Great visit feel a lot better about my eyes time was taken to inform me of what was going on with me the doctor was outstanding

Worst

I spent almost 3 hours there for a yearly appointment. Most of it was just waiting. 1/2 as long appointment with more discussion about test results would be better.

Excellent Customer Service 11/14/2011

The customer service at Chesterfield Optometric Center was excellent. The staff in the optical department were professional & courteous. I would definitely recommend them to other customers. As a matter of fact, I will sending my husband there soon. Thanks again for the exceptional service. It was greatly appreciated. more

Good exam and good people 11/13/2011

It was 20 minutes after my appointment time before I was taken back to start the exam. That is certainly a pet peeve and unprofessional in my opinion. more

contact fitting 11/7/2011

I went today for a routine eye exam. After 2 hours I was finally done, but my $40 co pay turned into almost $200. I was never told that I was getting fitted for contacts, I was just told I could try a different brand and if I liked them could purchase at my follow up. I chose not to buy the contacts but had to pay $79 for the fitting, that I didn't even know was going on, plus my $40 copay. I think the DR should let you know that they are doing a fitting, when you are only there for a routine exam. This was my first time going, and I believe will be my last time going to your office. more

I recently went to Chesterfield Optometric to pick out a new pair of glasses. The staff was very experienced and very helpful and they had a nice selection of frames. I enjoyed my experience and I plan to use Chesterfield Optometric again in the future. more

Emergency (I thought) Visit 11/2/2011

Dr. Pinksy has been my eye doctor for 25 years and is absolutely great. I had a problem with my eye and just walked in this morning, explained what was going on, and was seen by another doctor. She was very understanding and took time from her busy schedule to see me. She was thorough and explained to me what was going on. I was very relieved when I left her office. more

Emergency Visit 10/29/2011

I was see lighting bolts in my right eye. They got me in within 2 hours of my call. Ran all the tests and put at easy. One improvement would be between the doctor and the front desk, I sat in the exam room for 45 minutes (not a surprise for an unscheduled visit) when the doctor came in, it stated that no one informed her I was waiting. more

My daughter was very nervous and Dr. Pinsky and her staff took a great deal of time with her to make sure she felt comfortable. The optician was also very understanding when she had a hard time deciding which glasses to pick. more

3 hour visits Office closed when done 10/24/2011

For 2 members of my family the visit took 3 hours and by the time we were done the office was closed and you felt pressured to select and glasses so everyone could go home. more

Follow up appointment 10/21/2011

I highly recommend Chesterfield Optometric Center the people were very friendly and doctors were very detailed in their examination. I've been seeing Dr Pinsky for years..and will continue my exams with her. The waiting time has really improved over the years, but is still way past the scheduled appointment time.. more

I must say this office is definitely superb. The staff are extremely friendly as well as the individual doctors. The office is very clean and very user friendly. While the selection of glasses are not that great and the prices are a little on the high side, the staff do not get upset if you request to take your prescription elsewhere and are more than helpful in getting everything set up in case you do decide that you want to in fact purchase their frames more
