AC Repair in San Antonio 6/8/2011

We had an Air Conditioning problem over the weekend and the company that normally services my system dropped the ball, so I gave Champion AC an opportunity. Roy Salinas was the technician that repaired my AC and he was fantastic. He ended up getting to the house an hour and a half after I called them and he was very professional. After 20 minutes of diagnosing my air conditioner he explained that the capacitor (spelling) was the problem and replaced it immediately. I was thrilled with the price and service and have already recommended Champion AC to some of my family members who get annual service for their AC. These guys are top notch and have great employees. Highly recommended! more

Great Service 6/2/2011

I had Champion AC come out to do a service tune-up last week. Within a week our AC wasn't working. I called them and they came out the same day. They found that my copper wires were rubbing together and had caused a leak, making us loose our freon. Champion AC covered the cost of the repair and fixed the issue as well as replacing the freon. I'm very impressed with our service tech Richard, and for the company in taking care of customers. They deserve 10stars. Customer for life. :) more

Total lack of Customer Service and Unresponsive 5/31/2011

**BUYER BEWARE *** AC went out Thur night right before the Memorial Day weekend. Called *Champion AC, and almost 4 hours later a tech arrived. Told him that we noticed no AC and shut the unit off, ... he said " Good because if you hadn't it would have burned out the motor". $269.00 later, he reset the thermostat on 66 and and said let it run to get the house cooled down. The next morning we realized we STILL had no AC. Now, its Friday...and after repeated calls to the office, a tech comes back to the house somewhere near 5PM. He informs us that we now need a motor!! We call Saturday morning to find out when he is returning to install the motor. We are told its to late to get one from the warehouse, we are screwed until Tuesday after the Holiday weekend. Now its Tues, ... and once again, We call the office for the time the tech will be here. We are told between 3 and 4PM. 6 Days without AC and No priority given whatsoever and they still havent shown up!! BUYER BEWARE, of this company ... if you have disposable cash, call them, if you want "good customer service and a satisfactory job done -DO NOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did I mention it's been 100 degrees every day of this issue? more

Two a/c spring tune ups 5/21/2011

We had Champion tume up both our air conditioning units. The servicer was on time, friendly, and gave us some suggestions of things we could do to make our units more efficient. Thank you! more

Called Champion after reading positive reviews and high BBB rating. Our a/c wasn't cooling. The technician found a leak and fixed it. What we didn't realize was that he must've accidentally disconnected the drain pipe. The attic flooded collapsing the ceiling and soaking the carpet in our guest room. We didn't find the damage until a few days later. So why the high rating? Because they stepped up to the plate. They sent their contractor to fix all the damage. Everything was done in 2 days. I was amazed with their customer service. Not once did they give me the run around. We have called them again since and we are very pleased. more

Brandon (our technician) was fantastic. He was on time and knowledgeable and stayed until the job was finished, even though it was quite late in the evening. We opted to subscribe to a service plan because he did such a great job. more

A/C Tune Up 4/13/2011

Had an A/C tune up today that was done by Brandon. I was very impressed with the service. Not only did he do a thorough job but he took the time to explain any potential problems and preventive maintenance tips I could do to make my system last longer. I will definetly use Champion AC again. more

And will take the time to explane any problems you may anticipate in the very near future with your units 6. Honest business company.7. Will keep using for year round seasonal checks. Champion Air Conditioning has changed my life!! 3/24/2011

First of all, Alexis is so very competent & affable. He is an excellent tech. Larry & Andrew did an incredible job in installing an entire new unit in my home in hours, not days!! Larry & Andrew also are so very competent & nice!! God bless you all at CHAMPION AC!!! You truly are the very best in San Antonio. I have lived here for 30 years & trust me, I have known numerous AC companies!! more
