Our water heater died on Sunday and they were there installing a replacement by Monday morning. Very knowledgeable and thorough, and did a great job of explaining code requirements. The quality of the work was excellent! more

Called them on advice from a friend when I noticed that my water heater was on its last legs. They were exteremly fast and efficient living up to their name. I called around 8:30am and they said they could have someone out same day at whatever time worked for me. I set a time and they installation guy called when he was on his way giving me a heads up. When he arrived he took a look at my old heater, did a thorough inspection and then clearly told me what he was going to do, why and asked if I wanted a few extra things (easy shut off valve) which I declined. He then got right to work and installed the new tank in no time. When he was doing the post installation inspection he found that the old twist valve that I declined to have upgraded was failing and leaking...a good catch...he then installed the easy valve and we were good to go. Overall a great experience and I would definately recommend them, especially if it was in an emergency which luckily for us it wasn't! more

I found Fast Water Heater Company through Home Depot and chose them to replace my water heater. The guys who showed up for the job were friendly and courteous. They showed up on time and completed the job in about 1.5 hours. While installing, they educated me on the different components of the water heater and answered all of my questions. They cleaned up after themselves and left me with a great new water heater. The cost to install ended up being much more than the quote I received on the phone. I wish I had known in advance that it would take so much to bring the water heater installation up to code. more

Had a water heater in my home start leaking on Friday evening and called Fast Water Heater company Saturday Morning at 8:00 am. They arrived at 10:00 am and provided a replacement. My water heater went out on Saturday morning. I had shopped around all weekend, debated a lot and finally called Home Depot on Monday mid day. They were happy to help me and set me up with FAST Water Heater Company for that same afternoon. I was told that Brandon would be the technician and that he would be at the house between 2 and 4 pm. He showed up on time, actually even a few minutes before 2pm. He was professional and knowledgeable. He explained all that needed to be done thoroughly, answered all my questions, and then went straight to work. The job was done in less than 90 minutes, very FAST, a job well done, and he left the work area clean. I would highly recommend FAST for anyone who likes professional, friendly and knowledgeable customer service. If I had one negative thing to say, is I wish that Home Depot would have quoted me a higher price to begin with, because the job turned out to be quiet more expensive than I was quoted over the phone. It was due to the fact that the new water heater, even though the same size as the old one, required modification to the venting system, needed an installation of an overflow tank and replacement of a rigid gas line with a flexible one and a replacement of both hot and cold water lines. All of these things were required to bring me to code and were not just a sales pitch to get more money out of the sale. I did understand that but never the less, I would’ve much rather known up front the higher price rather than being surprised by the high final cost of the job. Never the less, the new water heater is working great and the whole experience overall, was very good. I would do business with FAST Water Heater Company again and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a new water heater. more

They replaced our 50 gallon gas hot water tank and brought us up to code (our previous tank was installed 19 years ago). They were able to schedule our installation according to our schedule and they showed up when they said they would be there. The gentleman doing the installation, Brandon, was friendly and efficient. In checking our system, it was discovered that our water pressure was up over 90psi which could potentially lead to problems later on. So, In addition to the water tank we had our failing water pressure reducer replace as well. There was no hard sell, which I liked. I would definitely recommend Fast Water Heater Company to anyone needing to. more

It is too bad that they are the only contractor for HomeDepot. The original quote for a 6 yrs GE tank was ~800 include installation. Then contractor Rob came here and quote me another extra $1k (1800 total) with all the additional work, expanding vent, earthquake strap, replace expansion tank, etc. Later I called Lowes and another contractor. They came here and do some of the additional work that was asked by Rob without charging extra. Also, the vent and expansion tank were absolutely fine and no need to replace. I believe Fast Water Heater just saw the water leaking in the tank when they got here, and start ripping me off, assuming I will do whatever it takes to fix it. more

Our water heater developed a "fast leak" (from base corrosion and a failing shut-off valve) over the New Year's weekend, which was a busy time for plumbers already with the cold weather we were having. Brandon from FWHC came within 36 hours of our call, which we appreciated since we'd had to shut off the whole water supply to the house. He made some code improvements and installed the self-cleaning heater for the lower model’s price. He explained every step, worked quickly and carefully and had us "back in hot water", so to speak, within an hour of completion. We were impressed at the call center tech's attention to detail, the company's adherence to municipal codes and Brandon's care & attention to detail.
