Well, I've had my hair done by some truly amazing people here in Nashville. But when I walked into Elan last Thursday, I wasn't even really sure if I wanted to get my hair done. You see, I'm one of those people who knows what I want to look like, but I don't know how to tell someone what to do to get me there. But lately, my hair (which hadn't been touched up or trimmed in 6 months) was getting on my nerves, looking ratty, and prettymuch only looked good when I tossed it up into a ponytail or pinned it back with about 10 bobby pins. So I decided to just trust them and let them fix my hair. Turns out, Brian Elliott was available for a walk-in appointment, and I described what I wanted him to do: leave my hair long (I know short hair works for me, so it often gets chopped off when I say ""do whatever you want""), ""wake up"" my color, and make it basically maintenance-free, since I hate styling my hair. \r
Brian started by giving me highlights and lowlights, then evened up some of my choppy and disconnected layers. Then he gave me long bangs, which I was thrilled about, since they highlighted my eyes!!\r
Usually I have to wait about a week to know if I love my hair or not.... and usually, I don't, and I go back to get it tweaked. I LOVE MY HAIR!!! It's easy to fix, the color is perfect, and it looks really healthy. \r
