Great pedicure 7/20/2009

I had a spa pedicure and it was great. My technician Abby was very friendly and she did a great job. Checking in and check out only took a couple of minutes. The pedicure area was very clean. Great Place for a Gel Manicure! 7/17/2009

\r I just visited this spa on July 14th for a Gel Manicure. This was my first time having this type of nail appointment done, with a nail tech named Abby. I have been continuously using her as she has been the most ""gentle"" nail tech with my cuticles, most other nail techs at other places file/scrub hard enough that my nails were sore the next day or so.\r \r Once the painting is done, the massage begins. Again, Abby is very gentle and doesn't snap your wrist back or dig into your arms (unfortunately I have had bad experiences at other places). She wanted to make sure she wasn't too harsh, towels used weren't too hot, etc. I had a very enjoyable visit and my nails look great. \r \r Cost is high, but Dolce has been running coupons in the local paper that help make it more affordable, which is great! I'm definately heading back in for another visit. more

Great place to go for wonderful hair services. 7/16/2009

I've been going to Dolce now for the past 8 years. Everytime I go it has always been a wonderful experience. The sylist know exactly what I want and they do a wonderful job. They also, are very educated on what products to get just for my hair. I feel very comfortable and confident I will get a wonderful service each time I go with any stylist from level 1 to level 4. my daughter took me there for mom's day. I will never go anywhere else for my haircut. It was beautiful. after years and years of trying to find a good stylist, finally success! It was perfect, and I have never had a better cut. thanks dulce! Pros: best hairstylists more

One of a Kind 7/9/2009

I visited the Chandler location on August 30, 2009 for a eyebrow wax and haircut/treatment. It's amazing how clean brows brighten up my whole face. Dayna always does a great job of working with my hair. I began with the deep conditioning treatment which I am now addicted to. It leaves my hair shiny and smooth for weeks. Dayna then gave me an updated cut and I'm happier than ever. I enjoyed the summer special prices again and can't wait to see what specials are advertised next. Pros: Services, Value more

Salon/Spa 7/8/2009

I have been going to Dolce for services for the past 5 years. The atmosphere is exquisite and the staff is friendly and professional. After experiencing such great services, Dolce has “spoiled” me! I now have very high expectations of any service that I receive…whether it be a full highlight and cut, massage, waxing, or a pedicure. I have been consistently disappointed when choosing to get these services at places other than Dolce. Although Dolce may seem pricey at times, it is worth every penny to be fully satisfied. I absolutely love the online booking which makes it convenient to book appointments. Plus, the coupons they send me and have online are an added bonus!!! more

I go to the Scottsdale Borgata Location, and am so pleased to of found such a top class spa. I travel for a living and am always on the look out for great spa's. Laura does gorgeous nails and is lots of fun to chat with. Gloria is a must for a facial and massage that will make you melt all the while looking fab! I love going to Dolce :) Pros: Dolce Dollars! Cons: Havent found one yet more

Great massage! 7/6/2009

I attended the Summer Spaah Day at the Arrowhead location on June 28. I was given a therapeutic massage by Josh Culver. I carry a lot of tension in my back and shoulders and was experiencing a lot of discomfort. Josh did a wonderful job of releasing the muscles without causing me pain during or after the massage. I have been to many massage therapists and it is rare to find one who is gently and effectively does their job. It was much appreciated! This was my first visit to Dolce but it won't be my last. more

Great Salon/Spa 7/3/2009

It is in a great location and a large size salon that seems to have a lot of talented hair stylists/colorists. I've only been there a couple of times but have been very pleased overall and it is so great when they run special deals to help make it more affordable to go there. Pros: All the hair stylists/colorists seem to be very talented! Cons: Some of younger girls at checkout can be unfriendly! more

Arrowhead Location gets Five Stars 7/2/2009

From the moment I walked in the door, I knew that my experience at Dolce would be exceptional. The décor is trendy and eclectic, but still soothing and comfortable. The staff was also trendy and eclectic, but also professional and helpful. I started with my massage with Cassandra. Let me just say right now that I have never had a better massage. She had a sixth sense about how to make me feel at ease while she worked out all of the kinks and kneaded away all of my stress. While still feeling completely relaxed and in a total post-massage daze, I was escorted downstairs to Stacy for my pedicure. She eased me into the pedicure chair and helped me to transition by offering me a cup of delicious coffee. We had a nice chat while she expertly took care of my feet – cleaning, exfoliating, and polishing! After my pedicure, Heather retrieved me for an expert eyebrow and lip wax. She made sure that my eyebrows were shaped perfectly and frame my eyes for maximum effect. I appreciate every single person I interacted with today at Dolce. Overall, a fabulous experience that I will happily recommend to my friends and family!\r \r Pros: Best Massage I ever received Cons: Products are a bit spendy more

LOVE DOLCE 7/1/2009

I went to Lauren at first because my friend had a coupon. She did a great job - eventhough everyone said I shouldn't go to a level one for the style of haircut I wanted to get (went from LONG LONG hair to an A cut) but she did AMAZING! \r \r I tried to get my cut touched up at another (less expensive - Flair) salon and they completely ruined my hair. I was very upset and waited a month before I went back to Lauren to have her fix it. She was so super nice to me and fixed my cut FOR FREE! She is amazing! SEE LAUREN!! Dolce Salon & Spa, Scottsdale Borgata 6/30/2009

My experience with Dolce Salon and Spa at the Scottsdale Borgata was incredible. Before booking my first appointment I asked the receptionist for her recommendation for a stylist known for long/layered looks and was referred to a stylist that gave me exactly what I was looking for. I have never had a better cut and my stylist gave me the best blow-out of my life! The overall ambiance at Dolce Salon and Spa is relaxing, luxurious, and fun. From the moment I walked through the salon doors I was greeted with friendly faces and definitely received first class treatment through the entirety of my visit. Although the stylist will recommend products for you, they are left in a ""bucket"" at check-out and you are never pressured to purchase anything. I will be back to the Dolce Salon & Spa at the Borgata for years and styles to come! Pros: Best Customer Service, Best Cut/Style! Cons: N/A more

Spa visit 6/29/2009

I had my first visit to Dolce salon and Spa June 20,2009.I didn’t have an appointment but felt I really needed a massage. The front desk people scheduled me a massage with Ike who gave a great massage ,he worked the tension out of my neck and shoulders and made me feel quite comfortable with his draping. Following the massage I had a pedicure the chairs are comfortable and the scents of the products were delicious. I couldn’t tell you the name of my nail person because I was in never ,never land. She ended with a French polish ,and a week later looks as good as the first day I had it done. Upon checking out I learned of all the ways to get discounts on future services with their Dolce Dollars program, I have to say it is one of the best programs in the valley. I booked my next massage for 3 weeks later with Ike and am looking forward to my 90 minute treatment.I am having other services but haven’t decided which one because their menu has a large selection ,which makes it difficult to decide.\r \r \r Kerry Baca\r Pros: Excellent service Cons: very busy more

I have been going to Dolce Salon and Spa in Chandler for several years now and i would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality salon/spa experience. I have gotten hair cuts, pedicures, massages, body treatments, waxing, etc. Without a doubt, I have a better experience at Dolce than any other salon. The service I get most often at Dolce is the Swedish massage. If I am looking for a special treat, I will get the combo massage. It is absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. Also, I have never had a bad hair cut and my brows always look great. Client Coordinator's are generally helpful and the professionals are always thorough with their work. Also, be sure to sign up for their VIP list! You will get great deals in the mail that make spoiling yourself irresistible. Pros: Always a good experience Cons: Nada more

Wonderful Service 6/28/2009

I have been going to Dolce Salon and Spa in Chandler for about 4 years now and I have never had bad service. The staff is always nice and accomodating. I have had several services there and cannot complain about any of them. \r \r I was getting ready to go to Mexico and decided to get a Bikini wax for the first time. I was a little nervous and afraid that it would be painful. I told the technician it was my first time and she not only explained each step to me but took her time. My Favorite Spa Escape! 6/28/2009

I am very particular about my hair, my friends say it's a ""VIRGO"" thing! When I first moved here from Chicago, I was struggling trying to find a salon in the West Valley that could give me the service and the style I was used to at my favorite Michigan Ave. salon. I was so happy to find DOLCE! I was DOUBLE THRILLED when they moved to Arrowhead! Each stylist is skilled, friendly, and the products they use are a AWESOME! The salon is fun yet professional, gives you an exclusive feeling, and the staff is beyond friendly! I've had pedicures, Valentines Day couple massages, highlights (real platinum is hard to find!) great cuts, facials, waxing, nails, I think next I'm looking into the lipo disolve! They always seem to fit me in, although I can make appointments online anytime. Pros: Fun relaxing atmosphere Cons: Need more time to off t o enjoy spa days more

Dolce Salon and Spa is AMAZING 6/25/2009

It was a couple years ago but my wife treated me to an hour-long Hefeweizen Facial Treatment at the Chandler, AZ location that was simply amazing!! The esthetician, Bethany, was a miracle worker. She listened to my concerns and crafted the perfect blend of cleansing and relaxation benefits at the same time. Having had massages and treatments at the Phoenician and Biltmore, I found the staff and facilities to be top-notch and very relaxing. Bethany deserves a lot of praise for her skill, demeanor and professionalism and I can say I truly enjoyed the experience as a whole. I constantly tell my friends and co-workers to go to Dolce before they go anywhere else knowing they will love it and haven't heard a complaint yet! Keep up the great work and I hope to be back soon for a couples massage.\r \r on 5/9/09 I went back to Dolce and Wow! This is the second time I have used Dolce Salon and Spa and I must say it is definitely the best in town. My wife and I treated ourselves to a one-hour companion massage and it was incredible. We chose the combination massage so we could get an idea of the different types of massage available. My favorites were the swedish traditional parts and the hot stone therapies. My therapist, Maria, was very professional and also very personal in her approach and made sure to go over my areas of concern and where I wanted her to focus during the session. She should be rewarded for her skill, demeanor and technique. I would highly recommend anyone with a painful or stiff back to try the stone-based therapies as they really loosen and work out the soreness. I have another appointment set this week and can't wait! The most relaxing salon/spa I've ever been to! 6/24/2009

Dolce is without a doubt the best salon/spa I have ever been to. I have been going to Dolce for 4+ years and not once have had a bad experience. In fact I just went today, got my eyebrows done by Naveea (please excuse my spelling), and my hair done by Carol. Both did phenomenal work. As for the service at the front desk, I thought they were more than accommodating, and made sure to exceed all of my needs. I just love the whole atmosphere at Dolce, from the waterfall wall to the blue lighting, if you need a day to unwind and be pampered, Dolce is the place. more

Dolce Salon in Chandler 6/24/2009

I got the ""Summer menu"" in the mail and was intrigued by the Gel Nail Polish/ Toe Polish Service. I called to make an appointment for a polish change for my nails & toes with the gel polish. I was called later that evening and was told that I would HAVE to book a mini mani and pedi in order to receive the Gel polish. Although I had just recently had both mani/pedi, I kept the appointment. When I arrived at Dolce, I was greeted by manicurist immediately. I explained to her that I was interested in having the gel polish added to my services. She asked me if I knew what the gel polish was and I admitted that I did not. It sounded self explanatory to me. Once she explained that product would be added to my nail and that it would need maintenance, I realized this what not what I thought it was. We both agreed that it should be more specific in the list of services. It also would've been nice if the front desk staff was aware of this type of service. I ended up getting a basic manicure and it was lovely! more
