Called us right after we had set up with Sears for purchase & installment of new gas water heater. It was set up for installation the next morning. Arrived on time and was done in 2 hrs. Explained what they were going to do and answered all our questions. more

Good: I liked the fact Dennis (the installer) arrived right on time, made an assessment as to what had to be done to replace the 15 year old water heater and update certain parts to come up to the current code. He was very quick and efficient and very pleasant and professional.. Bad: I was a bit shocked by the additional add on prices to the water heater. Since this was the first time replacing our water heater I didn't realize that the added parts to update it to code were going to be $700 more than the quoted price.. Improvements: I believe that when you call to get information on replacement costs that the customer service person should be more truthful as to how much the additional pieces could cost you. This way you can be more prepared instead of having a sticker shock.. Other: All in all we are very pleased with the new water heater and the company. Dennis is definitely a wonderful installer that takes his job seriously and does it effortlessly - his customer service skills are top notch! And thought the $1,700 total of the installation was shocking my husband and I feel it is worth it knowing that everything was done to code - no worries. Yes you could probably get it cheaper but I would rather go to the best than settle.. more

Fast Water Heater Company was true to name, and was indeed fast. Larry hauled away my old water heater and installed the new one quickly. He didn't mind that I hovered over him during his work, and even explained step by step what he was doing, so that I felt comfortable with the work he was performing. Thanks Fast! more

My husband and I are “do-it-yourselfers,” but installing a water heater was beyond our comfort level, so we had Fast Water Heater Company install the water heater we purchased through Sears. Their installation was cheaper than if we had gone through Lowe's or Home Depot. Brandon did the job quickly, was friendly, and was willing to answer our many questions (we like to educate ourselves). He told us exactly what parts were required by code, and what parts were optional; he showed us all the different parts and what they do. Dennis came out and gave an estimate for either a standard hot water heater, or a tankless. We went with the tankless. They did the install and the weekend, so we didn't have to take time off. They actually called me on the installation day saying that they could come earlier than scheduled. Collin is the guy who installed, he's very professional, polite and great at what he's doing. Our elec water heater suddenly sprung a leak and as I was only 2 days out of hospital following organ transplant needed hot water quickly to prevent infections. We wanted to convert to gas/tankless but could not wait days for gas line extension so called Fast Water Heater (had done prev repair on old heater) and they had someone out same day and installed next day. To be honest didn't compare pricing as timing was the priority for this job. more
