Thanks to my excellent experience of Dr.Kennedy's care, I no longer fear fillings! Meaning I'm going to eat lots of sweets! Just kidding...I learned a lot about what in my diet is causing cavities and how to prevent them from happening. I was pretty freaked out when I first sat down in the chair but in no time at all, Dr. Kennedy made me feel comfortable and even ...(believe it or not!) happy. :). I would reccomend Ann Arbor Smiles to a celebrity if I had the chance. more

After a string of dental issues, I worked out a plan to take care of all existing issues and be proactive about uncovering any undiscovered problems. I had two 6+ hour appointments with sedation on consecutive Fridays. Dr. Gray, Kendra and the other members of the Smiles staff couldn't have been more attentive, focused and caring. Dr. Gray called between appts. to make sure that everything was progressing as expected. Everything about the treatment (and finances) was explained thoroughly upfront, with all options outlined. I couldn't be more pleased. I like the fact that consultations are done with the patient and dentist sitting face-to-face across a table, rather than with the patient ensconced in a dental chair. You feel like a true partner in the treatment. My adjectives for Ann Arbor Smiles: Up-to-date, professional, skilled and caring. I couldn't ask for more. more

ok, ANYONE there is great. They don't cater to cowards...they work with you through the fear of dentists. more

Dear Smiles, I have been a patient of dr kennedy for years, and have had no problem. I like the cerec machine due to its quick work and dr kennedy spent much time helping me with a bite and neck problem which turned out to be not dental but due to talking on the cell phone. However I got married a few years ago to an Englishman who had not had much dental care and brought him in to have his mouth overhauled which dr gray did. unfortunately, dr gray did so many fillings in one day (8) that my husband felt traumatized and did not want to get anything done for a while. He was referred to dr gardner who will be helping him in the future. The problem is not so much the traumatizing, but a letter was sent to our house that said you would be dropping him from your practice because you only care for patients who have good dental health. I found this to be insulting and judgmental and not a great psychology for keeping a patient. My husband has 5 children and I have one with a disability and we have a lot going on That has kept us from making dental appts a priority. I advise you to not send out insulting letters to get patients to come back. My husband has moved to another dentist and I am not sure what I will do. Thanks for your help. more

My visit today was like every other visit I've had with Smiles: The staff there is (in no particular order) efficient (they didn't waste my time), effective (they did what needed doing),obviously knowledgeable about my dental needs, as well as warm and friendly. more
