Your staff helped my son and his wife pick a dishwaser -- my wife is an invalid and I'm r,ecuperatihg, Richard was our deliverer and installer and he did the usual fine DVD job -- intelligent, polite and highly competent. Dv D remians our favorite store for appliances. more

Want to recognize Russ Wolf who was the salesman working with us in the purchase of a new oven range. Very much appreciate the time he shared with us showing us various features and not just trying to sell us something. The delivery person (Lyle I think was his name) was very efficient in the installing of our new range hood and oven. Very pleased all around. more

Excellent job. 8/10/2013

Richard was our refrigerator installer. He worked hard removing our old one and installing our new French door refrig. Our house is small and it is challenging getting appliances in and out. We would recommend Dick Van Dyke for all our appliances. more

Excellent Service 8/8/2013

Our dishwasher had "died" so we took a trip to Dick Van Dyke Appliance World in Bloomington to get a new one. Our salesman, Russ, was excellent, had a wonderful sense of humor and very knowledgeable on all products. Unfortunatly for Russ, though, when the serviceman (Lyle) came to install our new dishwasher he found the problem on our old and and fixed it. We were very gratefuly since we will hopefully be moving in a year and really didn't want to have to buy a new one. We will definitely go there for our appliances in the future and I have been telling everyone about the wonderful service. more

We have had good experience with DVD all along, we recently purchased all new kitchen appliances and didnt really look anywhere else. Our experience with Angie was excellent and our delivery with Richard was excellent also. more

Dryer button not working 8/7/2013

i called to request a technician and spoke with Melisa. a service tech could not come out until Saturday because everyone is booked up. Melisa expressed an apology for the delay and said usually they have same day service. She also explained that i might incur a $50 service charge if the repair is not related to a manufacture defect. everything she said followed the warranty that i have and i am pleased with her service. more

My 25 year old refrigerator stopped cooling properly late night on 8/1/2013. I called Appliance World at 8:30am on 8/2/2013. Melisa was very helpful in setting me up for an appointment for that day. Jim showed up at scheduled time after calling as specified. He quickly found problem. He had parts on truck and had problem fixed very quickly. I proceeded to ask his opinion on a new refrigerator I was considering buying when I remodel in a couple months. He was very helpful with his opinion of this appliance plus other appliances for my kitchen. I will definitely buy my appliances from Appliance World when the time comes. I truly appreciate Jim's excellent service and his expertise and helpful advise. I only wish he could get credit for my sale. more
