I live on 37th Ave S in Kent. I recently had my water tank replaced by Fast Water Heater Company; the technician was Mr. Smith. I was impressed that I called the company at 0930, they sent someone at 1130 and my tank was replaced, paper works, and teaching done by 130pm. Mr. Smith explained to me all my options. After I understood the financial aspect, he started doing the work. My water tank was I don't know how old. the last paper work on the tank was of May 1989. The tank was rusty. I am glad the tank gave up. I am happy with my new tank professionally installed following the city codes. The job was smooth and clean. Also, I received free carbon monoxyde detector. I will recommend services from this company. They are fast and accurate. more

This review is for Fast Water Heater in Renton, WA. The water heater at my rental house in Renton, WA went bad and was dripping on a Saturday. I talked to Walter on the phone at Fast Water Heater company and he was very helpful. He quoted me over the phone soup to nuts between $800- $1000 (depending on which water heater size and model) to quickly replace the water heater and dispose of the old one. I thought to myself that this pretty expensive but agreed since it was a Saturday and my tenants needed water. After they replaced it (90 min) the repair guy charged my credit card $1,800. To be completely transparent, the work was done very well but I can't give more than 1 star that takes this much advantage (fiscally) of their customers. We had a new hot water tank installed in May 2013. Service was professional and fast like they say. I believe they were able to come out the day after we called, which was great because it allowed us to take advantage of a special financing offer through Home Depot. We'd had a bid done by another company that was over $1000 more than Fast's bid before taxes. Even still, all of the things that needed to get done to be up to code were taken care of. The other company we'd had give us an estimate told us we needed all of the same things, so I feel like we were given a fair and honest estimate of what we needed. The employee who did the install was excellent. He always knocked before coming in the house (the water heater is in our garage), and he explained everything that needed to be done as well as what he'd done and where everything was when he was finished. And he was very patient when I asked that he wait a few minutes so that my husband could hear it all too. I also appreciated that they were on time. I'm currently caring for our new baby, so it was nice that when I tried to time her feeding around their visit they actually showed up when I was told they would. To be honest, they do offer you $25 to post 2 reviews. That said, they don't say you have to post favorable reviews to take advantage of the offer. I'm not one to normally write reviews, so $25 is certainly a motivator to do so. Fortunately for them I'm writing a good one because I feel they deserve it. Thank you! more

They installed my last water heater 11 years ago. I never had any problems, until....You walk down to the basement and you see the water on the floor around the water heater, uh oh. Of course the heater is not on, so twenty minutes of trying in vain to light the pilot, no go. Clearly i need a repair or a new tank. Even though I knew the shelf life of these things is about 10 to 15 years, I thought maybe there was a fix. On to the internet where all good diagnosticians go. Oh and this is Friday night. The next day I called a few places and got about the same price ranges, but FAST came in a bit cheaper. Be aware that there are always going to be extra costs associated with a new install, pieces of the plumbing to be replaced, gas valves etc. They were very good at going over all this on the phone. They did a good job 11 years ago, so why not now. I was on the phone at 8AM. Mitch was here with a new tank by noon and out the door by 2:30. A great job, everything was explained, there was zero pressure to buy any new shut off valves or other items. They were great, cleaned up the place, and now I'm just waiting for the water to get hot so that I can clean myself up. more

When I needed a waterheater for my home, I went to the Home Depot. They called Fast Waterheaters for me while I was at the store. I spoke to the rep and the scheduler the same day, and arranged for the installation two days later. On the day of the installation and within the time frame. The tech, George, called me to let me know that he was on his way. He arrived 30 minutes later. After doing the paperwork, the tech started immediately on the installation. His truck was well stocked for the job. With everything within the truck, even a selection of waterheaters, he got the job done in 1-1/2 hours. The work was fairly priced and the tech did a great job - even cleaning-up the debris! I would recommend again for a waterheater! more

I am quite thankful that Home Depot chose Fast Water Heater Co. to install my new water heater. The two gentlemen who installed the new heater were upfront and honest from the moment I met them. There was quite a bit of work to be done prior to the installation. It was so that it was safely installed and up to code. The provided me with a price quote and explained what "had" to be done and what could be done at a later time due to the amount the project was going to cost. Saturday night is not when you would like to find no hot water and a mini flood around your hot water system! Sunday we did some research and it became apparent we would need a new heater rather than a repair. Do Google searches first for a list you can check on your own to determine how serious the situation is - do not panic and do not phone the first emergency number! A friend recommended going directly to Home Depot who have all different options (gas, electric, tankless) and know all the various energy rebates for Seattle. Home Depot's service people put us on the phone with Fast Water Co. who scheduled their technician for Monday. This way we did not pay extra weekend costs. That technician pared down all the options once he saw the limitation of our space plus we were also alerted to the fact we needed to get up to code. Within a few hours he collected and installed a new heater that suited our needs. I also want to be frank with readers and mention Fast Co offers a rebate for such reviews. However, rest assured - we were very impressed with the speed and know-how they offered. more

I needed a new Hot water tank, my current tank was not providing enough hot water for multiple showers. I did the normal calling to various plumbing companies and asked Fast to come to my house for a no commitment bid to do the work. Fast had sold and installed my previous unit in 2000. I think this stuff is too expensive. I found the plumber very knowledgeable in what he was doing and qualified to do it correctly. I asked him every question I could think of to justify the expense and insure I was getting what I was paying for. All said it was installed by an expert and I feel very good with the results. more
