Denise is master of the highlights 2/19/2012

Go to Denise Shadwick if you want a great experience all around. She is great at cutting and styling hair, and is, in my humble opinion, the most incredible colorist I have ever experienced. Every time I go to her, my blonde highlights look clean and natural without fail. Her personality is just icing on the cake, and I always leave in a great mood, with compliment-worthy hair. more

Elle Anderson is a true professional. She has been cutting my hair for three years and I haven't ever left the salon with a bad cut or color. In fact, I usually leave happier with what she has done than what I imagined. Elle is fun and easy to talk with, very courteous and is very skilled at her craft. more

Denise Fabulous! 2/18/2012

I renamed Denise years ago. Denise is truly a master of her craft. I've never once had a bad cut with Denise. I used to live out of state and flew back to Nashville for a couple of years for my haircuts with Denise. I usually get a more professional styled cut due to my line of work but on several occasions have had some""fun"" stuff done for vacations. Wild styles and even a silver dye job for a trip to New Zealand a few years back. Thing is, Denise can do it all. more

Knowing how to flawlessly cut thick blonde hair is a true talent. So many times I have given stylists the benefit of doubt and ended up with a cut that had every scissor mark visible. A big thank you to Denise at Elan for knowing how to handle different hair types and always getting it right. I would highly recommend booking with her! more

I like sex, but i LOOOOOVE getting my hiar done! 2/17/2012

I have lived in Nashville for 4 years now, and I am so happy I finally found Elan, more specifically, Caitlin! I had resolved to doing my own hair, after many a trial-and-error with various other salons in Nashville. It's nice to have a stylist that LISTENS to you, and works to give you what you want. I am VERY specific when it comes to my hair and I like to change it up pretty often. She has nailed it every time! If i wake up and suddenly, I HAVE TO HAVE bangs, boom, she squeezes me in! If I'm feelin' a Farrah moment coming on, she has the perfect color of ash already in mind. When my Zooey Deschanel phase kicked in, she took me from ice blond to brown, like ""New Girl Who?!"" Caitlin is my hero! I have received a few Groupons as gifts and GC's to other places, because my friends and family know how much I love getting my hair done, unfortunate those have just made great paper shreds to line the bottom of my bird cage. I WILL ONLY GO TO CAITLIN! more

Brandon Tynes is my favorite stylist I've had yet! 2/16/2012

I love getting my hair done by Brandon Tynes! He has been an absolute magician in finding the perfect red hue that matches my skin tone and blue eyes perfectly. I have never gotten more compliments on my hair than I have after Brandon has started doing it, and I must say I have become quite spoiled by the great results. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new stylist! more

Emily Rasmussen is a ray of sunshine 2/15/2012

It had been a hard day for this private eye. Rain had pounded Nashville Now street lights cast long shaddows. My next stop was my last hope. I crossed the street and went into the salon. A curvey blond indicated a chair. I sat. Scissors danced! Fingers massaged! Now I was feeling better. I looked up and saw a different person than the one who had come in. I was human again. Emily is such an amazing hairstylist. I feel like a million bucks after every cut and color. I love that she knows all the in styles and gives me honest feedback on what would look best on me. She gives the best head massage ever! She is the sweetest and funniest hairstylist I have ever been to and because of this I will not go to anyone else. Most Relaxing!! 2/15/2012

I have been going to Emily for several years and have always been happy with the results. Emily is very concerned about providing the best results possible and I have loved that about her. She also gives the most wonderful head massage as she shampoos. Recently I went to Elan for a color and cut and it was honestly the best experience I have ever had in a salon. The salon is beautiful, the stylists are very friendly and the service from Emily was second to none. I left feeling pampered and very relaxed. I can't wait to do it again! Thanks Emily! more

Getting ready for Spring today at Elan with fab new blonde highlights from Elle Anderson! Last visit I got the Keratin Express Blowout...which is great for dry worn out hair! Today I am following it up the Rene Furterer Karite Conditioning Treatment...which is much needed after the cold weather and heater being on in the house constantly! I only trust Elle with my hair! 2/10/2012

I first met Elle at Elan several years ago when I was looking for a great stylist, and have been coming back for her wonderful service ever since! From that first visit to my most recent, I am always welcomed and really feel that she listens to what I want whenever I sit in her chair. I have very thick, heavy, wavy/straight hair with cowlicks and a very sensitive scalp to boot. Elle has been the only stylist who knows how to be gentle but also give me a dynamite hair cut despite all of my hair issues. I am an advocate for her skills at cutting a proper bang (besides her amazing abilities at hair cuts and color too)! I've been to other stylists, and it's like they only will cut a few wisps, whereas Elle knows exactly what I describe to her and I always leave happy (and looking great). She has THE best sense of style, not only with hair but it outfits too, which makes trusting her with up-to-date hair styles and trends so effortless. Every time I see her, she's so excited to give me a great service which translates into such a wonderful experience. No one can deny her zeal and passion for hair! Elle is THE best! more

Just moved back to Nashville, and the best part is I get to go back to Caitlin at Elan! She always does a perfect job and everyone there is super nice. Most guys hit supercuts or whatever, but just fork over a couple extra bucks and go see Caitlin. You won't look rediculous anymore! \r more

Elan and Chadd is the BEST EVER!!! 2/10/2012

I am so picky about my hair but loves for my hair stylists to just do their magic without me bringing in a picture or telling them what to do as they cut each strand of hair. I had a hair stylists years ago that moved away that I could do that with. That was 4 years ago until this last summer...I was referred to Elan to see Chadd. I was told he was the best and that he is!!! I had just had a baby and he did me right...now my hair looks better and healthier than ever...the color is fabulous and I get to just come and enjoy the atmoshpere with no worries...Chadd just does his magic and magic it is!!! but one more thing, he is now like family to me!!! I love him so much...he has the best spirit and personality....Love Love Love eveything about Elan and Chadd!!! more
