Highly recommend 12/14/2009

This was my third trip to Dolce and my third stylist. Dolce has tier system where those who are newly employed begin at level 1 and also charge the least. My past two visits I chose to go with a level 1 because I figure that if Dolce hired them, they must be good. I wear my hair in a ponytail most days, but if I actually style it, I wear it straight. Carol gave me a great cut and I was happy with it. She was also very friendly. The only thing that bothered me was that she styled it using a round brush, when I usually wear it straight with a flat iron. Although it was cute, I would never style my hair that way. Before arriving to my appointment, I thought it was nice they called and left me reminders as time got closer. HOWEVER, when I finally went to my appointment excited they were not as nice as I thought they would be. It took a couple of minutes for someone to acknowledge me. The atmosphere was stale and not too friendly, like I will in LA or something. I got my hair and make-up done for a special occasion. The girl that did my make-up was LEARNING TO DO MAKEUP, young, and made me feel uncomfortable. I understand you have to start somewhere but not on someone who is paying big money. That, I was not happy but I tried to give her a chance. For her sake, I will keep her nameless. The makeup wasn’t too bad but come to found out she made my foundation two shades darker than my skin tone! I am fair skinned, she made me tan! Where did she learn this in cosmetology?! The lady who did my hair was nice but it was over priced for the little time she worked on me. My suggestion if they even care is to work on your customer service and get more professionals. The “level system” is pretty ridiculous. I guess for a better outcome/visit I have to be stuck up and snooty to fit in. No thanks I will take my business else where. The Arrowhead location 10/28/2009

I went to Dolce to get a facial the day before my sister's wedding. As the maid of honor I had to deal with a lot of stress in planning her bridal shower and bachelorette party and the facial was just the thing I needed to relax so I could enjoy my sister's big day with her! On the day of her wedding me, my sister, and the rest of the bridal party all went to Dolce for hair and makeup. We all ended up looking like movie stars! They even provided a limo free of charge to pick us up and drop us off at the ceremony location. Dolce is an excellent salon and I highly reccomend it! Pros: Best facial ever! Cons: none! more

Great Service and Wonderful End Result 10/6/2009

Many of my friends had talked about going to Dolce for haircuts and dye jobs so when I got a gift card to try their services I figured it wouldn't hurt and I am SO GLAD I did. \r \r From the very beginning everyone was so nice and helpful. I went in to my appointment with minimal thoughts on how I wanted my hair so the girl who cut my hair (i'm blanking on her name) offered suggestions and showed close examples (when possible) on girls in the salon. When we decided on the cut and went to wash my hair she told me all about the shampoo and conditioner she was using and told me the benefits it would give. Then when she was styling my hair how we discussed, she walked me through how to do the same thing on my own in a way that I actually was able to do once I got home.\r \r I had a dinner with friends that night and everybody raved about my new haircut and absolutely loved it. Gloria is the best aesthetician you will ever meet. She cares about your skin, and how you are treating yourself. She makes sure it is as important to you as it is to her. She is so professional. Gloria will work with you to make sure you are getting the kind of care and service you want. I have not tried a massage a here but I would love to. It's so relaxing and refreshing. more

Best Place for Affordable Spa Decadence 9/29/2009

I started coming to Dolce for waxing and have been addicted since. The ambience the salon exudes can always turn a stressful day into a relaxing one. Kacie has been doing my waxing for years and I will never let anyone else touch my brows. She is the epitome of a professional and really listens to my requests. Moreover, I have had several facials and peels with Kacie. She always takes perfect care of my face and explains each step as she goes along. Kacie is extremely knowledgeable of the products and the any skin problems I a experiencing and is able to recommend real solutions. I receive compliments about my skin all the time and I’m always proud to refer them to my aesthetician. \r \r I recently began having my hair done at Dolce as well. Karen is my stylist and, again, I couldn't be happier. I went in ready to shave my head thinking I really wanted drastic change and that I was tired of growing out my hair. After a five minute conversation, and giving Karen carte blanche with my hair, I left--hair in tact--with my growing locks, really wonderful highlights and the best cut of my life! It wasn’t drastic change, but it was change enough to make me fully satisfied—so were my other two friends that I referred immediately!\r \r Thank you Kacie, Karen and the rest of the Dolce team! I would just like to let you know what a pleasure it is coming to Dolce. I have been a client almost since you opened the first Salon in Chandler! My last few cuts have been with Rochelle who is absolutely wonderful. She always takes care of me and listens to what I am looking for. I find that so important as I have been to places where I have walked out in tears. Dolce 9/12/2009

Recently went into Dolce for a mini pedicure. It was a great little feet pick me up. It is definitely mini, but it does get the job done, without frills. The tech was pretty flat/lifeless, but that was fine. It would be nice if there were magazines available. It gets a little boring just sitting there watching Dolce TV. The services are worth the price because the staff at Dolce is friendly and treats everyone like a princess! All of my co-workers have commented on the major changes in my skin, and finally I decided to round all of them up and take them to Dolce and Chandler to share my secret weapon! Needless to say, I have recommended Dolce to countless women and encourage anyone who is somewhat interested in visiting the spa to set up an appt, because you will not be disappointed! My mom had a gift card which had a credit left on it, she had such a nice experience she gave me the card to use the balance. I only had time for a mini pedicure before a trip out of town and I’m glad I chose dolce, it was a very pleasant and relaxing service, I vow to go back! \r Then...before heading out of town, I wanted a quick pampering session. My husband already had an appointment for a haircut, so I thought I’d meet him there for a brow wax and spray tan. The customer service on the phone before I even arrived made me remember why I wanted to go back to dolce, they are professional and courteous from beginning to end, and with all of the services they provide, my husband and I can get it all done in one place! After $550.00 in two days I had to cover up my hi-lights because they couldn't get the color right even after showing them what color I wanted. Also, the Director came to tell me I needed to pay the bill and had to be escorted up to the front to make sure I paid my bill?? more

Dolce Salon in Chandler - Excellent Service 9/3/2009

Last Saturday I had an appointment with Dayna to get my hair highlighted. It was my second visit to Dayna and I loved the last set of highlights she put in my hair. Of course I was a little worried that it might now be as fabulous as my first visit, once again Dayna did a fabulous job. She know exactly how to pick the perfect highlight combo to frame my face with and make my hair look natural. I have bounced around from stylist to stylist since my last one left Dolce and I have finally found one I know that I can trust. \r \r Plus, Dolce has become so much more affordable that it is worth visiting. I love the coupons they send me every couple of months. With the economy down, it really makes my decision to visit Dolce that much easier!! Thank you Dolce! \r more

I have lived in several big cities and paid the top price and Dolce at Borgotta is worth every cent! If you want the absolute best color, especially blonde you want AUTUMN! \r \r Also, for cuts with detail, precision, and great energy you want Celia at the same local. \r \r The environment is peaceful but trendy, the service is top notch, and every detail down to the shampoo chairs is exquisite!!! Great place to get away 9/3/2009

I had a hair dresser who knew exactly what I was asking for. She knew what would look good on me, and my haircut came out great. I also had a nail specialist tell me how picky she was with her gel nail polish, and she proved to me that she was. My toes never looked better. Once again I had the best service at Dolce Borgata in Scottsdale. Laura does my nails and they are perfect. One of the best things about Dolce is that they understand my lifestyle. I have an updated sophisticated business desire for my hair and nails and they always come through with just the right suggestion for colors etc. I also look forward to enjoying their make-up bar this Friday as I have them custom blend and match my expensive designer lipstick for half the price. Dolce Salon 9/1/2009

I had my hair colored at Dolce in July and I really liked the color. I love the salon and simple things, like the sink chairs, are really comfortable. They were running great summer specials as well. What I didn't like is that I wasn't told about the $10 add on for toner or the extra bowl. When I first asked about it at the desk there was no explanation. But I did call and they took the charges off. Overall a nice experience. Pros: Really nice salon Cons: surprise charges more

The Greatest Salon 8/31/2009

I went to the Scottsdale/Borgata location for the first time on Sunday, December 20 and saw Harley for a haircut. I love this location, the staff was very professional and Harley was great! I called that same morning and even though they were booked for the day, they were able to work me in due to a cancellation. Harley was very busy that day due to a large wedding party, but he took his time to talk with me and didn’t make me feel like he was in a rush at all. When I go to the salon I like to get away and relax, if I didn’t already know about the large wedding party and the busy schedule, I would have never guessed it with Harley’s demeanor and relaxed attitude. I truly appreciate the great service, not to mention the great haircut and style, that I received during my visit. I will continue to refer my friends and family to Dolce!
