Great visit feel a lot better about my eyes time was taken to inform me of what was going on with me the doctor was outstanding

Worst

I spent almost 3 hours there for a yearly appointment. Most of it was just waiting. 1/2 as long appointment with more discussion about test results would be better.

My Visit 3/31/2011

My visit with Dr. Pinsky was pleasant. The environment is very professional. My exam was very through as always. Dr. Pinsky is the best. She puts you at ease and shows concern for her patients. Usually when I go to the doctor, I don't ask questions, but she makes me feel comfortable and she answers your questions with patience and care. She is very honest with her answers. more

Sheduled doctor was out sick which I can understand but the office seemed very disorganized, not all my questions were answered and I left feeling rushed. Hopefully next visit will be better but if not I will seek other sources. more

Too Long 3/27/2011

I arrived at the office for an annual exam and it was nearly 2 hours before I left. This was the longest I have ever been at an Optometry office and I didn't even order glasses or contacts. The wait before being screened was far too long and every time I come in I have to fill out paperwork again. The administrative personnel really need to leverage the use of computers instead of having to fill out by the paperwork by hand all the time. Also, I had to sit and wait for 10 minutes until special exam rooms were free prior to seeing the Doctor. I then waited over 20 minutes in the exam room for the Doctor to come in and give me an eye exam. more

I have always been satisfied with the service at Chesterfield Optometric Center but the wait on 3/26/2011 was absolutely ridiculous. more

We came in knowing that this might not be the easiest experience for my child who is neurologically atypical. The staff was alerted regarding our concerns and BENT OVER BACKWARDS to accommodate us. We were able to switch technicians for the initial testing to help with my daughter's comfort level. (Both technicians were qualified...I simply saw the need for a different personality to make the connection and asked for a change to increase our success). Dr. Grover came out to say hello ahead of time since I had alerted the staff of our potential issues with anxiety. What a great and thoughtful thing to do for us! And we accomplished our objective: we confirmed that my daughter has healthy eyes and can see well. However, her motor difficulties extend to her eyes and we have some excellent suggestions and support to help her further! I would highly recommend this practice for children of all abilities. more

Not interested in being helpful so much as making money off of their customers. 3/25/2011

The desk staff was not enthusiastic or very helpful. I felt like the doctor was most interested in making money. She didn't explain any alternatives to her recommendation, making me feel like the only choice I had was to get what she suggested. more

Eye appt takes too long 3/22/2011

I don't want to wait so long in between each step of the appt. Everything should be automated so doc can see results without a long wait each time a test is done. I was there for 3 hours! more
