehicle. Tony did just that. Actually he surpassed all my expectations of a salesperson. I know he went above and beyond and I truly do appreciate it. More dealerships and companies should follow Honda of Concord's example. I highly recommend Tony, as well as the other staff there. Unexpected Great Service 12/5/2011

I was looking for a new/used Honda Element, or a 2012 Tacoma; I was on the fence. Last Sat. I saw an ad online for a 2008 Honda, and drove down (126mi) to Honda of Concord. I wasn't in the best of moods when I arrived and told myself if I got any of the all-to-common salesmen BS I would go next door and look at the Toyotas. Mr. Demetrius Parson, from the start, was everything I had hopped for but didn't expect to find: Polite, helpful,... and actually had a brain! Both he, and the Sales Manager (lost his name) answered my questions and got me the vehicle I wanted, for the price I wanted, without having to deal with the hassle of financing. They're even going to deliver my Element to me later this week at MY convenience. I will definitely be recommending these guys to other potential buyers. more
