Fast Water Heater Company

I called Fast they came Fast. Dennis was one of the best company representatives I have ever worked with. He simply (?) did his job. Not an easy install, but he did a great job. You can tell he likes his job.I needed a loaner until some pasts came in, and I had hot water until they installed my new one. Dennis ran into my neighbor who he has worked with in the past. My neighbor said Dennis has done fantastic work for him for years. Good work, great employee!!! more

Dennis is one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. He just did a great install and took great care of my home. I say "just", because so many don't seem to. He did his job...WELL. He is a great representative of his company. I would recommend Fast Water Heaters and Dennis to anyone. They got there "fast" loaned me a tank until the next day when they could have some special parts on board. A great experience in a inconvenient situation. more

Good: The water heater installer came during the time period specified by the dispatcher. He was competent and worked very quickly. He also helped explained what needed to be done and why. He even cleaned up his work area and hauled off the old heater. All in all, well-done job.. Bad: Nothing really except the fact that the old water heater was out of code so there were additional costs but that had to be expected.. Improvements: I think it would be nice if the dispatcher had a list of additional items that would be required to assure the heater was valid for warranty work and was up to code along with the associated costs since the dispatcher would have the address. This way, the homeowner doesn't get quite surprised at the sticker shock if they find out that their area has a revised code and permit requirement.. Other: The installer did a good job and I had no complaints. Highly Recommend.. more

I've used Fast Water Heater Company for the last ten years. I just had them put in a hybrid Eternal GU145 water heater and to replace the Rheem tankless water heater which was put in 2008. This new hybrid water heater heats the water much faster...had too many problems with the Rheem. Fast Water Heater Company has been very professional and quick in responding to my problems. I highly recommend them. more

Visited the Seattle Home Show and FWHC convinced us to get a tank less water heater. Phone quote and on site quote were lower than the competition so we had FHWC instal the Eternal Condensing Hybrid GU 145S unit. Dennis the technician installed the unit in a very proffesional manner, cleaned up debris and took away the old water heater. A very nice and clean installation and on time. Works as advertised. I would highly recommend FWHC to resolve your water heater problems. more

Fast replaced an electric waterheater with a gas tankless unit. Arrived on time and completed within the time estimated. Provided paperwork to obtain those rebates currently available. I recommend Fast. more

Our 11-tyear old Kenmore gas hot water heater died late Thursday evening. I ordered a replacement from Sears the next morning based on their "guaranteed same day installation". When I checked on scheduling later that afternoon the nice lady from Sears revealed that they had lost my installation order and were calling FAST (the folks who do their installs) to reschedule. I decided to eliminate the middleman and my call to FAST a 3pm resulted in a new water heater installation at 9am the next morning. Mr. Smith was fast, friendly, knowledgeable and competent. Plus he cleaned up afterwards to the point where - but for the new water heater - one would never know he was there. Save yourself the hassle. Call FAST and ask for Mr. Smith. more

We had our water tank broken on Sunday. We could talk with someone in person on Sunday, they came with a loaner tank on Monday morning, and we got the new tank-less water heater by the end of Tuesday. We are happy with their job. The information was clearly explained. Thing went as we expected and we are happy. more

I recently had a new 50 gallon hot water heater installed. The job was very professional and extremely well done. The installer brought the tank I ordered on the phone and priced out any extras that he recommended. In addition to the new water heater I had him install a new expansion tank and a pvc pipe for the drain pan. After the job, the work was perfect and he cleaned everything up and left the house just as clean as when he arrived. Highly recommend! more

Fast installed our water heater this morning. All appears to be doing well. Cost was considerably more than the phone estimate, but codes have changed since 12 years ago when the original tank was installed. We're confident that now we're up to code and have a water heater that is guaranteed for 6 years. (Buy your own metal drip pan, tho.) more

I had to have a Hot water Heater replaced. the company was called, and came out the next day, and the following day, my hot water heater was installed. The company has excellent customer service. The installation process was smooth and installer discussed everything he did. They are prompt, courteous, and reasonable! more

FAST Water Heater Company had installed (eons ago) our previous water heater, and we were pleased then (and with how long it lasted). So when we needed a new water heater, we called FAST again. I selected the model we wanted over the phone, and they installed it the following day. The technician was very professional and personable, and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this company. They were prompt, effiecient, respectful and did a wonderful job not only installing my hot water heater but also at educating me on what my options were, as well as their relevance. I purchased the hot water heater from Home Depot and was a little worried due to a complaint I heard while in their store. However, once I contacted Fast Water Heater Company (they do the install for Home Depot, as well as Lowes, PSE and many other companies) I was completely at ease. I am a single female and was not taken advantage of at all be being forced, co-oerced or unknowingly persuaded into buying any additional services I may not have needed. As I said, the installer, Gordon, did a phenominal job of showing me my options, explaining their relevance to my specific installation situation, and letting ME choose what I wanted to do now. I will be calling them in the future when Tacoma gets around to changing my curbside water access, to install a new expansion tank on my hot water heater. I have complete faith and comfort in knowing that I can call them at any time with questions I might have. In Tacoma, a permit is required as well. Fast did a great job setting me up perfectly. All I had to do was call the number they gave me to set up an appointment with an inspector. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company to everyone! I was completely at ease for my vacation I left on two days after my installation. I knew there were no issues pending or anything nagging at my conscience reguarding my hot water heater. Fast Water Heater Company was great! They were contracted by Home Depot to install my water heater. I already knew from a friend that I was going to have to shell out a lot of money because of changes in codes and the city's recent greediness. (They did a fairly good estimate over the phone, without seeing the particulars of my home.) That said, Gordon was great! He actually arrived ahead of schedule, was very thorough and upfront about the upgrades that were needed and why (my old water heater was 28 years old, so a lot of codes had changed) and gave me the option to continue or back out before starting installation. He was polite, cleaned up after himself, and my dog loved him! He gave me some good feedback on what to look for and what to watch out for in finding someone to replumb my house -- a project I've been contemplating for a few years now. I just wish he was in general plumbing, too. I'd hire him in an instant! Oh -- I do get a $25 rebate from them for posting two reviews, but there is no requirement that they be good reviews. If I had received poor service, I would definately be telling you about it. Fortunately, I have nothing but good things to say about them! more
